Was there tonight to buy some groceries and a certificate for a Thanksgiving meal to give away. The cashier and the manager on duty were both fairly new. I recently had a horrible accident and am still struggling to walk and use my limbs The lady that checked me out, I wish I would have got her name, was so helpful and very nice. Her customer service was amazing, she was kind and very understanding. I have not been treated so well in a long time. Not only was she very kind, but the kid with the half black half red hair that helped me to my car was so kind and grasiois.. I love this. Thank you to these two amazing people. You deserve a kindness award, along with a huge raise. I appreciate you 🤗 and my faith in a kind world has been restored.

Its my personal go to store. Prices are always fair and the staff are very nice and helpful. Love their selections in comparison to other stores like Grocery Outlet or Walmart. I can get almost anything I need here from snacks, to exotic ingredients to super health foods

The Bend Food4Less is literally the best grocery store I’ve ever encountered. Yes, sometimes their prices fluctuate, but they also carry a ton of local products and bob and weave and adjust prices as needed, which is completely understandable and commendable. I live nearby and before the pandemic used to only stop in for milk or coffee but since March have been so impressed with their handling of all this and their consistent inventory and attitude haven’t shopped anywhere else since.No matter where you shop not every shopping experience is going to be perfect but what matters is this local business has rallied and showed up for the population it serves, literally every day, regardless of what was happening in the world, and for that they get all the stars.

Clean, quick store with a WinCo or Sherms feel. We always come here to stock up for the week in Eagle Crest. I was content to find $8 craft 6-packs. The fiancée is able to find Mexican onions for her dad. Everyone is happy here.

I was over charged on some sale items. When I tried to bring it to the cashiers attention name Patti 2 she was very rude and childish. The Over charge was $11 dollars. Food 4 Less should get rid of her. She’s way to unprofessional to work with customers. They need competent adults not bellowing bullies

Ive never had the experience at Food 4 Less like I had tonight. I witnessed one of your female cashiersbeing so out of line it was unbelievable!!! She was so rude to a Hispanic couple, that it made me sick to my stomach by her rudeness and obvious biased views. SHAME ON YOU FOOD FOR LESS, BEND, OR!! For hiring and having this person working at food 4 Less. What a poor representation of my home Bend,OR that Ive had the privilege to live here for the last 55yrs.Im saddened! This womans behavior. Is unacceptable!! You need to work on adding more people of color to your staff. It seems really white.And Im German.

I grew up shopping in this store. It has always had the lowest prices and the best values. I have seen it progress through the years to promote local vendors and also provide more healthier and organic options.Most recently I have seen a greater selection for vegetarian and vegan lifestyles; proving it doesnt have to cost more to eat clean. I appreciate that I can speak to person who oversees a department and trust that they know their products and give accurate information. I have also appreciated the convenience of grocery pick up when I am in a hurry and want to beat traffic back to Redmond.

Food for less was great. They are well stocked. Greated at the door with a sign encouraging masks! Also equipped with a had wash station, a person spraying down carts as they are returned. Prices are a little higher than some other stores. Its a close trip for me.

Very bad experience we came in on Wednesday night All the staff where very ill mannered and impolite. We are from out of town and definitely diddnt feel welcomed. We were shopping for groceries, as we are on a family trip, and we decided to try a different grocery store instead.

Good employee owned store. Everyone has a Bend face. Which means you smile when you need to or feel like it but you let it drop when you have no one around. It is great because I do this allllll the time. Go shop there for good organic vegies and food as well. Plus local honey, get that honey.

More like food4more this place is terrible. You get the winco warehouse shopping experience (if not less) with the inventory of grocery outlet for the price of market of choice!! Do not come here and do not recommend this establishment to anyone you care about.

I was very disappointed in their prices. Ive never shoped here before because its too far north for me but I was out that way anyway so I thought Id do my weekly grocery shopping there. I was pleased with their fruit selection and prices, however once I started actually shopping for dry goods, dairy, etc. I was very shocked at the process of their products. I typically shop at Fred Meyers sometimes Safeway or in a pinch Walmart, and their prices werent even close. Tortillas were more than what Im used to, milk, chips, canned goods everything was so expensive. This store didnt live up to their name.

I really love this place, it seems the owners go out of their way to stock local Oregon made products and they really have a great variety of things. I love supporting local business so when we go in and the first thing I see is a local tea , soap made in bend, and even dry beans and bread flour that are local to Oregon its hard not to love it there!

