I said Yes on Sat last, Oct 30th. Niamh was an absolute star assistant. My cousin and I enjoyed nothing but fun whilst I was trying on dresses, and Niamh just aced picking dresses out for me. Cant wait to go back for the dress in the New Year. Great place, truly deserving of 5 stars. M

The place is a joke of a shop when you buy a wedding dress and they cant even measure your bride up correctly and give them a dress that is way too big obviously they havent ordered the correct size wouldnt recommend them to anyone at all. If you do go there make sure you have someone to alter the dress to fit your bride cause they either cant read the measurements correctly or just judge what size anybody is and the fact that it will cost a few hundred for the alterations to be done cause they give people dresses that are way to big. Plus you buy a tiara and veil out of it and they give you it in a wee brown paper bag at the price of them you would expect a box at least. They are good at taking peoples money, all fake as hell smiles until they give you your dress you think is the right size one you ordered but dont wanna know after that. If I was anyone looking to get married go somewhere else with better customer service.

I am sorry, I never do reviews but my experience of this shop was dreadful. Fine until you had made an order, but following that the whole experience of the fittings was very stressful. I was left still waiting for the bridesmaid dresses to be delivered right up to the day before the wedding itself. This obviously left very little time for alterations to be made. In the end, the bridesmaids dresses were too long and they had to be held up in order to walk more than a few steps. My bridal dress was only fine because it was bought off the rail gladly. Not what a bride needs at all in the run up to her wedding.

Recently was there as a maid of honour, the girls in store (particular Catherine) were so helpful and couldn’t do more to help the bride find her perfect dress. Which...she did! Beautiful range of dresses to try on and more than accommodating for special alterations👰🏼

Helped me get a dress within a month after having an absolute disaster at another bridal shop and recommended the fabulous Dawn who did the alterations for me. Extremely greatful for the easy and pleasant experience after such a horrible time elsewhere.

Highly recommend Pronuptia. Lisa was my assistant and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress. I was by myself and she held my phone so I could show my sisters via video call! Absolutely stunning dresses in stock 🙂

Had a great experience in pronuptia and I ended up getting my dress and bridesmaids dresses from them. All the sales assistants were very helpful and the shop itself is beautiful inside. All in all I was very pleased with the customer service they provided and I would recommend it to anyone.

When I asked to try on the dress in the window the lady in the shop said Oh no, not on a Saturday!. I couldnt believe i!. If you are trying to sell dresses surely you can take a dress out of the window for 5 minutes for a customer? After that I knew I wouldnt buy any dress from there, even if I loved it.They also didnt give me a chance to say at the beginning what sort of dress I was looking for and instead just started pulling things out.I would not recommend this shop to anyone!

Customer service is appalling! have had to repeatedly make contact with the shop and have been waiting over a week for an email with information with my bridesmaids measurements.Due to the recommendations from the staff, insisting that two of my bridesmaids order size 12 dresses when they repeatedly told the staff that they are size 8, I have had to paid over £500 on dress alterations because the dresses require so much work. Basically had to be taken apart, removed excess material and put back together and secondly recommending a seamstress who totally butchered my third bridesmaid dress which then had to be taken to my local seamstress who worked on my other two bridesmaids to be fixed. I have been complete ignored, the stress caused to my self and my three bridesmaids on the week of my wedding was immense and the owner Jackie has shown little regard to this or the expense that has caused due to their incompetence.

I went to pronuptia Belfast with my daughter. First impressions were good. Once she picked the dress she liked it was well we need half the money now and the rest 6 months later. That was grand until my daughter got a phone call 2 months later stating dress was ready and bill had to be settled. I found attitude of staff at that stage unsatisfactory. They couldnt have cared less whether we were in a position at that stage to clear amount owing or not. There were no good wishes for her wedding day . I would not recommend this shop for any brides to be.....

