I have never eaten gourmet pizza at a top bakery like this before. The crust was specially made for the pizza and the sauce was wholly cooked with great saucy taste. The staff was pleasant and I even tried the gelato....could not help myself. They make that too...amazing!!!! Crupkin and blueberry donuts...

Cant go wrong with ANYTHING from Spiga! Its a great place for grabbing fancy desert to bring to a party or dinner. Also great for Sunday breakfast and lunch fast casual with bakery breads and pastries you can bring home for later or a treat for the kids:)

Lard prosciutto bread delicious!!Canolli cake looked nice but lacked flavor and didnt taste fresh.

Hands down the best lobster tails ever! Everything from there is amazing: red velvet, carrot cake, pecan pie, triple chocolate moose cake...and they make minis so you can try a bunch if different things without committing to a whole cake or pie. Seriously, you will not be disappointed! I plan to try their donuts and canolis next.

I heard they had great food. And I learned that they also had pizza. Pizza is one of my favorite foods however not from here. The desserts look wonderful but I didnt have any so I cant remember a verdict.

Inconsistency with the prosciutto on the GianLuca panini. One time you go it’s sliced perfectly and thinly. Another time you go, it’s thick and dried out. Seriously? On top of that, I purchased a Snapple and asked for a cup of ice on the side and the lady worker had the nerve to ask for $1? It’s understandable if I didn’t purchase a drink, but I purchased a drink and have been coming here for long. That sealed it for me. Won’t be coming back.

The food Is good but the service Is so slow that while waiting for a coffe I could have Walked home and made myself a coffee....I think that I waited 15 minutes for a coffee and they kept telling me a moment...the panino with the imported from italy prosciutto ( not the American prosciutto but the real italian parm prosciutto) Is what makes me give 4 stars. If they can Speed up the time, then I Will give them 5 stars...even if this Place Is expensive. The quality Is good

Amazing pastries! Everything is delicious. The gourmet donuts are the freshest donuts that I have had. No after taste of baking soda or flour. Not greasy. Not too sweet. It was perfect. I would highly recommend this place

This bakery is ADORABLE!! A place i want to sit outside & sip on an ice coffee. So inviting. Well kept. Curb appeal is on point. The inside matched the outside. Tons of options, not just desserts a great place for lunch too. The staff was super friendly & helpful. Military friendly which i loved.

They close before their posted time so I couldnt try them. Like 5 other cars came trying to visit also while I searched for another alternative while parked in their parking lot. Update your info!Update: I was there Jan 11 for my birthday. We arrived at 5:55 and stayed in the lot until 6:20. Its saved in my Google maps timeline. Your Google profile says youre open until 7pm. At least 4 cars drove in to the lot and walked to the door then left. I will certainly try it out another day and update my review accordingly!

I got a custom cake. It was delicious

Went there tonight and got a creme brulee donut, maple bacon donut, and napoleon. For a place that has great reviews, and for a bakery that looks beautiful, the items purchased were really disappointing. They all tasted old and stale (maybe because it was a couple hours before closing?). The donuts were hard and the creme started to get that gelatinous coating to it, when it gets old. Most likely wont be back.

Everything was very good and very fresh, just dont waste your money on the olive bread, it was good as bread goes, but nothing like Arthur Avenue.

She was annoyed by having to take care of me and seemed a bit ticked off that I was there in the early morning and asked her to write on a cake. Mind you... I was the only customer in the bakery!I had to take this cake to a baby reveal type party and was mortified once I got there and opened the box in front of all the guests ...when I saw how she had written on the cake, I was so embarrassed! It looked like it had been written by a 5 years old :(I paid $27 for a small rainbow cake which happen to be delicious but was botched by terrible writing penned by someone who was apathetic and rude.Spiga 1has a good reputation in our community with delicious baked goods.. However, the people behind your counter represent you. I would consider returning if in a pinch but wouldnt trust them with any special occasions anymore because of this specific experience.

Ordered a cake 4 days in advance, was told it would be ready at 2:00 pm today and they charged me in advance. I waited on line outside for 10 minutes following the 4 person max rule. When I finally get in I come to find out they cannot find my order. The staff tells me to give them 5 minutes to find it. I waited half an hour for them to make a brand new cake all while staff avoided me, ignored other customers, did not enforce the 4 person rule as customers piled in asking how they could get help since staff was hiding in the back. Staff also wore their masks only over their mouths while handling food. Finally the cake comes out- no apologies, no explanations and I had to ask to see it. Overpriced, poor customer service, lack of proper health and safety precautions. Will not be going back nor recommending to anyone else.

Spiga is the best bakery around. I have recently been going there for their ciabatta bread. Its always the bread that makes the sandwich. Excellent service (Jessica) great quality and prices.....try Spiga, you cant go wrong.The Ciabatta guy.

This place is awesome. Bought a cake to bring to a bbq and everybody loves it! Their cakes and everything is fresh and tastes great! Will certainly be back to try other things. Their new location is great as well.

So glad I found them. My husband is diabetic but has a sweet tooth. Their sugar free apple turnovers are the best Ive found on long island. Not a huge selection of options but what they do offer is quite tasty. Staff are nice too.

LOVEEEEE this place!!! Delicious baked goods. They have both single serving cakes as well that are decorated as nicely as the large ones and even bite site portions. The cookies from here are amazing as well, The staff is always knowledgeable about the product and very friendly.

In my opinion Spiga Bakery is the best bakery on Long Island all that items of fresh very tasty excellent cannoli cream now that they moved across the street have a little Pizza Corner which is out of this world as for the owners Luka and Rob they are a perfect gentleman and theyre very friendly to all the customers this place should be rated over 5 stars

I just had my one year wedding anniversary and we froze the top tier of our cake to eat a piece one year later....and oh my gosh...Amazingly soft and just as delicious as the day we said I do. The owner is very accomodating . It was a beautiful cake in which they used fresh flowers. It was awesome. Thanks Spiga.

Ive been here twice and both times the pastries were fresh and delicious! I also appreciated the fact that theres never a long line and Im always in and out.

This place is high quality, very tasty baked goods and coffee. It is expensive though, and after my wife and I spent close to 20 dollars on a couple of coffees and baked goods we both agreed that it was overpriced per the quality. As such while this is good products I would say it has poor value.

We purchased a 7 layer cake costing $27.00 from Spiga just yesterday to celebrate the birthdays of 3 family members. The cake was dry and stale. When we called today to let the bakery know, we were told Oh, I watched them making the cakes myself. How could that be?A simple Im so sorry that happened would have been nice. A refund or store credit would have been even better.So, thanks, Spiga for a gross, stale cake for our family celebration.Being Merrick residents, we would normally want to use our neighborhood vendors.Spiga will not be one of them.
