Everyone at Hertz was a joy to work with. All financing straight forward, no games or gimmicks.

If anybody gave you a sign or a clue take this as one. Do not do business with this dealership. I am still suffering my own consequences 5 years later. They sold me a lemon, not an orange, and I spent 9 months trusting their word just to become absolutely devastated when I received my vehicle back in the same condition as the day they first tried to fix it. I was informed multiple times that they were going to resolve my issue whether it be fixing my car, replacing my car or finding some sort of solution. They completely put me right back in to a life-threatening dangerous vehicle for me and my children to drive around with and risk our lives daily without any type of sympathy or concern whatsoever. They have something point inspection that is not completed on my vehicle as specified that it was. They sold me a xylon package pretty much a wax job inside and outside of my car which I never received because my car was a defective automobile which started having problems within the first two weeks and I am still owed over $600 for that additional package which the company will not refund me and I refuse to deal with this type of dealership again they probably ripped me off from my money stashed in my back pocket just as I walk through the door. Anyone who does business with them is putting themselves in jeopardy and in many cases you sign loan agreement which locks you right in financially. I cant believe after all these years that I never had a review posted on this website if I didnt have a full-time job in a defective car that ended up costing me $500 a month I would have sat there on the entrance of the door with a picket stick warning everyone do not buy from this car dealership.

Great dealership. No pushy sales. Good cars with low miles.Drove away with with two newer Subaru’s. The wife’s car is having battery trouble and a faulty tire pressure sensor a day later. I spent many months considering a purchase of first a new car, then a used one. During my deliberations I kept a close eye on Hertz Car Sales of Bend because I knew my old clunker of a car was on its last leg. Justin Devenport was very kind and helpful all during my purchase—everyone in the office was nice and supportive; Ill need a new ride so that I can travel to my out-town cancer treatments or drug trials, if and when that happens. I normally dont like the car buying process, but my experience with Hertz Car Sales of Bend was excellent, primarily because of the low key, helpful approach of their salesperson, Cory McCarty. My family and I have been buying cars from here for over 7 years. When we started looking into buying used cars, we were worried about getting someone else issues and we didnt know how the previous owner took care of the car. But after a lot of research, we realized the same issues can happen with new cars. After checking out dealerships, we ended up here and its been the best decision ever. We have purchased many cars between all the family members. We still have a car we purchased 5 years ago we rack up the miles on that car. We mostly just have to service our cars, but when an issue comes up, the service team takes care of us. The sales and finance team are honest and informative. I was recently in there and some of the younger kids still have a lot to learn, but their heart is in the right place and theyre learning from a top notch team. Since t hen we have not purchased a new car and stick with used cars. If you want a place that will take care of you this is it.

I purchased 2 vehicles from Hertz Car Sales just in the past 2 months. This isn’t your ordinary car dealership. They are not pushy. My salesman (Derrick) listened to what I wanted and didn’t push anything on me. Very professional. In the finance department is Dan. He is also great to work with. He worked to secure the auto loans and made the signing process SIMPLE. Not pushy at all. I highly recommend that you at least give them a try (ask for Derrick in sales).

I had purchased a vehicle there years ago and had a pleasant experience so I decided to go back. This experience was awful. The sales person was disorganized and would not listen to me. He kept trying to pull me to look at cars that I had made clear I didnt want. He still kept doing it. He took my boyfriend and I over to the dirt lot across the street to show us a car he thought I might like. He started it up, had to run it though the car wash as it was covered in dirt. After it came out of the wash he had me sit in it. I smelled burning wires and caution lights started coming on. I jumped out at the smell of smoke. Turns out in his disorganization, I mentioned before, this car was not ready for sale. We tried to leave several times and he continued to pull us around. I asked if we could sit for a bit and discuss finances. I was not impressed and said I didnt want to run my credit numerous times. He said they wouldnt until I was ready. He said the office would look at my situation internally but not run anything until I agreed to do so. We said we wanted to leave and he kept telling us to stay. We eventually had to walk out under his protest. Just got a letter from Hertz today saying they ran my credit. Nice.

