Ugh. I go here once a year to buy fabric for my kids Halloween costumes. I dread the process. I spend 5 minutes picking out the fabric and 45 minutes waiting for them to cut and price it. Its not that there are huge numbers of people in line in front of me (like 10 on the worst day). Its that the staff members they always have working the fabric section are painfully slooooow.

JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts is an excellent source for pandemic crafting supplies and ideas. While the folks who cut material are super friendly and knowledgeable, the store is the basic big box experience. It is not the higher end better staffed smaller inventory Redmond Ben Franklin. Today the door into the mall was shut most likely for security due to lack of staff and customers from the mall. There was a below normal but significant number of customers in the store. There were so many bargains! Lots of new merchandise at reduced prices. Lots of closeout merchandise at even bigger discounts. They not only had a big Halloween section..but are already showing some Christmas merch. The have toys and fun things for everyone in the family.

This morning I went there to get some zipper repair kit but when I tried to pay I asked to the cashier where to pay and with a bad mood she gave me the instructions but she was so rude. I try to pay with $20 dollars bill and she told me that we should pay with exact amount due to national short coin.... ,🙄 come on!! US government already put in circulation millions of coins.. just a good excuse to do nothing at work... Unbelievable!!! Time of visit 10:30am

Really good fabric store. Crafts and house decor are very expensive here compared to Michaels but you will NOT beat the deals they have on fabric. If you shop wisely you can save a lot of money. For everything else watch JoAnns weekly adds sometimes they have 50 percent of design stock paper for card making. I have saved over 300 dollars catching that sale. Good customer service, knowledgeable people. Pets allowed in the store.

I can’t say much about the store since today was my first time visiting it. I needed puff paint for a unique reason and she was very accommodating and extremely helpful. I was amused at the cashier is trying to decide who is going to check me out. I hope they do that for everyone and not just disabled customers.

I love Joanns. I do alot of crafts and they always have what you need and maybe some ideas too. Store is clean and if you do have a chance of running into staff they can help you. Most of them knows where everything is even if you dont know how to pronounce the item correctly.lol

The store has really big amount of fabrics of all types. It is amazing. The prices are a bit high unless you get some who are on discount. However, the staff are not very friendly and they are very few. I searched the whole store to find someone to ask him.

Nice place for hobby /DIY and in general craft/clothing/furnishing and decoration items. Wide range, suitable rates for all age groups. Must visit.

Priced somewhat on the high end, but great selection, with everything from yarn and baking supplies to accessories, home decor, and fabrics. Its fun to look through the store for inspiration. And they usually always have a 50% off a regular-priced item that can be found online.

There is a great selection of craft items. I went in for a couple of buttons and ended up with silicone molds too.

A nice place to find seasonal craft items for your home. I think they have everything crafty except for candle making. The place is not very organized although some parts of the store is. Its hard to find somebody who can help you if you are looking for a specific item. And of you find a a staff, they are usually busy. Some staff need customer service skills.

Lots of fabrics available. Sometimes can be a wait for the cutting, about 10 mins. Better to go during off hours, early weekdays for no wait. Sign up for the JoAnn app for random coupons and free $5 off $5+ purchases. They take competitors coupons. If they dont have what you want, just go across the street to Michaels. Price check whatever youre buying. Sometimes its cheaper on Amazon or Michaels despite using coupons.

My favorite fabric store, I buy their minkee fabrics when they go on sale. I bought some cute mesh and made a wedding veil for a friend for just a couple of dollars.

The woman that was cutting the netting, I asked if she had a rubber band for 10 yards of netting. She told me rubber bands were for in store use only, then proceeded to put one around the netting. She was kind of snippy. My mother- in -law had asked her about a zipper. She needed a color and size and she wasnt helpful till I went over to the zippers to see what I could find. They only had one person at the registers for about 5 of us waiting in line. Not too impressed with the Crossroads Jo Annexe.

