Dr. Mamiya is straightforward, an open listener, attentive to your concerns as a patient and willing to think outside the box to help. Part of this might just be gratitude for being able to hear and have an improved quality of life, but she has done research and personally reached out to help answer questions and provide solutions for making my life easier with this adjustment. The office staff are very kind, and exceed expectations for responsiveness and accessibility.

I could not recommend Dr Miller and the staff highly enough! I was referred to PAC for Hearing test, and brought in my hearing aids I had purchased in Florida which were not working. Because I am on a limited budget, she didn’t push me to buy new hearing aids, but repaired my old ones on the spot! In addition to her kindness, she is very knowledgeable and skilled, and communicated every step of the process to me. To be honest, I was blown away by the superior service I received at my appointment. Highly recommend Dr Miller!

Dr. Mamiya listens and educates you. Specific to my situation, she indicated that if I didnt wear my hearing aids, my hearing loss would continue unabated - which changed my behavior. She also worked with me to identify the right hearing aid for me. Her staff has been great and the overall experience has been very professional, including being on time for appointments! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

PAC AudiologyWe initially met Dr Mamiya at the annual misophonia conference in Denver 2019. She is located in Bellvue, we are 90 miles north in Bellingham. My wife made an appointment for our eldest daughter who was diagnosed in 2016 Marsha Johnson in Portland. It has been hard for us. Family dinners basically impossible. We got in to see Dr Mamiya in October and our lives have changed. We now can have family dinners. My daughter is more tolerant of many triggers and doesn’t simply go ballistic before anything can be changed. She is no longer basically in tears when I scratch my chin stubble while driving and she is in the front passenger seat. Dr Mamiya’s treatment with specialized white noise hearing devices has taken her from severe to mild by her rating system. Her technique and data collection appear as objective as one can get with a soft science like this involving people. I was just telling her that I would have happily traveled across the country a few times a year to help my otherwise daughter who plays club soccer, gets strait As, and participates in numerous school clubs and is VP of her grade in student government. This disorder was crippling, it is down to inconvenient and I am hopeful it will be downgraded to occasional nuisance under her care. Results may vary, my daughter is highly motivated and has been using the aides almost 12 hours a day and doing breathing/meditation exercises. I am thrilled. The office itself is quite professional and has been easy to deal with. 5/5 stars!

I highly recommend PAC Audiology, especially Dr. Yoko Miller with children. She was amazing- patient, considerate, knowledgeable and fun. More importantly you can tell she is passionate about what she does. She was excited to respond to a childs questions and explain things. Oftentimes places interact with children as if if their questions are a nuisance or if kids are not intelligent, sentient beings. The staff at PAC interactions feel like that of a gracious host. I wish more establishments could be this way.

They have a great system in place, the doctors are so kind and caring and gentle. They inform you about every step in the process and show you all your options. Not pushy or pressuring. I loved going and I love my new earplugs. I definitely recommend PAC Audiology. Thank you for helping my hearing and protecting me from early hearing loss!

I was trying to figure out what hearing aids were best for my specific needs, and I am extremely happy with having finally gone to PAC Audio.I wanted hearing aids that could really work well for my activities, which include playing piano, singing, and listening to music (all of which can be very much helped or very much hindered by wearing hearing aids).I had the option of Costco hearing aids, or of going for a more expensive and more recent model at a regular hearing aid provider. However, to make a good choice meant being able to actually try and compare different hearing aids in my specific contexts. And that is very difficult to achieve! Generally hearing aid providers dont let you take a hearing aid home for a trial period, other than by committing up front, then returning them within a month, following the Washington State rules. But most audiologists then charge a restocking fee of about $300. The only alternative is Costco, with their generous return policy, but then you can only test out one pair, and it is of course one of their models which are based on less recent technology...At PAC Audio, things are quite different. They let you take hearing aids home on a weeks trial without charge. And if you decide to go ahead, but then change your mind before the one month deadline they refund completely without charging a restocking feelIn addition Dr Mamiya, the audiologist, was extremely helpful and generous with her time, with my many requests to try to find the best choice of hearing aid and the best configuration... Much appreciated!

