When I walked into Double Tapp I was greeted with a warm welcome. Being someone that has limited experience with guns didn’t matter. Customer service is Great, the fact that there is only Three (Owner, Wife, and one employee) people working there it can stretch them at times but they try hard to greet everyone as they walk in the door. Even with just the Three of them they will take the time with each person to make sure they understand and help find what each person is looking for and answer all questions honestly. I have been to every gun store in the area and these guys are the only ones that will tell you they dont know something and not make something up. I have caught people at other places in bend doing that. The team work there is great. I see the reviews claiming discrimination because of tattoos and color. what a joke most of their best customers are covered in tattoos. If your looking for fast in and out service overpriced or bought from another store and marked up and not getting what you want or correct answers go somewhere else. If you want to get the right thing the first time at a fair price this is the place. This is the best place to go to buy a gun or anything else no question!!!

I was in need of some cash so I came to the conclusion to sell my beloved 9mm. Im new to fire arms and my recoil spring guide had come loose and I wasnt sure what that would mean to shoot my gun or if i would have to warranty my two month old 1911. I walked in and explained what i had noticed, there was a gun smith named Will who was more than happy to educated me and fix it free of charge. I didnt buy my 1911 from them but i know where im going to buy my next gun from.

Recently purchased a handgun and took the Concealed Handgun Class. The class was great and the delivery was awesome! There was no falling asleep in the class. I learned a lot about how to stay out of trouble even when not carrying a firearm. Its called situational awareness. Business transactions are professional, helpful and friendly. Horrible experience - would give zero stars if I could. Went in to transfer ownership of a firearm and the guy that “helped” me was extremely rude. After being berated for inquiring about a routine transaction, it was my first and will be the last time going there. Everyone else treats me like a 2nd class citizen for FFL inbound processing (from auctions and Internet sales). Not here ... even if they didnt sell me the gun, they treat me like a valued customer, process the BI, make sure I know the features and quirks, and treat me like Id want to be treated. I was able to find my dream handgun there (FN Five Seven). Ive been looking for a while and then I strolled in there not expecting to purchase a handgun that day but as soon as I laid eyes on it I couldnt pass it up. I didnt have the correct proof of address but they went above and beyond by letting me use their laptop to go on the DMVs website and update my address. Awesome.