Please dont waste your time here! The name Food 4 Less does not reflect the actual price of things! Meat and produce is secondary to other places but you pay more! Lettuce and cantaloupe today looked 1 - 2 days from being rotten!

The prices tend to be a bit higher than some stores in town. The produce is always good though. Its always fresh and plentiful. Staff is always curious and helpful. I just dont enjoy the prices sometimes.

This store is NOT a bargain. Walmart is less expensive hands down. So, if you are looking for a bargain keep going down the road. It used to be reasonable but that ship has long ago sailed ......

Im a long time Food 4 Less shopper. This locally owned and operated store has great staff and pricing. New renovations are a little confusing for old timers but seems to be a smart change. 60 to 80 percent natural foods and products. If they dont have it, they will try to get it. Can buy produce by the case; In bulk too. They keep the public restrooms clean and presentable. Great companion store to Trader Joes in the same parking lot.

Solid 4 starsHas organics and ethnic sections that have decent stocking. Quality and quantity varies. Good meats but stay away from frozen fish, there is more ice than fish. Special orders for cases are delivered quickly.

I understand you shouldnt sample the bulk but we all do, and luckily I did cuz my bite was stale. But to have the audacity to stop me after purchasing a better snack, and ask me to empty my pockets over a sample is downright appalling. Well I emptied them in front of all the other customers who were checking out. It was extremely embarrassing. Of course I had no merchandise. To make it worse there was an older couple next to me sampling multiple items just chomping away. No repercussion there. Must be a retirement perk. Overall the only thing less about this place is the atmosphere and quality of product.

Google Maps You NEED To Update Satellite Images- You Got Food 4 Less Its a Strip Mall Now That was Remodeled Befor PANDEMIC!

The name of the store is FOOD 4 LESS. I did not feel their prices were less at all. Warehouse style store with prices comparative to Safeway. Prices worth noting, Halo tangerines were $7.15 !! When I took the time to tell the manager their prices were too high, she asked if I was from Idaho, cause those folks complain about our prices. I told her no, weve been members of the community for 30 years. This manager took it as though she was personally offended and ARGUED with me, their prices are not too high! She actually picked up my dog food to scan in to her phone to see what another store charges!! No rebuttal on that item, mind you the canned cat food is 1 cent less than Safeway. At least there they bag your groceries. Food 4 less charges a lot and gives you zero service, in fact you get to have an argument with the staff. So when youre asked if you found everything ok, or did you enjoy your shopping experience - dont tell them the truth unless you have time to argue your point. The good thing is, I dont have to shop there, and wont be back.

First and last time we will go to this store. We have shopped in Food 4 Less in CA and were very happy with the store. Here, the selection is lousy, prices in most instances are higher.

Love shopping here. Always great deals, especially.aroumf the holidays when they have their turkey meal for only 19.99! You get a turkey, stuffing, olives, gravy mixes, corn, beans and canned pumpkin. What a deal!

Large store with a decent produce deptartment and prices are competitive. But its hard to find stuff in the isle, needs better signs at the ends. Not all isles do and those that are present doesnt have a very complete list. Found myself wandering up and down the same isles, not good for a disabled veteran. Some products arent offered like Cholula hot sauce. Very popular sauce even in most cafes. Couldnt locate dry soup mixes after multiple trips up and down the canned soup area. The checkers are friendly and surprisingly fast considering they switch between lanes. My bagging took 3 times longer than the checking.

If youre looking for something unusual, they most likely who have it. Great bulk section. Getting a good variety of local and organic and natural products.

Disappointed. Food 4 Less used to be the place to get good deals. Not so much now. Almost $10 for a 2lb loaf of cheese. $4.49 for a half gallon of almond milk. All this happened after they remodeled. The prices are thru the roof and I still have to bag my own groceries and deal with staff that act like they hate their job. Where is the Less part of your name?

Worst grocery store i have ever been to! The check out lady was completely rude to me and ignored me and made me wait while she helped 3 other people in line after me. Will never come to this store again I came for groceries not to be yelled at by the check out lady for no reason. Awful awful customer service!

I moved to Bend recently and was shopping at Lowe’s and Home Depot and thought I’d check out Food For Less for groceries since I was in the area. Boy was I in for a rude awakening when I saw their prices! It was NOT food for less! Ridiculous prices, given their name. I won’t be back.
