Just went for 1 item employee was chit chatting with another employee on the floor and they both saw me did not even ask if I needed help anyways I said excuse me and asked nicely for an item , quickly got an attitude and basically made me tell her good morning how are you just for her to help me find an item. Ridiculous! Then after she finds the item asks unnecessary questions of who I am buying it for and blah blah and keeps going thats personal info , also I did not do the survey on the receipt because I dont want the nice cashier to be affected by this she is very nice. I dont know if she was a manager or not but so very unprofessional on the floor and also when I asked her where can I find the item she gave me a face and said uuu that made my skin break out like basically wanting me to not buy it. Please employees keep comments to yourself as a professional you should know this is inappropriate everyone has different skin. FYI did not get her name but she was around 35-50sh African American woman very loud and annoying.

I’m a frequent shopper and a lover of Ulta, staff is friendly every time I go. However my last visit on 10/10/21 was not the best. I was approached by a lady with green hair at the benefit area while I was looking at morphe products and she asked if I needed help, I said yes I just need to find my right shade in morphe brow products and she tried to upsell me the benefit products & services and when I said I wasn’t interested I just want to find my shade in the morphe brow products she walked away. Okay then don’t offer me help???

I scheduled an eyebrow appointment a week ago only to be told that they dont even have a designated person to do so. If you knew that why send an email reminder and text saying see you soon??? To me this was unacceptable customer service because you dont seem to care about my time or even care about my business. Everyone seems to want your money with doing minimal effort. Nope.Ladies find somewhere else to go!!!!!!

This location has very limited stock and the employees are less than friendly. Rarely do I ever leave with a purchase either because stock was out or employees were on the rude side.

Im not a woman whose markup/ skin care educated ¬ only did he make me feel comfortable asking questions he guided me to different areas in the store to find exactly what I was searching for. It took them about 30 mins to ask if I needed help with anything. I actually had to wait in line to ask a simple question, if a product was in stock. When I finally did get to the counter the worker was constantly saying no, as if I were deaf. She didn’t even bother to tell me it was something that could be ordered online only. Overall my experience was poor. The store lacked cleanliness as well.

There is no point in telling you about a free gift when you are looking at product and then immediately telling you that they ran out.

Bad experience. Bad service. I had a formal makeup and blowout appointment done by Katie for a special event. Note: I was in a hurry but never did I rush her or mention time.To begin with, she seemed annoyed, was rolling her eyes, monotone, and seemed as if she didn’t enjoy her job. Other staff were in a good mood.Communication was horrible, she never asked my skin type, the foundation was way too light for my skin tone and not blended down at all, blotchy and greasy. Poked my eye a couple times while applying concealer/foundation, without announcement or apology. The eye liner looked as if it had been done by a child. The eyeshadow was messy at the corners. As for my hair I asked for blowout waves, I got cheap looking curls.As I said, I was in a hurry so I just let her do her thing since she’s the professional. (Never rushed her.) $90 and nearly 2 hours later I was fixing my own hair and make up at home before speeding to the USMC Ball.The plan was to get my hair and makeup professionally done so that we could finally take pictures this year (4th year of USMC Balls without professional pictures). From now on I’ll save my time and money and do my own makeup and hair!

I had an appointment set for my brow tinting, and after driving 30 minutes being stuck in traffic for another 15 minutes, I arrived at ultra to find out the lady left. I can understand she went home as she was sick but the reason I’m upset is that nobody called me to let me know about my appointment having to be cancelled. The most that could have been don’t waste call and let me know so I wouldn’t have had to make that drive.

Idk what was going on but this lady was kinda rude when I barely walked in- I mean maybe she had a bad day or a customer was rude to her but idk it scared me 💀

Went to see Katie at the salon and couldn’t be happier!! My hair was all brassy after a bad hair job and she fixed it immediately; it turned out beautifully!! There is also a new prestige associate who I found to be extremely helpful; he had great recommendations and knew a lot about makeup! I don’t remember his name but he’s a tall blonde guy. Everything was stocked well when I went in and Everyone is always friendly. I personally like how it’s not always stacked like other locations, makes for a really relaxing shopping experience 😊

Not stocked very well, shelves are always empty for the same items week after week. The employees are extra helpful though, and very nice. Just need better stocking help.

