The auto repairman and auto technician at this particular Meineke location Are excellently trained auto repairers. They did a fantastic job on my Buick Encore truck. I’m am pleased with their work. And the cost was very reasonable. Thank you guys.

The guy they have now as the shop manager is HORRIBLE...I believe his name is Josh. I was told my rear defrost works on my Toyota Camry but come to find out it does not (this was the 1st of many trips). I called and scheduled an appt. Josh gave me a Tuesday appt. When I show up he says, We do not have techs on Tuesday so I dont know why you were given that appt? I said you gave me this appt (I know it was him because his voice is very distinctive). So while there I schedule another appt for Oct. 11th. When I get there for my appt, Im told there is only 1 tech there b/c the other tech had a baby (which would not have been a problem if the shop manager would have been professional). He could have been proactive and looked at the scheduled appts. He did not ask if he could reschedule me. Instead he gives me attitude. Im like this is my 3rd appt that you all have not kept. He says, Well babies dont make appts! This is absolutely unacceptable!!! This is horrible customer service. Im making AND keeping my appts but obviously that is pointless! I just want my vehicle fixed correctly and treated with respect! My time (and gas) is very valuable! Hopefully this gets resolved sooner than later.

It took FOUR tris to get my brakes fixed.1. “Forgot” to orders sensors.2.They ordered them, one was BAD3. Reordered sensors.4. Installed mew sensor, couldn’t figure out how to reset the computer so it didn’t show up on my display5 .FINALLY was able to reset sensors by watching YouTube videos.I spent 6 1/2 HOURS IN THE WAITING AREA FOR MY CAR TO BE COMPLETED. NOT ACCETABLE. PERIOD!!!

Today is Saturday July 10th, 2021. I just visited Meineke Car Center yesterday, so I cannot honestly give a total review yet, as I will be able to tell overtime if the work was done right, but as of now, I like what I am seeing done with my vehicle. Troy, the front man is very hospitable and polite.

Meineke had my car for three days.They told me it was the AC compressor which comes in a kit. When they put it on it still didnt solve my problem they claim they tested all the parts but still could find the problem. I dont believe it should have taken 3 days to figure out they couldnt fix my car. The tech that started on my car on day 1 was off the following day I believe they were stalling until he returned. I would have understood that if that was communicated to me.

The manager is a ‘down to earth’ kind of guy. Very friendly yet professional, honest about down time and the trouble with vehicle. No pressure to get ‘extras’ you don’t really need. They just diagnosed problem, called to inform me, I gave go ahead for brake work and two hours later I had my truck back. All in all a good experience.

Chose Meineke for a second opinion after initially being told at Jack Schmidt Cadillac of O’Fallon, IL that the reason for the pulsation / vibration that was occurring after deceleration when braking was due to the need for front brakes / rotar replacement[$1,100]. Meineke CORRECTLY diagnosed the problem as need for control arm with ball joint replacement[safety issue] along with front end alignment. Front brakes and rotars were / are fine and weren’t the issue- vehicle is riding great! In summation- not only did Meineke correctly diagnose and fix the problem, they prevented me from being fleeced at Jack Schmidt for services that weren’t even necessary! It’s no wonder that dealership recently lost it’s Cadillac designation and is now a pre-owned center!

Went to go get an oil change. They say they open at 730am. I got there at 716 waited and no one showed up. WhT a joke

It would of been 5 stars, if they actually called me to get the truck. Instead of saying it had been ready for a hour after i come to check on it.

I was pleased with the professionalism from Nathan however I am not at happy about the misleading information on a coupon. The coupon states 17.95 plus extra if you need more than 5 qts of oil.I understand that however the extra costs were more than I expected. 10.00 for labor and the total says more than 10$ more than coupon. It also says on the receipt that fluids were tipped off and I was told they don’t do that. I have been having oil changes for 45 years and this practice does not seem acceptable.

Blake and the technicians went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with the services provided, when another shop questioned their work. I come from a long line of mechanics, so I am pretty discerning, but they took time to show me that the calipers on my Dodge Journey had been properly installed. It had been a long week with difficult customers, but I was never made to feel like a burden and left feeling confident in the repairs.

Great costumer service. Had Flowmaster installed and everything sounds great. I will be back and bringing the rest of my vehicles there for now on. Blake and the rest of the guys do good work and easy to work with.

