Was a great experience from eye exam to picking out frames. I thought they would have a better selection of more fancier frames but I found one. The thing that stood out as a side eye was the guy showing frames was wearing the gloves. Unsanitary during these times as they were not changed between clients and he wore them throughout the store. Want to spread germs? Yeah that’s how you do it. Rid the gloves and wash/sanitize hands.

Im super disappointed, I order contact over 3 weeks ago and they were supposed to be delivered to my home 2 weeks ago I was supposed to get a call back Sharonda claimed she didnt have my info, come to find out the rep sent the to the store, someone signed for them and now they cannot find them. I was offered a clear pair of contacts and contact solutions as a inconvenience gift.. not good enough..this is super upsetting ,especially when they are for work.

When I went into vision work the staff greeted me with a welcome and sanitizer and that was great that they are taking precautions steps to stay safe, and every staff that I seen when I step into the door was beautiful they made me feel comfortable, i would recommend this place to everyone and the doctor was excellent he knows his work thank you vision works of Beachwood

First time taking my daughter to Visionworks and it was a great experience. They were thorough with sanitizing guidelines from start to finish. Dr. Gordon was thorough with the exam and Charlie was awesome when it came to selecting glasses. Despite them already being closed, he took his time to make sure my daughter got the glasses she wanted without making us feel rushed or pressured to buy extras. I appreciate great customer service as it is hard to find these days. I will definitely return even if it’s just for the retail portion of the visit.

I went in to get my glasses adjusted. They have very efficient and safe procedures regarding Covid-19, and also has the friendliest staff ever. Charlie was the worker that helped me, and he guided me through every single question I had while also providing the friendliest customer service.

I usually do not have any issues with Visionworks. My kids and I have been coming for a few years now. Completely understand COVID has changed the dynamics of things but this last experience was just so-so.Our appointment was at 5, which was fine, only problem...unbenounced to us, a walk in was taken prior to our arrival. It was a family of 3, all being serviced.We get seen, and by the time we’re done it’s now 5:55pm. We then go to pick out frames, only to be told...”We close at 6, so you can browse and come back but we can’t complete a full order.” That absolutely was NOT my problem and I’m my opinion UNACCEPTABLE. They did NOT complete the appointment, and I’m very bothered by that.If you know you close at 6, why accept walk-in appointments? Why have 5pm appointments available? Appointment times should be cut off at 4pm, and maybe let’s not accept walk-in appointments past a certain time. That one decision pushed my 5pm appointment back, lessening time for my daughter to complete her FULL appointment. I absolutely WILL NOT be returning so that she can pick out frames, we’ll just take the prescription and use an online source for frames.

I had a great experience with the Beachwood Visionworks. I drove out to the store and found an awesome pair of Nike glasses that I ended up getting. Robert was beyond helpful with me, and took the time to go the extra yard to help with an insurance issue. He told me the glasses would be in around 2 weeks later and they were ready a week early.

I had the worst experience at Beachwood ,Ohio vision works branch.I got 3 pairs from them last week and they entered the wrong prescription in their system and they had copy of my prescription with them and they did not even bother to check once they got my glasses and they just gave it to me . I used them from one week and I got severe headaches and my eyes are becoming red and I thought my eyes will take time to adjust to new glasses. I went to store to fill up my VSP rebate form and get signed from them and when they opened their system I looked into the system casually and I found out they entered my prescription wrong in their system and funny part is until I tell them they do not even know they entered the prescription wrong and they had my copy of prescription in their hands when i found out. I had to return them to get it fixed and I switched to my old glasses again and i started getting headaches again until eyes adjust to my old glasses and once get my new glasses will get headaches again to adjust to them .So for next 3-4 weeks I have to live with headaches and redness in my eyes. I am never going to vision works again and will not recommend to anyone

Oh my word I am so pleased. I came in after my frames got bent out of shape, not only did they fix them up so that they were in their original condition, but the gentleman fixing my glasses checked the fit once they were on my face and informed me that he could adjust the part that hoops around my ears for me. My glasses have been falling down my face for years and I didn’t even know that could be fixed! The costumer service was so nice and the results are indisputably excellent!

Per their website this location is open on Mondays until 6PM so I called at 4:30PM on a Monday (June 15th). Despite the receptionist answering almost immediately she maintained that they were not open on Mondays and that I would have to call tomorrow to receive prescription help. Im not sure if that is an accurate description, but they either need to update the website to reflect their actual hours or perhaps consider employing people that are willing and able to help their long time customers.It worked out in the end though, I was able to find my prescription in my records and was actually able to order them online from a separate party for approximately 50% of the price that VisionWorks has offered. I also learned today that I do not want to support a business with such poor customer service, life is all about learning so I am thankful for that.

