Sales staff was friendly and so helpful. They had my needs and wants in mind and provided solutions and great value. I never felt like I was “being sold” things. I feel like the items I bought will help me finish numerous projects and not just sit in my shop collecting sawdust. GREAT EXPERIENCE from my favorite woodworking store! Chris the the manager rocks!

I asked the salesman to open the buffer box and verify it worked. He wasnt happy about that, but he did it without any snide or negative comments.So I would give them a big thumbs up for the way they deal with annoying customers. Ive had too many DOA Chinese electrical items, so I want proof they work before leaving, but I realize its an inconvenience for them. I went on a Monday morning, so there were more clerks than customers in the store. The buffer worked, and I spent an additional $80. Ill go back again and I recommend them.

I while I try to just pop in and get the one or 2 items I planned on purchasing, I always find myself drawn into your rabbit hole of woodworking dreams.Thanks for the shortcut to dreamland.

Went into for a specific router bit, (I did not figure they would have it) and they had a bit that would work. They usually have what I am looking for. Better selection that the big box stores.

While shopping for woodworking tools and parts, a sales person answered all of my questions regarding a new router table. Ive always found this store to be friendly and Rockler products are always well thought out. The improved layout of the Portland, OR store is a plus as it seems they have expanded the tool department.

Were lucky to have a Rockler store in the area. They have most everything you would want for a project. I usuallt get my material from other sources but for hardware, finishes, and consumables like sand paper, I come here.You can get great advice and help here too.

This is my go to place for when I need advice, top quality impossible to find items and also staff that are wood workers and not just people hired to do a job, they love what they do. selection of exotic woods is amazing and their friendliness, assistance and advice are top tier, but they are not pushy, nor are they condescending. stop in, bring your fur baby as the store allows your 4 legged kiddos in and they encourage them to visit too!

I have been a customer since Rockler was the Minnesota Woodworkers Supply. You just keep getting better. The Beaverton store is a great example. Although I get in to town seldom enough that Chris does not recognize me, I know him and seek him out with questions. His quick understanding of my specific questions shows depth of knowledge which helps me.Rocklers innovative equipment and seemingly never-ending supply of new jigs allow me to focus on the work, which is why I have a shop in the first place.

I went to get some drum sanding sleeves. They carry three different courseness, but they had only one of any flavor. I guess I was lucky there was one, but it was pretty much a wasted trip to the store.

As always, the staff was very helpful. Some of the equipment is on backorder but that has been the case due to Covid. The thing I like best is the staff can answer all my questions unlike the big box stores.

I went to Rockler Woodworking for the first time yesterday. All employees were very friendly and didnt treat me like the novice woodworker that I am. This place is paradise. I now understand the high that my wife apparently gets when she goes to Target all the time and comes home with $250 of stuff I didnt know we needed. I felt like a kid in a candy store. This could be the beginning of the end. Someone please check in with me in 6 months. If I try to take a second mortgage on my house, its time for an intervention!

Rockler is great. However, they have reorganized the store recently. Currently, there is a giant sign hanging from the ceiling that says Power Tools. The only hand saws in the place are right behind that sign. Needless to say, it took me too long to find the hand saws, it is a work in progress. The staff are awesome and helpful.

Wow. Excellent selection of tools. I install blinds for a living and the measuring and layout tools they have I have never seen anywhere else. Makes complex installs much easier.

Great store for my husband conveniently located next to a yarn store for me. 😉 They always seem to have what he needs. Our garage is filled with Rockler... Most recently they allowed him to pre-purchase sale item that they ran out of at sale price and called when it arrived. Service not seen with most retailers. Plus he loves to come in and talk wood with someone who enjoys it too.

The customer service was excellent. Knowledgeable staff. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store. The staff members were present but not pushy. The store was well organized, and stocked. I was there to buy some hairpin table legs, which are hard to find in a store. Their prices are a bit steep but given that they sell more rare, highly specified items I would say they it is reasonable. The hairpin legs were priced comparable to what I could have gotten online. I asked the guy at the check out counter of they had any coupons and he was kind enough to scanned in a 15% coupon that came out in their May flyer. I in turn signed up for their emails/flyers and be a returning customer.

Im no pro, I was just looking for new drawer slides. They had a ton of options in stock. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I had no idea this place was here, but I would absolutely come again if I had another furniture/ cabinetry project! Thank you!

Fantastic selection of cabinet hinges! After being shocked that Home Depot only carried a paltry selection of Blum hinges I was overwhelmed and delighted by Rocklers dedicated aisle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I found what I was looking for then browsed for an extra 40 minutes. Theres just so many cool wood working tools.

Now I remember why I haven’t stepped foot into this store in a few years. High pressure sales tactics that are typically found at used car dealerships and staff who won’t leave you alone for more than 3 minutes. I was in there for about 15 minutes including time at the register and had two different employees each approach me two separate times. Then at the register the gentleman didn’t like that I wasn’t going to purchase a warranty with my hvlp sprayer and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Save yourself the drive and headache and just buy it online.

Fantastic, was my experience....I went to a certain woodworking store to buy a Jet 1221VS Lathe, they were out of stock. I then went to see Chris at Rockler in Beaverton, Portland, Oregon and Rockler had the lathe in stock. I bought it and brought it home. The purchase was a snap, but somehow I misplaced my receipt. I went back to Rockler and with no hesitation the helpful clerk brought up a record of the transaction so I could complete my application for my free one year membership for buying the Jet 1221VS wood lathe. Now after using the 1221VS and trying to stress it out with my largest gouge and aggressive power sanding, the lathe performed all my required tasks effortlessly. All of the sales representatives that work there are helpful and know how to steer one in the right direction. I am a member of the North West Woodturning Association and with that membership comes a discount to purchase stuff. Tools not included but, Thanks Rockler.....I love to turn.