A very impersonal service. The Bridal consultant did nothing other than hand me the dress and take it out of my hands in the changing rooms when I had struggled out of it. No feedback on the dress when it was on, no suggestions of other items (I had to ask to try on a veil), no enthusiasm at all. They didnt really care, then expect you to part with £1500!!I already had my reservations as theyve a reputation for being a bit snobby, especially to brides on a budget.Once I had tried on the three Id originally picked Id had enough of the lack of customer servser and got dressed into my normal clothes. The bridal consultant seemed shocked that I was finished, yet when we suggested taking a look at the bridemaids dresses we were told this was an appointment slot and there wasnt any time!!! (even though I could have tried on 5 more dresses if I wanted, doesnt make sense)! We were in and out in 30 mins!Couldnt wait to get out of there and definitely wouldnt part with my money there!

Although being assured that there would be dresses in my friends budget when she rang to book an appointment, it was a very different story when we arrived at the store. The woman working there seemed shocked that some one had even agreed to see my friend as she was on a strict budget and sepnt 5 minutes trying to figure out who possibly said they could have helped her. She only let my friend try on 2 of the dresses that she thought they could have parted with, and even though they were samples, tried to charge my friend way over the budget originally stated. Then sent us over to Parsons Hire store, where she said they had more samples. The shop smelt musty and old and wasnt exactly the location you would be happy trying on your wedding dress. Even though the samples here were not great quality, Pronuptia still tried to quote at the very top of my friends budget (even though the other dresses on the rack were only around £200).We went to Madam Bientot Belfast after this after getting a lucky last minute appointment. What a difference indeed. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. They kept the shop open late, got my friend a number of dresses in her budget, and she was able to pick a beautiful dress. They even recommended a dress maker to do the alterations. Overall brilliant friendly service, quite the opposite to the frosty reception in Pronuptia. I would advise to stay clear of Pronuptia, as unless you have thousands to spend on a dress, the snobs here arent interested at all!

Just wanted to write a quick review of Pronuptia Bridal in Belfast City Centre. When I first went into the shop I was greeted by a friendly blonde woman who asked me to describe what type of dress I was looking for and explained the layout of the shop. She was very knowledgable about all the dresses and designers that the shop carried, and was able to suggest some dresses I might like. My main problem was that I had been severely let down by another bridal shop in Belfast: when my dress arrived into their shop it was covered in black marks, the lace was ripped and had holes in the train. I was absolutely distraught. The assistant sympathised with me before suggesting a simple and elegant maggie sottero dress. Now arises a new problem: my wedding is in 6 weeks and Im a dress size 6, far too small for any sample dress. Instead of going into panic mode, the assistant was calm and explained the situation to the manager Jackie, who then offered to call the central offices in England to see if they had any, but bad news. She then rang the head office in America where they had a dress my size. With an express delivery, the dress was with me in a matter of weeks. Without the attentiveness, sympathy and professionalism of the staff at Pronuptia bridal, I wouldnt have had the amazing wedding day I dreamed of. Thank you again ladies, I couldnt sing your praises anymore!

Do not go here girls!!! Recieved very rude service from the beginning, especially when trying on dresses and after finding my dress and trying to source it somewhere else I had to settle with here. I was told my dress could take up to 6months to arrive so I called after 6 months to see if it was in and when asked when my big day was and I said 6months away she practically laughed me off the phone and told me thats why it wasnt here, I eventually got a call 1.5 months later to say it arrived and I had 1week to pay them the other half which I thought was very rude especially when it was paid in full! The dress itself was a disaster, it had not come without the belt sewn in as requested because the girl (hungover that day) had not written it down so it therefore had to be cut out of my dress and even worse the top of my dress was meant to have a lace fringe trim which was completely missing on one side as it was sewn completely below the bodice! After trying many times to get them to rectify the situation and between being lied to several times that it was done and calling into the shop to be told it wasnt then that my dress was either away being fixed or in storage you can imagine my frustration! Eventually I took the dress away to be fitted only to find that after lying to me again I had to actually pay to have the trim fixed myself as they never bothered and holes left in my belt that never shouldve been there i am infuriated with their bad service and lack of care, absolute disgrace that they get away with doing this to women, be warned! Oh and to top it off the zip on my dress broke off on my wedding day and I had to change into a honeymoon outfit for my reception!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Icing on the cake!
