Very extensive selection and very helpful staff prices though are very high. A very nice store but not a cheap one. Some of the merchandise is very hard to find and probably worth the money but easily prices here are two to three times what they are at Jo-Anns or some of the other larger stores. And only twice as high as many of the smaller stores

Helpful staff and lots of selection.I went in looking for fabric to use on the back side of a needlepoint pillow. The clerk helped me find several possible fabrics and colors much more quickly than I would have going them on my own.

Took a Sewing Machine 101 class here with Peggy and she is wonderful. She knows so much about her craft and is a great teacher. If you have any issues, she probably has a trick for you. Class was fun and I learned how to use a sewing machine. I made a great little button hole too!

Love this store. I am a quilter and they carry many interesting, high quality fabrics. Of course some clerks are more helpful than others, I always have a good experience there. Also, I can drop off my donated quilts for Project Linus at Pacific Fabrics. Quite convenient for me to get to from Newcastle.

The staff are super helpful, and I’ve always been able to find the right fabric for my projects. Even though it’s near downtown Bellevue, plenty of parking is available. Always great to support a local business!

Tried several classes through them over the years. The teachers were often no show. Theyd cancel classes if there were 3 or less participating individuals. Id sign up for a class only to realize it wasnt beginner it was advanced beginner. Classes were often not described in enough detail and I frequently placed my self in the wrong class level. There are zero refunds on classes even if it was partially on them. I tried returning a few things over the years and they have a horrible refund process. It generally is classified as store credit. Id sign up for classes and be offered a refund due to class cancellation. Id show up early and be told to wait in the lobby which was basically the shop. They would not open class doors until teacher showed up if at all. If you required a little more attention teachers would give snooty attitude about teaching the basics. Even if you signed up for a beginner, beginner class. This is why I stopped supporting Pacific Fabrics.Staff can either be really helpful or not so helpful. I found the more times I shopped here the uniqueness of the fabric choices were less and less. I use to purchase batting by the bulk and was shorted several times because they refused to fully measure it and charged full price. When I asked them to remeasure it it was too late because I took it home and they thought I was had cut some off. No they shorted me.I provided them business for about five years then found the quilt shop in Issaquah. I may have learned the basics here but I took my business to the Issaquah Quilt shop because the customer service was better and I could take more classes and feel I gained a decent amount of knowledge for the class I signed up for. Plus I like the free sewing periods that allow me to work on projects that I other wise would not have the time for.Is their google map location right? I thought they were on the other side of town? Quilt Works NW is here. I hate to say it but Im glad theyre closing.

So terribly sad! First the Northgate store closed, now this store. Now I will have to go to the SoHo store for fashion fabrics and laces & trims. Im a garmet sewer. Ive always been impressed with the fabric choices especially at the Northgate store and the knowledgeable staff.

Knowledgeable staff and higher quality apparel fabrics than other nearby fabric stores. Carries specialty fabric dyeing chemicals that other stores do not. OK trims selection, would be nice to have some place around here to buy rayon Petersham instead of polyester Grosgrain but thats a total nitpick.

Im a knitter so I went looking for yarn. For a craft store they did have a nice little selection of yarn. I was able to find one skein. They had lots of Noro - but they also had lion brand yarns, which doesnt really gel with what I consider luxury yarn store yarn. Its not bad yarn - its just not what you normally see. They had a comfy spot to sit and knit. They also had a ton of fabric. If I sewed I think I would have been in hog heaven. The ladies were also very nice to me. Very busy with the fabric end of things - but very, very nice. And thats important!

Call me old-fashioned, but I was always taught to greet customers when they decide to walk in your door and spend time and possibly money at your business. Its just a good business practice.I walked in during a quiet part of the morning, was not greeted or acknowledged in any way. The staff were busy gossiping about personal things. Yet, every single person who walked in after me was greeted, a couple were asked about their projects. The rest of the time I browsed, I had to listen to one of the staff members give the other a rather detailed description of giving birth to her son 43 years ago, whose birthday was today, right down to the deep episiotomy.Really? Thats supposed to be appropriate and professional in a fabric store, or any other non-medical business for that matter?1 star for no greeting. 5 stars for a well-organized and clean store. 0 stars for the way-too-personal TMI story. Not only did I not find what I was looking for, I came away with a mental image I most certainly was NOT looking for.

This store has a terrible return policy. Unlike Joann Fabrics, Ben Franklin, Nancys Notions, etc., the store will not allow you to return patterns. The stated reason is concern over copyright, but if that is the reason, what allows their competitors to accept these returns? The policy is noted in fine print at the cash register, but seeing as how Ive never had trouble returning or exchanging a pattern at any other store, I never thought to look or ask for their policy - nor was it offered to me verbally, as is the case in many stores where you buy something on clearance, for example, that is not returnable. Needless to say, I am now stuck with a pattern I have no use for, but I will not be returning to this store.

I needed to replace the zipper slider for my daughters jacket. The cost of getting the slider in Woodinville was more than cost of jacket and so based on some Facebook recommendations (Thank you neighbors!!!), I went to Pacific Fabrics in Bellevue. The store manager, Alice, promptly helped us by selecting the right slider for the jacket. Not only that, she also replaced the slider professionally, quickly and with a smile. The total bill was less than $2 and the jacket was rescued. I wholeheartedly recommend Pacific Fabrics for any repair supplies and above all for their super helpful staff.

I will not be shopping here again. The salesperson I was working with was supposed to call me when she found out whether or not the fabric I needed to complete my quilt was able to be reordered from the manufacturer. 4 + months later, I had to call. The gentleman I spoke with was nice, but when Diane came on the phone, she was snippy and rude. Apparently, the fabric could not be reordered, and she forgot to notify me about it, but somehow tried to blame me. Save yourselves a trip.
