This man is bad business. Purchased an item had to trade for smaller item. He refuse to give me back the difference of the cost then jacked up the price on the smaller item. I am learning to support my own. Never again....

The owner is such a kind and sweet man. He made the whole buying process easy while telling us anecdotal stories of Belton and the sounding areas. He has an excellent selection of table, couches, chairs and even mattresses. They also offer delivery!

My family recently relocated to the area and were in need of a new bed. After hitting the usual mattress places, we finally found Bargain Barn, which was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality mattress at a more than fair price. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to make the whole process pleasant and arranged same day delivery. Listen folks, there just aren’t many places like this left, where you can get a great deal, while supporting local business. You simply cannot go wrong with Bargain Barn. 10/10 Will absolutely buy again!

When I go in there their staff is so friendly that It fell like youre at home I would highly recommend this place a 150% I am in there at least once or twice a week

I have been doing business with the Bargain Barn in Belton and A-1 Furniture in Temple, both owned by the family for over 25 years.Their furniture and appliances have always met or exceeded my expectations!Their customer service is excellent. They make you feel right at home and truly appreciate your business, unlike the bigger, flashier chain furniture stores who act lik r they are doing you a favor allowing you to visit their business!The emphasis is on the quilt of their products and making their customers happy.I highly recommend anyone stop by there first if they are looking for high quality new and used products with realistic prices.

Very disappointed with the purchase of a refurbished dryer. My mother purchased a dryer from this business this summer. She was assured the dryer would last forever as long as she cleans the lint trap. She was religious about cleaning this. The heating element went out and she called to ask about some sort of resolution. They insisted they do not work on what was sold (even though the man that talked her into this purchase is the person that refurbished this item) and her warranty was only for 30 days. I understand there is no warranty - but to mislead my elderly mother to waste $200 on a dryer that would last her a lifetime is an unfortunate business practice. I am disappointed.

I love this place we got a refrigerator from them about 4-5 years ago and it still works but plan on going to look at getting a different one and a stove today

Their prices are very good, nice selection, courteous staff but they need to get some cool air in that building and I think more people would show up anduh buy things I didnt stay as long as I wanted too, because it was just too hot inside the building.

Joe is amazing! When we found out we had guests coming to stay on short notice, he delivered and set up a bed in 3 hours from shopping to completion. When I needed NEW furniture (yes, he sells used appliances and new furniture both), he delivered (and rearranged) our bedroom suite. When I needed a new couch, he delivered and set it up too.And when we moved away for 3 years and came back, he worked with my husband to surprise me with a 2nd fridge...and delivered it all the way to Killeen for a very reasonable fee.Last but not least, when our washer went out, he figured out the problem and delivered us a fantastic washer and set it all up for us on a serious budget.If you need new furniture or refurbished appliances or just a good chat with one of the best guys I know, go to Bargain Barn and talk to Joe. He understands the needs of the military and he treats them well. Honest, fair, dependable, and friendly.

When my refrigirator went out, I shopped around for a comparable size to what I had. All the major stores wanted $700 for one. I looked on Craigslist, but no sellers wanted to agree upon a warranty for 30 days if the fridge stopped working. I went to Bargain Barn and found one for $250 that was plugged in at their store to prove it worked. They also said that if it stopped working within 45 days that they would replace it or refund my money. They even took my old fridge free of charge. Granted, I bought a used refrigirator to get me through until I could afford a new one, but it has been a little over a year and a half and I cant see spending money to replace a fridge that works. I have also bought a table for my entry way from them at half the cost at a name brand furniture store. They have a lot of merchandise in their store that has been discontinued or slightly damaged, but the staff there does a good job at refurbishing it so it suits my needs.