Found PAC through searching and recommendation. PAC has an excellent staff that treats you like family. Anna, owner and audiologist put your well being first. Very knowledgeable and saved me from a lot of grief I had with other places. Very unusual for a place to think about being as easy as possible on your pocket book. You just cant go wrong at PAC and seeing Anna. Been to three different places before and all it did was drain my pocket book and go no where. Anna is the best.

This was my first time looking into hearing aids, so naturally I did not know what to expect. Well, Dr. Mamiya clearly explained the entire procedure including the biology of my hearing loss. The one week trial period allowed me to experience what wearing hearing aids would be like. It was very ear opening! The various models of the hearing aid along with the attendant prices was fully explained up front. No surprises. Dr. Mamiya was recommended to me by a friend and likewise, I would heartily recommend Dr. Mamiya to family, friends and acquaintances. Her staff is very helpful, relaxed and friendly. All in all, this is a very well run practice.

I got a pair of custom-made earplugs for my motorcycle rides. They have turned out to be the best thing. I dont get ear ringing anymore after each ride, and they are so comfortable that I can wear them for hours without soreness. I use them also when using power tools and traveling on an airplane. They cut down noises so well and have made huge differences in my life.

I started losing my hearing 3 years before I found PAC. I was misdiagnosed initially and struggled throughout those 3 years. Circumstance brought me to this establishment. Dr. Mamiya took the time to explain to me how hearing works, why my initial diagnosis doesnt make sense, and went over my recent hearing test. She understood my sense of fear and frustration, and recommended 2 hearing aids. My hearing and quality of live have improved ever since. I am not even 40 and the struggle with hearing loss is real. PAC makes it less scary. I am very grateful to have found this place!!!!

Anna is very meticulous, and patient. She extends herself to provide hands-on care, and does everything she can to help the person receiving her care understand the procedures, and technology. She was stellar working with our 89 year old mother, who struggles to comprehend new technology, and has a rare stricture of the ear canal. Thanks Anna, for your warmth and persistence.

Great place to go if you have any hearing issues or if you simply would like to learn how our hearing functions work (or how we hear sounds).I booked one of the Free Workshops about 2 month ago. The audiologist explained how our ears work. After the workshop, I took a hearing test. The result was worse than I thought - I now know why I had a hard time to hear sounds and voices around me. The audiologist explained what my current hearing level is, what I can do about it, what her opinions are about it, etc. with simple words, not medical terms or large vocab.PAC offers 2-week hearing aids trial with free of charge! The hearing aids I borrowed were one of the newest ones. After the 2 weeks, I decided to purchase a pair. Now, they told me that 30-days 100% money back guarantee policy. If you change your mind within 30 days from the date you received the device, they will give you all money you paid for your hearing aids back to you. Yes, 100%. I have heard that many clinics takes some charges although they say 100% money back. However, PAC never takes your money if you return the device as it is.Also, another good thing is that they will take care of you well. During the 30 days, you can come in as many times as you need (or want) to adjust your hearing aids for you. Clearly, their priority is customer satisfaction. After you decide to keep your hearing aids after the 30 days, they are yours; however, the audiologist will help you to take care of your hearing aids every 3 months or so to make sure your hearing aids stay longer years with you - cleaning, changing tubes, checking conditions, etc.Very relaxing atmosphere and yet very welcoming. The person at the reception is also very kind, nice and friendly, but she has a great business manner as well.PAC will listen to you and your story to give you the best possible services. The audiologist is also hard-of-hearing. So, she understands both cultures, hearing culture and HoH/Deaf culture.I strongly recommend you if you have any doubts about your hearing functions or if you have any questions about ears in general. Easy to book - just find them online and email them or the online booking system!

I have been seeing Dr. Mamiya for treatment of my hyperacusis (everyday sounds are intolerable to me). I was referred to her for specialty care as my primary care doctor and my ENT did not know how to handle my problem. Dr. Mamiya is extremely knowledgeable about the symptoms I am suffering. She is thorough and explains everything in a simple and respectful way. There are offices in both Seattle and Bellevue, which is very convenient. Scheduling is easy and flexible and the office staff are always so sweet and helpful. PAC Audiology has been a total lifesaver. I highly recommend this provider!
