Beacon bagel is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. There is a great creative menu. Don’t be surprised by mistakes when it gets busy though. There have been a couple times when I had to remind them I was waiting. Best to find a time when the line of customers is shorter but otherwise highly recommended!

Lucys Lox on a plain gluten free bagel was delicious. Nice dense bagel and not crumbly. For those not from NY, if you want the bagel toasted, you have to ask, they dont do it automatically like where Im from. That was the only thing that could have made this sandwich better to me. I will definitely be going back though.

My wife and I just got married on June 29th and used The Beacon Bagel for our family get together the morning after. We cannot convey how pleased we are with their service!! We bought 7 dozen bagels and five gallons of coffee and they were freshly made and ready for pick-up at 8:30 in the morning. The work and hours that must go into that preparation is unbelievable and everyone absolutely loved that bagels! Thank you for such good service! We cant wait to come back to Beacon and stop in!Grateful,Greg & Jess

My first time at Beacon Bagel was on a Saturday morning, although their bagels are so good, you can expect a wait, regardless of what day of the week it is. Fresh, tasty, with a great variety of both bagels and cream cheese flavors. They also offer a nice variety of hot and cold beverages, too. Did not see if there is a bathroom, though, as the day I was there I was running behind schedule, butI digress.

Coffee was terrible. Asked for a Latte with whole milk got skim milk. Also took a few extra minutes as our order was given to someone else. Maybe the bagels are better?

There is a sign on the Beacon Bagel Shop door of the hours of operation, but they are not open during the hours posted. This happened during the summer, when my grandson wanted a bagel for breakfast and again now in September. How can you run a business, when you are always closed?

Unfortunately unorganized - my order has been done wrong during multiple visits, and plain forgotten at others. Prices are also really high for what it is. I want to love this place, but unfortunately just cant 😕

Will never come back here again. $8 for a BLT on a bagel. To make matters worse, barely any bacon on it. Also freshly made everything bagels but with *barely* any salt/garlic/poppy seeds on it. I dont understand how its good business practice to poorly execute when youre making fresh bagels then on top of that charge exorbitant prices - one loses repeat customers.

Yummy pretzel bagels. Food is delicious, but its very popular so it can get very busy. They sometimes forget items if you order a special sandwich and they are busy. No problems with predefined sandwiches. Worth the wait. Favorite sandwich is bacon, egg white and cheese with apples on a pretzel bagel. Sounds weird but apples and cheese go great together.

Unbelievable breakfast! All the food here is delicious. The JD is one of the most amazing sandwiches I have ever sunk my teeth into. There isnt much seating, and there is usually a line but that is only because the food is so delicious. It is well worth the wait.

Really decent NY bagels! Fun casual atmosphere, very family-friendly. Beyond just bagels, they have a great sandwich menu. 4 instead of 5 stars because the coffee could be better - But really youre there for the bagels, which are great! Dont miss the pretzel bagel.

Small local bagel shop, nothing fancy. Bagels I felt were very small compared to a typical NY bagel. I had sesame with butter. Had a lot of sesame :) $1.69. If your nearby I would recommend stopping by and supporting this local business

Friendly staff and great bagels it its a small place but you can see the effort is put in to every bagel and sandwich. I love that I can pick a sandwich off of the menu and ask for a small change with it. Seating is limited and the wait may be long but its all worth it!

The girl with pink hair has an attitude. When you walk into a place you should be greeted with a smile while being kind and polite. Were spending our hard earned money at your place. Then it was very expensive. 3 wraps a bagel and 2 apple juice. 40 bucks. 3 wraps should have been 5.00 a piece bagel 4.00 2 juices 4.00 Latte 5.00 total should have been 28.00. Instead it was 40.00. Are you kidding me?!?! The food was decent but not worth the girls attitude or the high price. Wont be back.

The bagels are awesome and the service is pretty quick. Even so, out of five times I’ve ordered a latte, they’ve gotten the order wrong four times. Drastically wrong. It’s enough to not get coffee or drinks there anymore. It’s also a bit pricy for a bagel sandwich.

