It has been a joy to work with Sarah. She is knowledgeable, patient and happy to help. I have purchased a loom, accesories and yarn via the website after email communications with Sarah. As a new weaver her patience and wilingness to explain and guide has been terrific. Starting a new craft when in lock down was not easy but Sarah and her husband have made it a great experience. I love my new WX 60 loom and SAORI weaving.

Sarah was fantastic! The lesson was really informative, I made a huge piece of fabric, great value for money! Very calming creative habit, and will definitely be back again if I’m in the States :)

My wife and I scheduled a 5 day weaving workshop with Sarah at her studio in Belton, TX. At the risk of sounding like a commercial, Ill simply state that the workshop was outstanding in every way. Our weaving started off in a standard traditional style and, with Sarahs teaching, quickly evolved to be the free-form design-on-the-loom style of Saori. We also were able to sew, again Saori style, two garments from previously woven material. In summary of our experience, Sarah is an outstanding teacher and very highly qualified weaver and designer of Saori-style garments. Her instruction technique is totally non-pressure and, in keeping with Saori philosophy, there are no mistakes. The Saori looms are very easy to learn and to use. We most definitely hope to return for further instruction.

Great shop! The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. She teaches Saori weaving and spinning, and is also a skilled knitter and sewist. The shop carries a variety of fiber arts tools as well as yarn for weaving and some for knitting and crocheting. If youre into fiber arts at all, you should check this shop out.

We had such a great time taking weaving classes at Handmade Saori Weaving Studio. It is very inviting, colorful and clean. Sara is a great teacher and she really shares her knowledge so freely. It was an overall great experience. Can’t wait to go again.