Very disappointed in my truck I just bought from here. I love it but since the second day I have had it I’ve been having different issues. First off they sold me a truck that the horn doesn’t work. I didn’t test it out because it wasn’t my top priority. Secondly, their is a clinking noise going on under my truck. I’ve already been their once for them to fix it. They fixed it for about a week and it started clinking again. The other big issue I have is I went to the store the other night and went to start it up and it didn’t start. I had to walk home. I haven’t even had this truck for 2 months. I finally got an apt today at the service department, first off they told me on the phone they had scheduled an appointment for 1pm I went to check in and they didn’t even say I had an appointment scheduled. Luckily I figured out how to get my truck running again. After my truck was there all day I come to pick it up for them to tell me they only looked into the clinking noise out of the list of issues with it. They acted like I was lying about my truck clinking even though they fixed it once AND they wanted to charge me for the horn to be repaired. They’re extremely dismissive and the lack of care is infuriating to deal with. Since purchasing this truck the most consistent thing about this place is that all of the employees I have dealt with have a “not my job not my problem” attitude. Stop passing the buck and own up to the fact that you sold me a truck with multiple issues! These are not issues I should have to pay for. Last time I will ever go there to buy a vehicle. I had some good customer service when I first bought it but I feel like they don’t even care now that it’s off the lot. Won’t be making this mistake again

This is the second purchase at Hertz. The first was about 20 years ago and was a great experience. This purchase was the same. Char was pleasant and listened to what we wanted. The truck we purchased was just taken in. Not even detailed yet but was exactly what we wanted and the price was spot on. They took our trade and gave us a fair price.

First off if If could give this this place 0 Stars I would this is what happened I was pre-approved online and I printed there certificate that stated that I was pre-approved for the one in Bend Oregon then when I get there today for the schedule appointment they had let me know that my pre-approval did not go through all the way to them which I know is a flat out lie to the fact that they called me and left me a voicemail stating that my pre-approval had went through and they wanted to talk to me to see which vehicle that I was interested in and I was reviewing other reviewers along the web and on Google I highly do not recommend Hertz auto sales in Bend as I just first get there as well intro after we sit and then start talking about the vehicle Im interested in he jumps on his on his laptop if it can searching other locations for a completely different vehicle that I did not want yes Im a wee bit flexible but I do have my mind set to vehicle that I wanted I did not appreciate that either so if you go through these guys be very careful they have a lot of bad reviews way more than what they do good reviews on the web

This is the worst organization I have ever worked with. I would avoid working with them at all costs. My son and I were speaking with Mark about a Hyundai and we tried their financing and the rate was extremely high. My son had no credit and I was from out of town. So this morning I called up my bank got a much better rate and was approved at 8:30AM EST which is 5:30AM in Bend. We spoke with Mark and Mark informed his finance guy named Dan Wyland and everything was fine. Dan spoke with my bank and said he would send over the paperwork to close the deal. I spoke to Dan about extended a warranty which they wanted to sell for $2,784 with a $100 deductible and I used Coast Guard, a company I used before and loved and the cost was $1,759 and the deductible was only $50. I called my bank and they didnt receive any paperwork and then 1 hour later they called my son and said they sold the car to another person. How does a dealer do that? When you are waiting on the title work to finalize the paperwork for the loan and sell to another person. Well they sold the car and made more money on someone else and screwed my son. Please stay as far away from them as possible. There are many other reputable dealers in town. By the way the go by the name of West One Automotive Group, Inc as a franchise of Hertz. I will be pulling our corporate account away from Hertz as well.

Now we are trying to sell the car and nobody wants it because of a bad carfax.They act like theyre a quality car dealer but Dont be fooled really get the car checked out if youre gonna buy it from them.

They listened to our needs and found the perfect car for us at a very fair price. They also gave us much more for our trade in than other local dealers had offered. As long as Im in Bend Ill always begin my car shopping at Hertz. I doubt Ill need to go anywhere else.

I had a great experience at the Bend Hertz. My salesman Chad Greene and the manager Slade Seehawer were very nice and made the whole process pain free. They brought the advertised car over from Eugene. The next day I found a few things that needed fixing and they sent me over to the Service dept to get them fixed. Also a great crew over there. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a car to go check them out. Actually I already have.