I love the beacon bagel...its one of the places that makes this town tick..the owners are great, caring people...the staff is always trying their best to accommodate the barrage of customers that seem to frequent the small shop...the bagels are great..their sandwiches are inventive...and the fair trade coffee is always piping hot...i really cant give it a better review...yes, sometimes it gets too busy.....but you know what?...thats a sign that something good is going on there.......and yes, they have gluten free bagels as well............

Seriously good, consistent bagels. Can you get a better bagel in NYC? Yes. But only slightly better - and thats saying something! These fresh, chewy bagels keep this former Manhattanite quite happy on a Saturday morning.Very tasty vegan cream cheese, vegan facon, and many vegan bagel options.More than just bagels, this is also one of the better sandwich shops around. A very wide selection of sandwich toppings available, including juicy meats and very fresh veggies. The only misses Ive had were with the eggs, which have come out cooked oddly - a hot hot griddle to fry them on would go a long way to up their egg bagel-sandwich game.It has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, with kids art and alphabet magnets adorning the walls. Pick up the local paper and read all about whats happening behind the scenes in Beacon. The new management has kept all the things weve loved for years, and added some modernizing touches (including a convenient ordering app). Thanks for keeping up the comfort and quality in this Beacon community staple!

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff, clean space, quality food. They have a variety of gluten free options including bagels and pastries, and will happily honor severe food allergies to the best of their ability.During their busiest hours there is usually a bit of a wait (20 mins or so) but the staff is always working hard to give the customers a good experience, and the food is always worth the wait.

This place was amazing! I had a gluten free plain bagel with their freshly made pastrami and provolone and it was out of this world! It was so good, I bought a 2nd to go. I also got a gluten free blueberry bagel with cream cheese, which was also really good. For anyone with Celiac disease or a gluten I tolerance, this place is a must! They were aware of needs and made every effort to keep everything safe for me. I wish I lived closer so I could go there everyday!

GLUTEN-FREE BAGELS!! I rarely write reviews and only write a review if I am very satisfied. . Not only do they have gluten-free bagels (plain and everything), but they also offer an assortment of gluten-free muffins, pastries, and biscotti. Also, their fresh squeezed orange juice is to die for. From the second you walk in youre greeted with a friendly welcome and smile. The atmosphere is hip and the service is amazing. After ordering my gluten-free bagel the owner came over to our table and gave me a free gluten-free cheese pastry he said would change my life and it was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend beacon bagel and will absolutely be coming back!

Whatever you do, do not think to yourself, oh a bagel place, Ill get a quick bite you will wait, a looong time regardless of whether it is packed or not. The bagels are ok/good, and fairly priced. The coffee is very acidic and often burnt. However, it is a better choice for breakfast than a lot of Beacon

Depends on when you go. When its empty food is good service is fast. If theres a long line the service is all over the place. Literally the last 5 times I went I sat and watched as people who came in after me got food before me and I had to walk up and interrupt them. And the entire time Im waiting they make eye contact with me and see me waiting. Makes no sense. Sandwiches are good though even if they are overpriced.

Granted, it was Labor Day, the place was open, the bagels were not fresh, the price at $2.25 per bagel on par with Brooklyn prices, not Beacon any more. When I lived in Park Slope, if the bagels were not fresh you would get the day old discounted price and it was all fair. Hopefully a Brooklyn idea will take hold in Beacon.

Disgusting restaurant, overpriced items, and I overheard the staff badmouthing customers- and other staff! Un-professional; the staff should know that just because you walked a couple of feet away from the customer that the customer can still hear you! Plus when you glance in the back its a total pigsty! There were open eggs rotting on the floor, seeds everywhere, a thick coat of some mysterious liquid- I dont trust that the food is safe if thats how disgusting the place is!Will never go back, would give 0 stars if I could. This place is a total waste of time!

Absolutely love this place! Theyve got over 50 awesome bagel sandwich options on their menu including great vegan choices and gluten free bagels, so its a fave destination for our family with special diets. Theyve got wraps, salads, a kids menu and full range of espresso, tea and cold beverages including freshly squeezed OJ.My fave item for awhile has been the JPP - egg whites, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, jalapeño cream cheese & hot sauce, on a toasted sesame seed bagel. Sometimes I sub out the pepperjack for avocado. This sandwich is so incredibly delicious! The place has a nice casual atmosphere, and is located in a great part of town.