The help you get in this store is not worth my time. You ask for assistance they might show you one product and that’s it. Not would you like to try or there are other products. To busy unloading a box and looking at phone. I have been in this store for the last time. After several times silly me thinking it would be different. No it is not. The store not exceptionally busy. I was really ready to spend money. But not here. I will go to Macy or Dillard. At least they help you.

Every time I go, I get a good experience. Since its the only beauty store nearby, they sell out of a lot of stuff really fast, especially if on sale. I try to go on Thursday when they restock! The prices are comparable to drug store prices, they have really awesome sales a couple times a year (which Sephora doesnt) and the perks are amazing! I highly recommend buying all your beauty items you were already going to buy here and getting a credit card with them because it will make you earn points much faster (actual dollars off that work on anything, depending on the amount of points). The staff is super helpful too even if they are very busy.

I love all of the people. I love all of the products. I love the testing makeup thing even tho its kinda unsanitary. I still live for it and would reccomend. They were sweet to me. Absolutely adore. But.... on the contrary, last time I was there I swear I heard a rat, the place smelled a little atrocious, and I dont recommend dry tissues to wipe off makeup. Some of those were wet, some were dry. Just being honest.

I recently placed an order from Ulta. I only ordered one item so I wasnt expecting too much. When I got to the check out options, I was offered a few different choices of samples to choose from. COOL, I thought, and I chose fragrance samples to come with my order. Today, I received my order. It contained my original item, and guess what. Two fragrance samples, FOR MEN. But Im a lady. What am I supposed to do with that.......thank goodness I have a boyfriend that will MAYBE use them. Why even offer this option if youre going to send something that I cannot use. I didnt even know Ulta sold anything for men, until now.

I went to get a trim, and have my hair thinned out. When the Ciara thinned my hair out she did such a horrible job, pieces of the back of my hair that aren’t suppose to be short are short as hell because she tinned it out so wrong. She was very nice but god she did a horrific job. Now when I put my hair up so much hair comes flying out because it’s super short towards the back. Definitely not worth the $40 I paid

OMGosh 😵 Ulta really let me down. I have been an Ulta customer for a long time. I have never left so disappointed with their services. Just because someone goes to cosmetology school, doesn’t mean they need to work in a salon. I’m not sure how this girl passed the state test. Ulta y’all need to make sure before you hire a stylist that they can actually do the services you offer. I spent A LOT of money and didn’t even get close to what I asked for. I brought pictures of the color and cut I wanted. Ciara said “no problem, I got you girl.” Even told me she’d been doing hair since she was 14 years old. Don’t tell people you can do something unless you can actually do it. Store manager only took off my haircut on my bill and it still cost me $204.00 😡😡😡😡😡 I will be telling everyone not to go to Ulta salons if this is how they treat their customers. VERY VERY VERY disappointed.

I only visited here once when traveling for a work assignment. I came in and asked one of the workers where I can find Korean skincare. She was very pleasant and helped me out. I looked around the store a bit more and noticed that many items were on clearance, which makes shopping for beauty items fun and exciting. I noticed the shelves were stocked well; most of them were neat and organized.

Its a hit or miss with customer service. They are ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK!! Who ever orders inventory needs to be replaced or do a better job. For the 21 days they only have like 5 of each item. REALLY? The store in corpus does a WAY BETTER JOB!! Always running out of small bags, never have anything at the make up try out stations!! Nor testers available!!

If you are a lighter complected woman, especially black/mixed race be careful here. The dark skinned black girls are prejudiced as heck towards you! They are very quick to help out the white women but will follow and turn their noses up at the black women who are of fairer skin. Even if you are a light toasty brown, if you are lighter than they are, you will get treated like trash. Be careful!

Surprised by how unkept, aged, and damaged the displays were in this store. Literally nothing looked enticing to buy. We did enjoy friendly customer service though.