Store is clean and nice. Seems Covid is still having an impact here. Low on staff. I found what I was looking for, so I was glad they still have what I need.

I want to say nice things about this location because the team is awesome and I love them. I worked here for a year during covid. I had to leave because it was becoming hell.They took away our hazard pay around beginning of 2021 even though most of us werent eligible for vaccination. The old manager was promoted and left (good for her, she deserved it). They didnt promote the person under her that wanted the job, that she trained for the job, that kept us at a grade A- they moved her to a whole other store and are bringing in some person who has never worked at a Joanns and seems to think hes the new sherif in town - this store received an A grade. It doesnt need a sherif, it needs somebody who can guide people.The new Assistant Manager sounds nice and I feel bad for her. The crew is all leaving. They took away hazard pay, didnt hire new staff after a few people left, and decided to tack on more tasks. They are making us keep track of emails asked for, we dont want to ask you for your email.Yes, the lines take forever- because we have 3 people in the whole building and if we have more, theyre stocking or fulfilling online orders. It really isnt their fault. If you must go to this store, please be nice to the employees, they really are trying their best, but since the mall door opened theft is rampant, and the bathrooms are disgusting, and there is only a skeleton crew.Also, the Micheals across the street has some fabric. Hopefully they treat their people better.I dont care if this gets me blacklisted. The only way Id go back is to help somebody on the team.

People here generally are really helpful and go the extra way for the customer. While buying supplies for fake packaging, an employee gave me the nice bags another product came in on the house(it was technically going to be thrown away but just mint clear envelopes) . Really helped finish a big project for me coincidentally.

This JOANN had large canvas, which I havent found anywhere else, and the staff is friendly. There was no primary red liquitex, and no way to check supplies or order more. 2/3 canvases were damaged, but they did discount the canvas I purchased with a small chip in the gesso. There was only one container of gesso, and it was small, so I had to order more elsewhere. Its a good place to get small craft supplies and childrens crafts and games. They had an impressive collection of science kits!

Assistant helpful in holding last bolt of Hannakah fabric for mask client! Counter and checkout assistants very helpful and friendly. Spacious store for large selection of flannel and cottons as well as for social distancing. Great day!

I love joanns! What i do NOT love is when there employees think there slick and secretly follow you around the store. Completely ruins my shopping experience and makes me not want to even give them my money. But they got great products!

Not sure if its because of Black Friday but the associates are not very friendly! The lady who cut our fabric spent most of her time talking to her co-worker. And the lady at the register didnt even greet us or say anything... But other than that, everything was fast and easy to find.

I actually went in to have my knives and scissors sharpened by Northwest Sharpening. For 3 scissors and 6 knives, with tax, cost $30! Thank you Joann for hosting them!!

I like the store. However, I feel like the collections isn’t as vast as it was about a couple of years ago. Lots of parking and alternative crafts shops nearby in case the item you were looking for wasn’t in stock.

My daughter was bullied today by the employee because she was wearing a shield. That happened after we left the store for 5 minutes and came back in. The cashier called security and was rude and condescending. Even strangers had to step in. We have been shipping there for years but will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

I asked the lady about zipper sizes And she had no clue.then walked away. Bad customer service

Great for artificial flowers, seasonal decor and fabrics. Check for coupons and you may find yourself some hefty bargains.The issue? This store does not have enough staff to support the flow of people going through it. I actually feel bad for the employees as they seem kind of panicky and attempt to rush. They are very nice if youre able to locate someone for a question.Crossroads Joanns- get your team some additional help, please.

