This is my third experience with Mattress Depot. The owner Shane was working when my friend and I walked in. We were on a limited budget and told him so. He was still polite, attentive, and thorough.My friend who needed the bed is 6’4 and not small-boned. Shane pointed out that the jump in quality from the price point in which we were looking to just a small amount more would make a world of difference to a larger person.Unfortunately the budget tonight was tight, but as we talked to Shane, he took the time to get to know my friend, rather than just try to sell us something. When he realized the very real medical needs that existed, (aside from just the importance of sleep), he offered a very generous discount and was able to help my friend get into a much better mattress than either of us would have thought possible, also throwing in some completely unexpected extras. Shane, your generosity is absolutely humbling.I recommend locally-owned Mattress Depot to anyone who sleeps, or thinks they may want to try sleeping. They run an excellent shop and will take good care of you.

Needed an upgrade from my twin size mattress. Bought a queen. The quality of the mattress was excellent! The service that was provided to me was even better. The price was almost half of what the mattress company next door was trying to sell it for. It was clear the mattress store beside them was taking advantage of people.I would do business with these guys again in a heart beat. The gentlemen gave me a discounted quote on a mattress that was below his posted retail price, and on top of it after chatting with him in the store for a bit, he gave me another price discount. Good people here which is hard to find now-a-days. Dont hesitate to stop by this store and check out the selection!

I had a very good experience here. The salesman was really helpful and we were able to find the right fit with in 10 minutes. Also the prices were very reasonable especially compared to nearby shops that were asking for several thousand dollars for a mattress. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

We checked out mattresses at other stores and settled on Mattress Depot in Bellingham because of their selection, customer service, and willingness to deliver right away. Also, their prices were very competitive. Shane shared good information with us about their exchange policy and we thought there was enough options for us if the one we purchased didnt work out. We were well taken care of and like the mattress we purchased.

I will definitely shop here again! Both Sean and Bill were very knowledgable about the product and tended to my needs thoroughly. After stopping by three other locations that day looking for the perfect mattress I came to Mattress Depot exhausted and unenthused about interacting with another pushy salesman - but that was not the case. Neither Bill nor Sean pressured me to make a purchase and both made sure I had all my questions answered before I left the store. If you’re finding yourself in the doom of mattress shopping look no further - these guys got you covered.

Bill and Shane were both a delight to work with. I initially settled upon a mattress that was too cheap, and wasnt good enough to solve my problem. That was my fault, because I was emphasizing economy. When it didnt work out, they took the mattress back, and they sold me a mattress that addressed my medical problem, and they made it affordable for me. Their suggestions for pillows really worked out too. I could have saved a lot of money on pillows over the years if Id gone to them first. They carry good products, and make intelligent suggestions to help customers find what they need. What really makes this work though, is that these are two guys who care about what they do.

I returned home from overseas deployment and found that my bedroom mattress was damaged in the shipment container. This forced to me shop for a good firm mattress at a reasonable cost. Most human beings spent half of their lives in bed; I am a disabled veteran; having had three back surgeries and a number of knee replacements, my ratio of being in bed is higher. I thought purchasing a firm mattress would be an easy task with all of the furniture stores and specialty mattress stores that were available in the Bellingham area. Little did I know this was going to be a nightmare in trying to purchase firm a mattress.My first purchase was a King Beautyrest Firm Fernwood coil and memory form mattress; after two weeks, the mattress had sagging indentions on both sides of the mattress as if a four-hundred pounder had used this mattress for years. When I phoned the store to tell them the problem, I was advised to crawl up the center of the mattress; I returned the mattressMy second purchased was a King Beautyrest Firm Fernwood mattress that seemed to had been remanufactured for it had a eighteen inch C-cut, an irregular stitching design patterns with different color of threads hang lose only at the top of the mattress with foam sticking out along the cut of the material; I returned mattress.My third purchased was a King Stearns and Foster Hurston Firm; but they delivered Stearns and Foster Hurston Plush. When I first laid on the mattress, the mattress turned cool but that experience never happened again The store ordered a mattress technician to inspect my mattress, we found that the labels were labeled wrong, it should had been a Stearns and Foster Hurston Firm not a Stearns and Foster Hurston Plush: I returned the mattress.I had reached my end; not being able to sleep over a period of time and in back pain. I learnt more about the mattress business than I wanted to know; I was tired and frustrated. I made one last stop at Mattress Depot.I met Bill and he shown me the firm mattresses he had on display that I tried; later I met Shane. These guys were simply outstanding with their customer service; they cared and they shown a sincerity and passion that is foreign in the market today. They were simply OUTSTANDING!!!Dr. Jones

I bought a mattress and box spring for the in laws, and one week later I didnt need it because they were not visiting. Everything was in original packaging and tried to return it, unused, because the website says they do refunds and it takes 3-5 days. The guy who is always working in the meridian location, bham WA, said no refunds the second we walked in and we said the website says you do returns and he said absolutely not, rudest sales person Ive ever dealt with. I also tried calling the 800 and told them what their site said REFUND POLICY, and they were just like that salesman rude and unhelpful. I hope no one gets swindled bythe awful company.

Beware. This is a privately owned franchise with zero customer service.I bought a mattress that felt good in the store, but when I got it home it just didnt feel right. With their sleep comfort guarantee I thought Id be okay, but I was sadly mistaken.Due to the limited selection and the RUDE attitude of the owner I am now stuck with a mattress thats worse than the one I was replacing (which is 16 years old). As an older disabled woman I am appalled and disappointed. I cant recall ever being treated so callously.Be Very Careful. Once they get money out of you theyre done.

Salesman was rude and extremely pushy. We told him our budget but were then lectured on how this is a major purchase and prices should be a factor in what you decide. Salesman kept shuffling us from one mattress to the next then began to talk about the homeless problem in bellingham. We did not purchase a mattress from them.

Outstanding service and excellent care thanks to Bill!Our Restonic king bed began developing an odd, deep dip in the middle. This dip was 4in deep and made it difficult to sleep well. We spoke with Bill and he walked us through applying for the warranty through Restonic (15 year warranty and weve owned it for less than 3 with no damage....). They denied the claim, saying it was not covered. Bill did everything he could and they refused to do anything despite our issue being covered under the warranty. He then had us apply with the mattress cover company. They too said no. Yet again, Bill went to bat for us (this has been an ongoing issue for 6 months now). When he was unable to make these companies actually honor the warranties they claim, he offered us the equivalent in store credit towards a new bed. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Bill and this company owed us nothing. They had our money and any other company would have shrugged and tried to make another sale. Instead, Bill is continuing to pursue this issue with these companies to make them see it is not acceptable to treat his customers in this way. I guarantee you we will only be doing business with Bill and Matress Depot. We will never, ever purchase Restonic again despite them being a local company.