I always go to this Meineke. They are always so nice and honest. I feel like they always try to.get me thr best deal and they never try to oversell me. Manager is always super nice.

Always friendly, polite, and willing to educate. Not condescending, like some places I have been to in the past, I have always liked that Meineke is a good chain, and this specific store in Belleville is a good place to be.

Greatest experience I have had in Meineke since I use to have bad experiences before.

The Meineke on North Belt in Belleville Illinois I had my truck in there for the exhaust to be replaced 3 different times pipes were uneven and I had gotten charged twice after the initial repair telling me my exhaust was damaged and that they had to charge to fix it so what had started out turned into a nightmare. I hope the corporate office is willing to step in and and take care of this matter.

My car was returned to me with the exact same problem as when I gave it to them and their excuse is that what they fixed isnt what was wrong with my car I expected them to be professionals and to be honest about the repairs on my car and they were not that now here I am $500 later I got my car towed to them and now I have to get my car towed from them even though I spent $500 on repairs

I called to schedule my oil change and was given appointment for an hour later. I dropped off my car and an less than a hour later it was ready. Blake was very kind and very professional. Such an overall great experience, I will definitely use them again.

Was met with friendly , smiling face when I walked through the door at 7:55 am. My appointment time was 8:00 got checked in, about 5 minutes later saw them take my vehicle to the garage... did not wait too long it was complete. Will be returning..

Their online appointment scheduler wasnt connecting to the store so they had no idea I had an appointment for an oil change. Then they asked if they could put the lady who was 20 minutes late for appoint ahead of me. I ended up waiting an hour for a simple oil change. Actual oil change service was fine and the employee was polite.

I always receive the best service there! North belt! New manager his name is Trevor very knowledgeable and took the extra time with me the wait time was Not long at all. I recommend this location to any of my friends and family thank you Trevor.

Looked over my car as I had asked and made a list as to what else may have to be fixed in the future.

They were courteous in keeping me updated on the progress of my van and were apologetic when it took longer than expected. They explained the “warning lights” illuminated on my panel but were not pushy about fixing them immediately. I will definitely return!

Service was excellent and done in a timely manner, however as I was pulling off the lot I noticed my passenger side mirror was crooked and it would not adjust per the buttons in the car. I got out to adjust my mirror manually and noticed it was just placed back in and the entire outside of the mirror was cracked with a giant chunk missing out of the back. Easily replacement so I did not call up to notify them, but still would have liked to been told an accident was made while my car was being serviced. Overall, the employees were great and I will continue to take my car to Meineke.

Every time I call there too busy

I had a screw in my tire and it was leaking air pretty good. I had been to a couple air stations that were out of service. I pulled in to Meineke at 6:00pm as they were closing their doors.The manager, Blake, came out and I asked if they could put some air in until I could her it patched in the morning. He advised it was leaking air too badly and would be flat again in no time. The tech, Im so sorry I didnt get his name, said he would stay and patch it for me, so it would be safe and not mess my tire up! Blake had no problem staying almost an hour after closing to take care of me!THAT is the TRUE meaning of customer service. Honestly I have never used Meinieke, but I WILL be giving them my business for my oil changes and recommend to anyone inquiring.Thank you again gentlemen for taking the time to make me safe!Melissa G

My car was running hot, so I took it in for a radiator flush and was told that my heater core needed to be manually cleaned and I needed a thermostat. I agreed to have this procedure to be done with a cost of $444.43. Before agreeing to this, I specifically asked, “Will my car stop running hot after this procedure” and the mechanic said, “Yes”! I came back that afternoon to pick up my car and was told that something was bubbling, so I couldn’t get my car until the next day. I went back the next day and then I was told that I need a water pump and it was a $800 job, but they didn’t do that there. I feel like I was really taken advantage of because I’m an 18 year old female. I left the place with a car that was not able to be driven and out of over $400!

Needed front headlights replaced. Fast & Professional service. Ive had oil change & rear blinker lights replaced in previous visit. I Highly recommend this Shop!

Great experience with management, satisfaction guarantee.