My car buying experience with Chad the salesman, was not pleasant, however, Danny the finance manager made it all worth it!! He was great to work with and just a really nice guy. Our Jeep was beyond its last legs. We were nursing it along hoping it would stay alive long enough for us to save for another heap. Dealing with car dealerships in the past has been like cutting off a leg ... slowly. My daughter got a car thru Dan W. and had a great experience. After a week of practically guiding my hand to the computer, she got me to check it out. I found exactly the car I wanted ... in Bend almost 200 miles away. But I contacted them, Dan worked an amazing deal and even offered to bring it to me in Portland. As it turned out, I met with another dealer in Salem who had all the paperwork in order, knew exactly what he needed to do and I was in and out in a couple of hours. Best time Ive ever had buying a car.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM BEND OR HERTZ DEALERSHIP- My Dad bought a “title washed” car under faux assurance of a “clean title” here for me a few years back- only now are we discovering what is going on through fixing damage caused by a recent accident.Told that the car had a clean title but has a bent frame and has insides scrambled by presumable hillbillies- none of which was done under my ownership.This dealership engages in fraud due to lax Oregon laws and they rely on consumer ignorance to keep doing what they do. My car came off the lot essentially totaled.Read other one star reviews and look into “title washing”. Very scary stuff. Do your research and always ask for a Carfax report- if the dealer refuses they are not reputable and walk off the lot.If this has happened to you - contact the DMV and get a lawyer if you can. These guys will deny and gaslight you into thinking they are not responsible. Disgusting.

Had a fantastic time with Daryl Toci at Hertz Car Sales. He showed me a couple of options in my budget and their was a car on the lot that just spoke to me. It was the style I liked and the exterior/interior color was perfect. And he hooked me up with a payment plan that fit my budget. I definetly recommend working with him.

Be prepared to be subject to high pressure selling tactics. They didnt have a pickup that I wanted. They thought they had one at a different location in the valley. Demanded that I sign some intent to buy form without ever seeing the truck. I refused and left. I did some research and learned that the truck that they had still wasnt the trim model I was looking for. Not sure what wouldve happened if I wouldve signed the intent form. About as high pressure a buying environment as Ive been in. Will not be back.

The WORST customer service ever! I showed up at 5:31 for a 5:30 appointment to pick up my rental car. The staff was sitting out front and refused to help me, their response was you are late. If a customer is 1 minute late and your response is sorry we cant help you that is GARBAGE SERVICE, absolutely unacceptable and a terrible reflection on the business. If someone at our retail did that to a customer they would be fired on the spot. As a regular car rental customer, I would advise you to go with ENTERPRISE as they have had awesome service the past decade I have done business with them, never had anything like this happen and I rent 2x times a month on average. What a JOKE!

One of the worst dealers I have ever been. Wasted 3 hours of my time by inviting me even though they werent ready to budge down to meet my price. Watch out its a high pressure situation out there as they gang up on you. They say Kelly Blue Book and Nada guides are incorrect.

First of all, I didnt know that Hertz had used cars for sale until we passed a lot in Bend. We were looking for a car to buy so I looked it up online and we went to see. It was a super experience with the folks in Bend and we ended up with the perfect car for us for alot less than we could have gotten it anywhere else. Id totally recommend them.

Ive known Chad Greene for years and his expertise and knowledge of vehicles make him an awesome car salesmen at Hertz Car Sales of Bend.

Went in the a few weeks back to look at a newer Ram 1500 they had in stock. Asked about what warranty remained, sales person, told me Full factory warranty...is on the truck. I wanted to do a pre-purchase inspection..they refused to let me take the truck...so I took the VIN off of the truck and went to Lithia Dodge, to see if and what warranty remained on it...they said Dodge products previously owned in Canada, the warranty was null and void! So, the Salesperson lied BIG TIME. So, I ended up buying a 1 year old Ram 1500 from Lithia, for $2500 less, and it was an American Truck with a full factory warranty. BUYER BEWARE and do your homework, most previously owned Canadian vehicles do not come with any factory warranty. I then get a call from someone named Ken(?) to ask if I was still interested, and I told him what happened and he tried to tell me that I was wrong...and I told him so, and said NOT SO, this truck is Canadian! No factory warranty. He said they offered warranty on them for extra, and I told him again, I bought one already then said, not only did I buy a year newer truck, for less, but did not feel forced to buy an extended warranty on it, just to have some kind of peace of mind on it. SO BUYER BEWARE, they sell shady trucks there, possibly cars. These vehicles are obviously not retired rental cars...but gray market Canadian cars full of rust too!

We have bought 2 cars for hertz over the years. First experience was amazing. 2nd one the new sales team did a bait and switch with the warranty we purchased. We were buying a car with FULL warranty or not buying at all. Well our FULL warranty end up to be a limited warranty. So be warned: these guys will say one thing then do another.