Neither could I find fabric for curtains nor did they had stitched variety curtains. Highly disappointed! :(

I shop at this particular Joann at least once per week only because of proximity & I am so frustrated with how this place is run. Will is apparently the manager but he is incompetent at his job. I sent someone to pick up my online order & after cluelessly looking around Will sent us with the wrong order--he never even asked for an order confirmation number. We live an hour away. After realizing the mistake, I called the store & asked for them to sort out their mistake. The first gal on the phone was very helpful & when I asked for a partial refund on my order she understood & said she needed to get manager approval. Will came on the phone & could not seem to come up with a resolution to fix his own mistake. After a back and forth exchange for 10 minutes, he agreed to refund my order for the inconvenience & loss of my time for his mistake. Upon going back to the store, Will was unable to figure out how to process a refund. He was totally clueless & was not helpful in any capacity. We walked out of the store without receiving the refund he promised us because we had already wasted so much time. Joann should seriously reconsider their management if this guy is running the show. He has terrible people skills, problem solving abilities, and should not be in charge of serving customers.

Jo Anns stores near me have closed down, so I usually visit Lynnwood these days. This was my first time at this store. Its quite well set out; as you enter, youll find fabric to the left, with a huge selection of fake flowers to your right (some as head bands, such as bridesmaids wear). They also have a large variety of wedding products (from guest books to hanging lights, and decorations, including arches and aisle runners).We had some trouble locating buttons (for a costume my daughter is making for Sakura-Con), but we found lace and ribbons quite easily. The young lady who served us at the fabric counter, was very helpful.We met a friend who was buying some items for costumes for Comic Con.All in all, a great place for costume-making items, and sewing products.

Very friendly staff who can help you find exactly what you need.Stop by the cutting desk to get custom-cut fabrics from their HUGE selection, as well!But cutting fabric sometimes takes awhile due to the long lines, so budget the right amount of time when you go.

I only stepped inside the mall entrance and spend fifteen minutes waiting for Hubby to shop another store. I never.left the first two aisles. Looking across the other items offered for sale, I was hooked on this store. I wish it was closer to my home on Ohio. Ours arent nearly this impressive. Ill be back!

Getting online orders from this store is a nightmare. You’ll never get your orders. It took them 2 weeks to cancel my order. Went into the store today. Got there at 4:10. Pulled number 67 because they close at 5 and the cutting counter was packed. 6 people cutting. One lady getting fabric cut was at the counter the ENTIRE TIME we were at the store. I’m convinced she had 1 of every bolt of cotton they had. But they can’t control that. What this store CAN and does NOT control, however, is that once people got to the cutting counter, they ran back to the shelves 10-15 times to grab MORE things to cut. Each person was taking 20-30 minutes to get cut! The last 5-6 numbers (me included) had less than 3 things to get cut. It took them 45 seconds total to cut my fabric. It’s not safe to have people in the store at all, this store is disgusting outside of pandemic times, but when 10 people have to stand around waiting for 3 people to take forever to get cut, it’s inefficient, it’s unsafe and it doesn’t make sense. Also - I know you don’t “have” to go to stores right now. But options are limited. Plan your visits and don’t run back to the shelves while you’re getting cut!!

Good inventory bad customer service. Very dismissive.

The store was open only for pick up only. You would call and they would bring your item out. I called 11 time. 8 of the calls it rang but no one answered. The rest was busy. After 15 minutes a worker was leaving and I asked the person locking the door of anyone was even working. Two ladies had been waiting for their otters longer than me but they had got a hold of some one inside. Thier orders were not brought out. This worker took our names and had our orders to us in just a few minutes. It was totally unnecessary for us to be waiting that long.

Perfect place for a rainy day to fill in the trunk with more stuff to keep you busy at home on another rainy day.

Dont come and kill me but employees were meeann it just made me really uncomfortable being around them except theres really nice lady named elle or something also they didnt have lots of stuff I was looking for and it was just simple fabric there was also a really nice Asian lady but the other three employees seemed kind of mean and I felt very uncomfortable being there overall the store is nice its bit confusing because not all the aisles are are marked with what they have even though some of them are marked with one or two of the things in the aisle anyway I would go again if I needed something I knew they had and I could only get it from there...

Large fabric selection, very pleasant staff. Long way from my home, but it was worth the drive! Abbey was great!

