A couple years ago we got a good deal on a dining room table that was on sale. The normal price would have been a little too high. I just recently visited to buy an axe, but found spending $20.00 on a rusty old axe with a bad handle not a good idea. They were unwilling to work with me on the price. Maybe they will sell the axe when they have a sale.

So much fun looking over all the treasures, my sister found a beautiful painting and I found a very cute little plaque. Both at great prices and they had the most gorgeous antique dresser but I was driving my little car and it wouldnt fit also it was my third Trip up to My sisters in Bellingham and my third Trip to Penny Pinchers, so you can see, its a must stop place on my trips that direction. Great finds awesome prices.

I am so incredibly disappointed with my customer service experience. I was there for less than a minute when the red curly haired kid that works there became confrontational and I had to leave. Story: My boyfriend and I are resllers and are always looking for new places to source. We went to Penny Pinchers today because we were driving by, saw the big sign amd decided to check it out. We walked in the door, my boyfriend had forgot to put his mask on, this employee mentioned walked up to him and said he needed to put on his mask, kindly, at first. My boyfriend had only said, This mandated mask wearing is getting tiresome AS HE WAS PUTTING HIS MASK ON. This kid decided to berate my bf and tell him that if he hears one more word from him about wearing a mask, hell kick him out. We just turned around and walked out. We werent refusingto wear a mask, I had already had mine on. We spend A LOT of money at stores with good customer service, this is not one of them.

This is a fun place to go thru. Its almost like a garage sale on steroids. Theres several rooms and an outdoor area so lots to look at. Some things are very reasonably priced, some things are quite high. I got some pretty blue glassware and a cute birdhouse. Fun!

We just happened to be passing by. Since we love browsing in antique and estate sale outlets we turned around to check it out. This place did not disappoint. It has EVERYTHING! Ended up spending at least an hour looking, and bought much fewer things than I would have if I had had room in our car.

My husband I love this place going there every weekend there be something different you would be amazed I should check it out you never know what youre going to find the prices arent terrible and the people are friendly to go check it out

Such a great store. Sooooo many things! Tons of stuff to go through. Spent a couple hours here for our first time. Tons of outdoor stuff, indoor items, furniture, lamps and so much more. There are not a lot of antique stores with this quality for the price!! Must che k it out if youre in the area! Staff was extremely helpful and so nice!

Went in yesterday cause its usually one of my favorite antique stores in Bellingham, but right when i walked inside the employee at the door was completely maskless and coughing. i walked around for a few minutes and the employee did not put her mask on at all, even when customers were checking out less than a foot away from her. i put my stuff down and left. i don’t want to give money to businesses that blatantly disregard their customers’ health and safety. there is a sign at the entrance that says “don’t make us ask, wear a mask” but apparently that doesn’t apply to their employees.

When I saw penny pinchers I thought it was talking about for the customers.... Literally everything here is overpriced....its value village quality and they expect way too much....like...not just wow but WOW!!! first AND LAST time I will ever set foot in this place... At least when you buy from goodwill/value village some money goes to charity... Hopefully these people will start letting the customers pinch pennies instead of doing all the penny pinching!! LMAO what a joke...

Little gem of a store. I am always excited to go here. They have so many cool things. Great prices and you even get lunch card for more savings later on. They have holiday room/crafting and sewing supplies. I recommend this place to everyone.

The traded my belt buckle for the one I wanted straight across.

We loved it. So many things are there but living full time in an RV, not much room for much of it. Was so cool to see so many cool items.

They have a very good selection of things in the very back. I think they weigh by the pound. It is nice to go there and take your time to browse around, because it will be a lot cheaper to find items there then to spend five or $10 at the hardware store for new items. The one thing I did not like was that there were Playboy magazines for sale in the back. It seemed a little odd, and made me feel uncomfortable as a father for my kids to see that. But all in all, it is a great store. And it beats Goodwill in pricing for a lot of things.

I would love this place but the prices are way too high. They do have great stuff though.

Nice staff, interesting collection of stuff. But like any place like this you MUST go often and poke around. I found some great things up high on a shelf for instance.

I loved this store , I could have spent hours looking through all the little trinkets. Things were fairly priced and I will be back soon.

The little store dog Fly is the sweetest door greeter Ive encountered.

I was excited to check this place out. The outside was fun and made it look like it was filled with treasures. I entered and found that the store was well organized and that the fun, humorous exterior moved to the interior too. But I was unhappy to see that the prices were ridiculously inflated. They were completely beyond what I expected for used and salvaged products. While there were a number of things I would have loved to take home with me, I was unwilling to pay the prices they wanted. This is a hip, fun used goods store that plays some amazing music...loud. I loved that part of it. Unfortunately I love buying the salvaged goods more. I wont return but its a fun experience and you may want to try it.

This place has a great selection of everything. They have all kinds of random sales. The people who own the place and work there are awesome to work with. Had a great time shopping here.

Prices are horrendous, only go if you have a big wallet.

Some good deals to be found. A little unorganized. I personally think the restore in Bellingham is a better for bigger items. But if you are looking for nicknacks and project pieces there could be some Jems here for you.

Its got lots of junk. Lots of nice furniture that needs to be rescued. The staff is helpful and tries to keep stuff moving. I seem to spend at least a hour every time I visit. I almost find at least one thing I can do without, but am happy to buy any way.

Although interesting, I think the owners are the penny pinchers...the prices leave an impression like they don’t want to sell what they have in store.

This place has a lot of cool things. I would love to go and just wander around and find things that Id love to buy. I recommend this place for anyone who might be looking for time to kill and wants something to do.

I always like to stop at this estate sale shop on my way back from BC. I always take the Lynden Border crossing both coming & going. I always manage to find a little treasure and today I got to sit & cuddle with the super cute doggie, Fly. Hes like a chiwahwah (sorry, dont know how to spell it correctly) with a terrier curly hair coat. The proprietress was very nice and I enjoyed our conversation. There is something for everyone at this thrift shop.

Updated review:I have been by many times lately and always find something fun, the inventory rotates quickly, so you never know what you’ll find. The owner is helpful and friendly. This is becoming a favorite regular stop.

This place is amazing!!

Clean and well organized, with a good selection. Theres some treasures to be found for sure, however 90% of everything they have is way too overpriced. The prices are so high its kind of insulting. They must be doing good though as theyve been open for awhile now and the parking lot always seems full. I usually skip this place unless I need a good laugh.

Stop here every time we go north of Bellingham. Half off room and bargains thru out the store require hunting but always some good prices and unique items. Check the outdoor tool area off the side of the building for your man cave.

Great. I found a oven 16 drip pan at a reasonable price that I couldnt locate the last six months at any store in Whatcom county.