This place lured me in with the car I was looking for, at a decent price. Dan Wyland, the business manager, initially sounded helpful and reliable over the phone. He stated that they performed a 108 point inspection and did not find anything wrong with the vehicle other than a broken latch for a bin in the trunk, which he promised they would replace. He stated that they did not offer 0% financing. Long story short, several days after purchasing the vehicle several error lights came on and we discovered that a critical component on the dash electronics was broken. Unclear how either of these escaped the 108 point inspection?! I have called everyday since we purchased the vehicle to inquire about the part for the trunk. After initially stating that the part had been ordered, the service department later stated that it had not been ordered. When I asked why, they told me that the part was more expensive than sales had anticipated and they were not motivated to get the part. Im still waiting for it! But the worst offense in my eyes was that only days after we purchased the vehicle, these guys started offering 0% financing. When I asked Mr. Wyland why he did not inform us that this was an upcoming promotion, he said that it wasnt available last month. How is the business manager is unaware of impending promotions? These guys obviously only care about their bottom line, not serving their customers. I now have to spend time everyday trying to manage promises that were made with a service staff that seems totally inept.

The sales person we dealt with was friendly and helpful and we (thought we were) getting an amazing deal on our Mazda 6.Problem after problem arose once we got to the finance department. The finance guy snuck in the warranty on us when we told him no warranties, saying it came with the car and would not cost extra, intentionally leaving out the fact the no, our monthly payments didnt change but it did cost extra ($3,000 extra to be exact). He also added the germ protection coating service when we didnt want that as well, and rushed us through signing the paperwork. Then when we caught it and went back in, he argued with us on whether it was a good buy or not, ignoring the fact that either way we DID NOT WANT IT!!!! Plus, he stated that there were no refunds on the coating, and that the care center would contact us to schedule putting it on the car.When I went to schedule the oil change, I mentioned I hadnt gotten a call and the guy over there (who was great by the way) was really confused because they dont do that. Ever.Now come to find out, the finance guy has conveniently forgotten to file the paperwork on the warranty.If you are looking for a vehicle, stay far far away from this dealership.

I would think twice about buying a car from Hertz especially if you have questionable credit. They put me into a previously wrecked car that was never disclosed to me, tacked on silly fees and things I didnt need. Told me to come back and trade it in on something else in a year. When I did that they were less than interested in helping me because I was so upside down in the car, their advice was to sell it on Craigslist. I took their advice and then learned the car was wrecked in California, had airbag deployment and was sent to auction. California has strick rules on dealer fraud, lemon law and standards of safety which is why I believe it was shipped to Oregon where our Consumer Protection laws are not as strick. If you decided to purchase a used car from Hertz I would strongly recommend having a good lawyer and doing a ton of research. I was too trusting and didnt find out until it was too late, Im now 5,000 upside down in a car that no one wants and that I never wanted either but because of a desperate situation I got taken advantage of. Also do some research about title washing because I had no idea of such a thing and now I have learned that because of Oregons relaxed rules on this you could be driving a wrecked, worthless and unsafe car that you paid Blue Book value for.

Friendly staff and my sales agent was cool. But the process of buying a car was frustrating bc i bought a vehicle on a saturday and after all the paperwork was done they handed me my keys but then remembered since its a used car it needs to be serviced and checked. Hertz car service isnt open on the weekends so i had to wait a few days just to receive my car. My car also had a recall on it so i had to take it into the dealership sometime after i finally received the car. i wish they would tell the potential customer about that kinda stuff instead of just focusing on the sale.

Derek was knowledgeable, professional, and provided great service for the vehicle that we purchased from Hertz in Bend.

Herzt of Bend deserves Zero Stars0 out of 10They are dishonest I took the receipt of all the things that they fixed to a different mechanic the mechanic open my hood and pointed out how things were either not replaced or things that should have been done in priority.They said they replaced my coils in engine they only replaced one . My serpentine belt was not replaced when i paid for that . I Spent 2,400 Steves place vw audi volvo fixed my Vw Quick and fixed my coils and belts for 1,100 .

We were treated like an inconvenience to the salesman.

I had a great experience at Hertz. I love my new 2012 Hyundai Sante Fe! We just started to looking for that type of Vehicle and Hertz was the first place we stopped. Im so glad we did. Service was excellent and our Saleman Derek was great. You could tell he was there for us! Everyone so friendly and make the transaction go smooth. Thanks Hertz! :-) I will be for sure recommending you.

Excellence at its finest, top tier service and they put my rear end in a Mercedes glk, what more could i ask for.