I paid over $2000 in repairs and the front end still vibrates and makes a grinding noise. They said it needs new wheel hubs but I told them if it needed anything more then what I agreed to pay for then do not bother to do any of the repairs. Only after the work was done were the wheel hubs mentioned. Now I either waste more money on that or I have wasted the money I already spent on it. I would have gotten rid of the vehicle if I knew there was more that needs to be done. Now I would rather have all the old parts on it and get my money back. Why didnt they follow my instructions?

Called talked to one person and got a tire price. Called again talked to someone else made an appointment. When I got to the appointment for 4 tires he said I wasnt even down for one. So he said he would order the tires and come Mon. Morning. Well, I called first to double check and good thing I did because he said those tires were sold to another customer. He said he would order them again and call me Mon. If they came in. I still have not recieved a call from Mieneke. I have never had a problem there. If you didnt like me or whatever your reason to treat me like that, you just should of at least called and said something but no, you leave me hanging and I needed those tires. I will not recommend this place to anyone. We bought tires somewhere else and now they have the money!!

Went to this location for routine service. The staff was very helpful and fast and the prices are amazing. I had heard some noise from my wheels and they brought me out into the shop and showed me that my brakes were bad. Thank goodness they caught this before my trip this weekend.I highly recommend this auto shop!!!

Absolutely thrilled with the service and speedy oil change I received today. Had an unexpected death in the Family, and had to bring my car in at the last minute for an oil change. Normally they dont do it at that late before close,but I explained my situation to Cody,and he had my car in and out in less than 15 minutes. And he promised to call me tomorrow with an estimate with an additional concern with my vehicle that I have. I have just recently moved from Missouri and dont really have a Shop that I trust and know yet. If his care today was an indicator, I will be back. Not on time at all. I made an appt at 10:30. Most oil changes take 30 mins. I ended up walking home with my 4 yr old and didnt pick my car up until 1pm.

Never again will I give these conmen my business. They are horrible! I took my suv there 3 times with less than a month in between, for the check engine light. I have spent almost $3000. Never did they get to root of the problem nor did they have the decency to tell me I was completely out of oil. They told me I need a new motor after the 3rd time. The manager told me they cant do anything with it until I get one and that was going to cost me about $5000. So I had to get a second opinion and that is definitely not the issue.

Stay clear of this shop, they offered and installed a part that wasnt compatible to our truck, & claimed our truck had other issues other than what was previously claimed and refusing to correct THEIR error, even though we had not 1 but 2 second opinions from 2 different DEALERSHIPS. Both referred us back to the installer (MEINEKE). Finally, after 2 months, wasted time & getting Fox 2 news involved...the correct item was installed & doubled checked by a dealership.Beware...after contacting the Meineke corporate office they stated, This is not a corporate shop, it is independently owned & this owner owns multiple shops!

I called when they opened and made an appointment for 9:30. Literally waited right until 9:30 and when I walked in he acted like I didn’t ever talk to him or know nothing about my 9:30 oil change. Told me it would be a 2 hour wait time, what a joke.

I brought my car in for brakes and rotors! they have now have had my car for 2 days installing a water pump and thermostat! they charged me for my lifetime warranty brakes (according to meinekes policy they should have been free only being charged for rotors) and they are still not done fixing my car! all of that is a 3 hour job!!!! now they are charging me 1000 to do all this extra stuff I never asked or inquired about yall are horrible is this what you guys do scam people out of money !? I have had the worst service ever

Id give this place 0 stars if it was an option. I took my truck in to get a tailpipe installed and welded on to the muffler but Meineke didnt do that. They just put the tailpipe on. They installed it wrong and because of that, my truck almost caught on fire. The tailpipe did burn my truck real bad but of course Doug, the District Manager said it wasnt Meinekes fault for the improper installment. Now they wont fix it so they now have a lawsuit on their hands. If you dont want your vehicle to burn or catch on fire, take it somewhere else. I hope this place shuts down.

They are crooks. Meineke always try to sell you parts and service that I dont need. I needed a wheel alignment after my mechanic replaced my wheelbarrians and ball joints. They were brand new and I noticed that they was fixed after I had my mechanic fix them. When I enquired about the wheel alignment from Meineke, they said I need new ball joints and new wheelbarrians. Which was a bold face lie. My cost went from, 100 for a wheel alignment to over 1500 dollars bc they wanted to upcharge me for things I dont need. They business has been this way for years. Stay away from Meineke.
