Went in there for the family and don’t get me wrong but I go in there almost every night for family. Tonight I was grabbing drinks and food for dinner for the family and the front cashier saw me behind this man that was buying stuff. The minute I came up to cash, she walked away and went to the office going on her phone for 4 minutes. Tried getting her attention but she ignored me over her phone. Finally told her that I’m ready to cash out and she looked at me with attitude and walked over. She acted like I wasn’t there from the beginning. She then threw my stuff in my bags like it didn’t matter and once I was cashed out, she stormed off with an attitude, not even pushing the bagging Carousel with my stuff in it and I don’t like reaching towards the back of the desk to turn it myself. I’m very unhappy and if I’m gonna get attitude over a phone, then I might as well take my business somewhere else. I worked in retail and fast food and I understand that work is stressful but they shouldn’t be on their phones when customers are waiting to be cashed out or needing help with something. Very unprofessional is all I gotta say. I usually brush things off if they were being rude but to ignore someone over a phone isn’t the right way to treat a loyal customer.

This store is so much better than the one in Belmont. Not all congested with stuff in the way.

Great service and selection. One of the card readers was down on Christmas eve and the staff handled the inconvenience with a good attitude. Having this store in this location has been extremely helpful to me.

Located on 140 new store easy in out clean every thing is new opened this week July. 8th ish

Prices arent too terrible, and the selection is pretty great. its nice to go and even just look around. the staff are usually nice and the service is pretty quick. they also take EBT cards!!

Owner and cashiers are very pleasant. Usually have everything you might need.

Love this store. So happy they put one in in Belmont! Prices are great, staff is friendly and so helpful when you cant find something or need a recommendation.

I really wish there was one in laconia or close enough to walk to. I only get to shop there if my mom or friend brings me. So its once in a great while. Though I liked almost everything they had to offer.

Good location, have lots of stuff a quicker in and than Walmart. The staff is nice when you can find them buy they are always on their cell phones. Ive watched them walk away from customers at the register to have personal calls, not the best look.

Very convenient. Close to home its a good one stop shop for basic groceries, personal hygiene products and home goods.

Great place cheap prices

Its a dollar store. Nothing fancy but, had all the essentials. The two girls working were friendly and courteous.

Love Dollar General Stores good prices and they carry everything you need almost lol. The Belmont store is very convenient but the managers and a couple of the employees are a little dull and not very nice to talk to but the like I said the store is excellent. I use it every day.

I just moved and couldnt get to my stuff, they had everything I needed and more. Great prices!

The staff isnt the issue...its dollar general, in general. Their system is horrid. Anything thats supposedly on sale never comes up the correct price. Ive experienced this at EVERY dollar general. They RIP customers off by the thousands. If my husband didnt add it up as it went through, wed get ripped off every trip. Last week, on one trip it was $21.00 they tried to not take off, but did after my husband pointed every discrepancy individually.So in closing, they do have good deals, but add it all up yourself and dont be afraid to correct them. Most people let $5-$10 go, add it up over the course of a year, thats a weakened away!

A complete mess. Clearance tables and racks clogging the aisles and half the stuff in boxes. No wonder the shelves are empty.

Quick and easy if your running late for a birthday party and you dont have a gift yet, its also nice that if you do live near it, if you run out of a certain food its easy just to swing right by, instead of further-away stores.

I hate to leave such a disparaging review, but its very neccessary. This DG does have a couple very good workers, it also has some of the most incompetent fools alive in NH.I wont put specific names, but the girl who is straight out of high school should Thank God every night, because she got really lucky getting hired at DG. Without her getting a job there, she could be looking at a lifetime of licking jerky stamps for the Cazonie gang in Sanford Maines East wing trailer park....NUMB as they COME has a whole new meaning....

This store did the same exact thing the one did. Told me they could only sell me one item of the 10 penny items that I had found.

Just went to look because it was new. Onetime only. Items are not only a $1. Its $1 to $5 and up. To crowded with all the items and small space for a general store.
