Someone must have been located above or below me in the computer system, and the employee chose the wrong person. Bought a used car here recently, and had a decent buying experience. Michael helped me out with my purchase. The service department is where most of my complaint came from. My car took a day longer than expected at both appointments I had, and I had to call both times in order to find out that my car wasnt going to be ready until the following day. No courtesy car was offered either

Called Bellingham Nissan for my 2004 Maxima, I spoke to a Justin there about setting up an appointment. I realized I didnt even know my own schedule so wasnt able to get anything booked today. BUT the interaction I had with Justin was kind and professional. he assured me that anytime I need to get work done on that beast of a machine of mine they would find a time that works for me. Because of Justin, I will definitely be taking my maxima there from now on.

After the work was completed, I left, but a short time later ran over something that caused a flat tire. I was able to return to the service department and was told that the tire was unrepairable. I left a couple of hours later with a new set of tires and was able to make my ferry reservation to Friday Harbor. Kudos to all at the Bellingham Nissan service department.

I recently purchased a car and worked with JR. I felt that he was helpful in looking through options however when it came to the purchase of the car I shared I felt uncomfortable while there and pressure tactics such as lying, gaslighting and blaming between staff were used. This unfortunately wasnt my first bad experience with Bham Nissan however Id hoped the new owner would promote improvement but didnt feel much had changed.Upon leaving I was left with a car basically on E, only one key fob (disclosed only after sale) and a broken car plate. The service department did help with the plate but in interaction with JR he recommended i pay for the issue which I found to be extremely poor customer service.I gave a star for the service team. Theyve been very helpful in the past.

A lot of things can improve. For one not trying to force people into empty warranties that your dealership refuses to take care of when needed. Handing maintenance issues to other dealerships shows your unprofessionalism. Another thing is to not tell customers that you will perform services, such as detailing, on the vehicles they purchased from you, and not performing the services as stated, lie and say they were done before, when they weren’t, and basically waste a customer’s day waiting. Also while we’re on lies, trying to tell a customer that the vehicle was inspected, and the customer goes somewhere to confirm, just to find that oil hadn’t been changed, air filter hadn’t been changed, and a very clear leak that should have been fixed before putting on your lot. It’s a shame that honesty doesn’t exist at this dealership. Great sales person, but terrible management.
