Definitely larger than the Daiso shops in the malls. However, there is still a lot of space that can be filled. For such a large place, they should at least carry what the smaller stores carry. I went here hoping to buy what I got from the smaller Daiso store and it turns out they didnt carry it. I ended up walking out with less than I would if I were to shop at the smaller Daiso stores.

Customer service was pretty bad. First, the long haired dude with glasses and pony tail, was getting annoyed because I asked for the prices on some things because i didnt see the price on some of the items, and wanted to confirm if it was 1.50 or not. Then the older bald guy on the register next to him came to me and told me to move my cart to the side cause i was blocking the isle, which is understandable but whats up with the attitude. So i just simply apologize and move the cart, but then right after a lady comes up to me and tells me to just put the cart on the register after i unloaded more then half the cart already. Its just the way all of them seemed like they were annoyed. Like, dam my bad, i guess my common sense isnt on point like theirs

The cashier is not helping and had horrible attitude. I have a Samsung pay which works like a credit card. They keep saying they dont accept Apple pay. I am not sure if a store like that can have such poor understanding of their payment system. One of their senior cashier said they have a policy that they dont accept mobile payments which is apparently lying because he couldnt show anything on paper to prove his statement. Will never come back again for this cheap store.

Lots of great items packed into this one shop from packaged Japanese candies, treats and chips to cute cooking implements, bento and lunch boxes, chopsticks, pouches, stationary and party supplies. Used to be like the dollar store -- cheap goods for cheap cost. Now the cost has gone up, making it not worthwhile. Things are still relatively cheaply priced and the quality remains cheap, but I am not sure its really worth it anymore since most items seemingly doubled in price. Also used to be really convenient knowing that everything was $1.50, but now everything has its own price, prices are not marked on the shelf but rather on the item (you have to search for the price, which sometimes isnt labeled on the item) and sometimes you have to do a yen-to-dollar conversion (they do keep a chart in the store, so its not hard, but it is annoying). Line does not move very quickly and it can get a little busy right around the lunch hour. But the merchandise is cute and they change things out often enough to keep it appealing to revisit periodically.

I used to be a big fan of Daiso until today. I bought a small fan about 2 weeks ago and is not working any more. I lost the receipt but have the origin package which have Daisos logo on it. This experience total changed my impression of Daiso’s professional customer service...

They have a good selection, however, their cashiers can’t price adjust, and not everything is marked correctly. Don’t get me wrong, it’s like, $0.50 more or whatever, but still, it can absolutely hold the whole line up depending on who is being charged too much. That’s frustrating. Check everything, be open to what the cashier tells you, don’t get irate (it’s not her fault), and more than likely you will find some good deals here. I know I have! Three stars, and maybe if they let their cashiers price adjust, I will up it to five!

Inexpensive Japanese style dollar store. Mind you not everything is a dollar. Many of the items you would find in a regular dollar store. However, this location was definitely less cluttered and much cleaner than a typical American dollar store. Most of the items are sold as is. I have bought a number of items and I must say I have never had reason to return an item. Parking is free at Crossroads Mall where the store is located. Just FYI, you cant enter the store from inside the mall. You have to enter from outside. One thing I noticed was how many items were actually made in Japan. The cell phone accessories are actually decent for the price.