I entered the Beachwood mall location in attempt to utilize my benefits as they are expiring today. Upon entering store there was no one there except 2 store associates, who both greeted upon my entrance. I explained what I was trying to do and was directed to look at woman’s frames. Another customer shortly after my entering came in with same need as mine to utilize benefits that are ending, he was greeted and after looking for a couple minutes the woman store associate told him she’d be right with him. No one at this point still had acknowledged my reasoning for being in the store especially since I was there first. She began assisting him with selections, I waited a few more minutes as the other associate appeared to be copying or doing something behind desk but not addressing me the customer in the lobby. I left because in my opinion the customer should ALWAYS COME FIRST I WAS NOT TREATED THAT WAY! Maybe going forward the people who work in your store would recognize good customer service!

This was honestly the fastest eye exam Ive ever had. The office staff was great; friendly and helpful, and the process before seeing the doctor was very quick. The doctor herself was very friendly and thorough. I found several frames for my glasses and the optometrist was great in helping me choose. My insurance coverage was gone over in detail, and the whole process was very fast.I would definitely recommend VisionWorks (at least this location)!

Terrible experience. Ended up with wrong prescription since the optometrists couldn’t give me the time of day. One wouldn’t cover for another. And literally couldn’t spend five minutes to make sure I had the right contact prescription. Office was chronically understaffed. And staff walked around muttering under their breath about how hard they’re are working. I literally felt like I was inconveniencing them by giving them my business. I will never go back. Like never. As for the front of the house - I waited close to 44 minutes every time I stopped in to try and get some help buying glasses. Finally bought on mine. I have no time for that. Took my business elsewhere. Then and from here on out.

Glenda answered the phone and made me want to drive 40 minutes out of my way to avoid dealing with her attitude in person. It was horrible over the phone and she wasn’t helpful at all. She even hung up the phone while I was talking to her. My daughter-in-laws parents are visiting from China for the holidays. Dad accidentally sat on his glasses and broke the frame. He has to fly out tomorrow morning. Visionworks was very busy today with end of the year crowd. Robert and Marlena understood our situation and stayed late, past closing time, and fixed it! If I could, I would give 0 stars. And I give such a poor review because of the employee I worked with named Robert. It not only took multiple weeks of me calling over and over again to get my order filled, but once it was filled, he filled it incorrectly. Mistakes happen, not a problem. I went back to find the pair I wanted, for which he was absolutely ZERO help. He did not apologize or acknowledge his mistake. When I was checking out, I asked if I would receive credit or a discount for the hassle. He stated I would receive them for free and they respect customer service, etc. I was very grateful, until I learned that I would in fact NOT be receiving anything for free or a discount - they were simply not refunding the pair I had already bought nor providing an additional discount for the time wasted. I confronted him about this and the fact that he completely lied about the situation (which he knew full well what he as doing) he was BEYOND RUDE. I would have been fine and understood that I still pay but the fact that he lied to get me out of his hair was wrong!He began to state that it was my fault for the mistake, that I had written the order form, signed it, etc. which of course I did not do, as that is his position. He then talked to me like I was a complete idiot - asking if I never came into the store at all and made an order period. He was so condescending my jaw about hit the floor. I straight asked him why he was talking to me in such a disrespectful way, which truthfully, I felt he did since the start of my interactions with him. I ended up canceling my order in total because of this employee and I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS STORE. He called me as I was driving home and stated that he wrote down the wrong number, but it was very similar to the pair I wanted so, we were both in the wrong...? I could go on and on about other things and how disrespectful he was. Terrible experience.

I am here now for the first time and it was a great experience. The women at the desk were nice, Dr. Gordon was pleasant and efficient and was willing to answer questions and Glenda was suuuuper professional and pleasant to work with. You can tell she was very knowledgeable about different frames and she gave great feedback when i tried them on. It did get quite busy when i went to pick out my glasses and Glenda had to answer phones and greet others in between our session but it was no fault of her own. Visionworks needs 2 people to handle the flow because she had alot of people there and although she handled it well, i can imagine her getting burnt out. I did not mind waiting but i am sure that would be an issue with others.

Good service, nice people, but they dont stand behind their products. Have bought 10+ pairs of glasses for my sons and 2 of them broke within a month due to weak welds on the frames. These were clearly manufacturing defects but Visionworks would not replace them(wanted to charge $100+). I even spoke with a manufacturer of eyeglass frames and they said this should have been covered.(My kids also broke other frames from dropping, etc. but I wouldnt expect this to be covered). Extra warranty is $30, which is needed for ANY coverage. I went here because I though I could save money, but found the independent shops with name brand frames are similar in price even with the Visionworks specials Will not be coming here again even if I have to pay more. Was looking for value, but I got cheap.

This place is horrible had spoken to the general manager over the phone and she said they would be able to fix my glasses great thanks. I get here not even a half hr later as I’m STILL waiting for my glasses to be fixed. All they have to do is take the ear piece off!!! I just asked how much longer since I’ve been here for an hr and a half the most rudest ignorant disrespectful guy has no clue what I’m talking about and says and claims he’s been the only doc here. Mind I know he’s lying cuz I seen the other guy fixing my glasses and the nice lady that took them from me. I will never come back here. NEVER not asking for anything but something would be nice for the inconvenience!!!! Unbelievable totally disappointed