Did a pick up, parked on the wrong side of the store unknowingly. Waited 20 minutes for a curbside pick up. Called again and they said “oh! You should have driven to the other side.” As though I should have known. My number was on the order. I was so frustrated!!

This Joanns is stinking awesome! Of course things are always on sale and there are lots of coupons, but the people at this store were all really nice (well, mostly. One lady kinda sucked, but everyone else was helpful, polite, and friendly). The selection of items was also great - much bigger and better stocked than my usual store. I came in for one item and left over $200 later - what a bargain! Clean store and well-lit. I wish they had a self-scanner for price checks, but I just bugged the employees and they checked for me.

Its a big store, with lots of crafty things. The customer service was stellar during my visit. Someone helped me find what I was looking for, and the cashier honored a coupon from their website which wasnt working properly.

I like this place because its a great place to find products for almost any craft you can imagine, and u can get sweet discounts with the coupons. These things make it deserve 3 stars. The people who work there are almost all incredibly sweet, which gives the place another star.Only 4 stars total because this particular location of Joann is really inefficiently spread out -- there are often just random piles of things in middle of the aisles throughout; also they have INCREDIBLY slow fabric by the yard employees -- I spent an HOUR waiting to get 5 pieces of fabric cut, when there were only 2 people ahead of me in line to start with (1 item and 2 items cut, respectively).

This one is situated in Bellevue Mall.I was wowed by this place.I have never seen something like this in India.This store is like chocolate factory to everyone whos interested in art and craft.What I like the most is, They also provide pamphlets along with the products, so that anyone can make awesome art.Keep up the good work.Definitely visit again.

Beautiful fabrics and excellent staff to help you with any problems. Prices might be a bit higher than other large fabric retailers but having a staff to help with any questions is well worth it. The selection for variety of materials could be a bit more in the curtain material and other decor departments. Its downtown but large lot for parking. All-in-all, great store, and really enjoy shopping here.

Drove out of our way to pick up one thing that is only carried here. It was opened and spilled all over me. Store needs tighter organization and stocking.

They didnt have what I was looking for (merengue powder). Its a couple weeks before Christmas and they are really picked over. There were some good sales on but it was stuff I didnt need. The sales person had a lovely singing voice--she was singing along to the Christmas music playing in the store. Its nice when people enjoy what they are doing. All the salespeople were helpful and friendly. The store was bright and clean. Things were pretty well organized. Its a nice store.

Mostly clean and there was a sale on design boxes. Customer service was ok.

Super disappointed with the lack of customer service in this location. The manager appears to be more concerned with chatting then actually working (my family, including young child and infant had to wait over 15 minutes for her to finish a conversation before she would cut our fabric). Never shopping at this location again.

The girl who helped me was so sweet. We were having a hard time finding what I was looking for and in the end we didnt, but she really tried! Great service!

Saw an item I wanted on Joanne’s website and found out that this store may have some stock. I then called to check for the item to make sure (which they confirmed they had) and asked them to place an item on hold for 24 hrs (which they also agreed to do). When I got to the store today to purchase the item, one of the staff/supervisors said that they’re not even allowed to place items on hold but they would check anyway. They came back to me telling me that they DID NOT HAVE the item.I am very furious about the customer service of this store because I drove an hour to get to there just to find out that the item is nowhere to be found. Furthermore, I asked to talk to a manager but the manager was apparently too “busy” doing something else to hear my complaint. This trip was a huge waste of time, gas and effort.

Yes, it’s a large store with a large selection available. My three star review is based primarily on the staff. Who are perfectly adequate. Friendly enough. Helpful enough. But not outstanding. Not “make me drive out of my way to visit this location” good.

Employees were helpful and kind. This is the first time I have ever been to this store and I will definitely come back if I need art supplies.I got some really neat looking fabric for a art project I am working on for school.My one tip is always see if there is a coupon available for the store. I got a 50% off one from their website.

Fabrics! Frames! Threads! Crafting stuffs and whatnot...They have a huge selection of the items mentioned above. Price is reasonable considering you dont have to wait for delivery and shipping (if youre in a rush) and you can get some deals on clearances and closeout sales.

Fabric counter still has a long line but check out was quick. Theres lots of Fall home decor on sale right now.

I used to come here for jewelry findings and related items, but recently their jewelry section has been cut nearly in half and replaced with ready to wear pieces. The rest of the stock is spotty at best, constantly out of stock of the most popular and useful items. Ive taken a lot of my business to either Ben Franklin or some of the specialty bead shops here, despite higher prices in most cases.That said, the yarn section has good staples and the fabric section is extensive for a multi-focus store like this.

Its a good store, especially if you need something immediately, or need in-person advice. But like many stores that throw around big discounts on receipts and in print, you can find almost everything they sell online for half the cost. That said, their staff are usually very knowledgeable and happy to advise you if you have any questions, unlike most online retailers. So if they help you out with a project, common respect should dictate you also purchase there rather than online.

How are you going to prioritize in-store shoppers over people being socially responsible and ordering online for curbside pickup? I ordered fabric over 6 days ago and just got an email saying that it’s delayed even longer. Who knows if the fabric I ordered will even be available after this wait with in-store shoppers getting to purchase what I’ve already ordered. Michaels closed their stores and are requiring online purchases for pickup. No reason for JoAnn not to do the same. No reason I should have to wait over 6 days for 4 yards of fabric.

Very large store, and I found it very hard to find my way around. However, there were little to no staff around to help, and I ended up waiting in line at the fabric station to get assistance. I had called ahead to make sure they carried the product I needed, and they did. But once I got there it was hard to find (even with help). Once I got my product and was at the register the cashier was very nice and chatty. Not the best experience, but not all the stores fault.

Not the best kept store, kind of on the messy side and not seemingly well stocked in some areas. Staff are relatively friendly, although they dont all seem to like being there, and it shows in their attitude towards customers. Retail is rough though, but, a job is what you make it. Always a busy place, but, the registers are not always manned with the appropriate numbers of cashiers to check customers out quickly. Overall, a decent place to get the craft items you need, at good prices, with good sales and coupons. Love their phone app!

Be careful here, I always spend way more than I want. Not Joanns fault, I just cant help myself with all the interesting hobbies here.

I love this place. The staff is very knowledgeable and the store has every craft you can think of. I like Joanns over Micheals because Joanns also have material items. They offer coupons just like other craft stores and have really good after the holiday sales. So if you can store items it makes to shop there after the holidays and save the crafts for next year because the process are really good. They also have a special clearance section in the back but it takes time to go through everything because stuff is just thrown back there. Some things arent that cheap and Ive found a lot of items arent even marked. But you never know what youll find if you have time.

They treat their employees well, and they really care about customer experience. Im glad I shop here, even if it is relatively little.

You need to always allow plenty of time at the cutting counter at the checkout line. But they have huge selection of things and their employees are friendly.

Joanns is always a difficult place to shop, the lights are too bright, its always very messy and the ladies who run the registers are so slow that I leave tense and very angry. In their defense they do have good prices and the people are very friendly. It just isnt enough

I like that Joann has a huge variety is arts and craft goods, especially with fabrics! They gave seasonal crafts and crafts that are available year round. The store is well lit making it easy for you to find what you need but at the same time, the store isnt the most inviting. Ample parking in front of store.

This is a great place for all your crafting needs. There are plenty of craft employees that can answer your questions and guide you, if need be. They have excellent coupons and many items on sale at any given moment. This is a favorite place of mine.

Paisley helped me find the exact fabric I needed for my wedding. They ran around the store with me trying to match it and when we didnt find it they helped locate it at another store. Things were really busy that day, so I really appreciate the extra time that was spent with me. Thank you again.

I like this store because of huge choices available for selection that Arts and craft needs. Stunning collection of yarns, sewing material, frames, garden arts.. I feel excited to go there every single time!