What I wanted was out of stock!!!! 🥴🥴 I usually dont shop Ulta beauty but this particular product that I wanted was at Ulta. I asked the sale clerk did they sale the item at Sephora cause I rather Sephora any day

I made an appointment with a Sr. Stylist for my daughter, it was her wedding day. Sent pictures of the style she wanted to the Sr. stylist a week in advance, arrived to find no Sr. stylist on duty and had to take the only person they had. Unfortunately it was her fist day on the job and my daughter was her first client ever. Her hair was fine if she was going to play in a softball game, messy braids with flyaway hair everywhere, just plain messy. The girl that did my hair did not do a good job either, it was so bad I did not want to take pictures.

Very courteous and helpful staff. I had a very pleasant experience while shopping at Ulta. I will definitely recommend to all of my family and friends to shop there.

Went in for a simple haircut wanted long layers and even took a picture to show the lady what I wanted. If you cant do something dont say you can do it my hair looks nothing like the photo i showed her at all and its very short and messed up. Very disappointing

Ulta beauty is my go to not only for makeup and skincare (sometimes) but with their points system and coupons. Ill admit though, if you want drugstore makeup and say you dont have an Ulta coupon or enough money, go to Walmart to get those kind of makeup products which will be cheaper.

I absolutely love their makeup selection. My go to makeup store! I hate that theyre always out of the hottest products by its super easy to request the products delivered to the store free shipping.

The staff would not even look at me to help. A couple of them were more interested in looking in the mirror at themselves. I finally found what I was looking for and it was out of stock. I settled for something else, and then when I went to check out the lady was not even up there. I waited for a few minutes and then just walked out. I went to Walgreens and got the same exact thing with no problems.

The worst service. I had my things ready but, as always, I look at the mini/travel sized items, by the registers. A rude cashier by the name Adriana, kept rushing me to check out. In the rudest way. i am over here I can check you out now. i am ready whenever you are. and I wasnt even in line yet. I around the makeup still. I heard the male cashier say, Can you like, simmer down?. I cant remember his name but, he was super sweet. Once I got to the register, she continued being rude and passively tossed my items around and in the bag. Kept complaining about her work duties too. She really needs to simmer TF down. after THAT, I get in my car and check my items. My NYX palette was broken. :(

A lot of items are OUT OF STOCK on a regular basis. Staff is hit and miss. A few are nice and helpful, the rest run away. I rarely get my freebies, even when I show up early. Ordered online during a promotion the minute it started and didnt get my free $60 gift with purchase.

If you love makeup like I do you have to go to Ulta Beauty it has everything and under the sun a little pricey but the Cosmetics are well worth it. They have cosmetics and skin-care from Lancome Estee Lauder Clinique and so on all your finer skincare and makeups all-in-one plus the salon if you want to get your hair done I would recommend it to any woman who Loves skin care makeup and finer perfumes!

Where to Begin... I visited this Business on August 21st, 2017, and the reason for my visit was to smell some of the male colognes the have in stock. Take into account I am Male(Mexican). As soon as I walked into the store not 3 minutes in I got accused of stealing a Tester they had in display. And after realizing it was only my sunglasses that i had put in my pocket. They still had the audacity to tell an employee to Fix Some bags in the same lane Where the male colognes where at. Yeah, right he was obviously there keeping an eye on me as if I were some kind of thief. IF YOU ARE MALE BEWARE OF THIS STORE!!

Wonderful first experience at the Salon. I scheduled my appointment online(the website was glitchy so I had to download the app on my phone to get it to work) with Brenda. Quite experienced and very talkative(in a good way). A friend and I both left extremely happy with results and Im definitely going back to her. If youre thinking about trying out Ultas Salon, definitely go to Brenda(shes worth the extra $10).

A Sweet little Ulta! Only thing they dont do (that they should) is automatically add samples in your bag with your purchase. Which they dont. Other than that, cant complain too much!

The girls here have a serious attitude problem. I hate coming in here especially without my make up on. They never ask me if I need any help. I usually order from the the products website to avoid the poor customer service. I spend too much here to be looked down at.

WOW never thought I would write a bad review but this store did nothing to help their costumer after the Christmas holidays. I received an extra Bon Bon palettes and better than sex mascara during a Christmas gift exchange and went to the store to exchange for something else. Also had a perfume that I did not like and wanted another that I did. The lady behind the counter said I am sorry but without a gift receipt or payment receipt we can not help you. I explained that I was not asking for money back just an exchange for something else in their store. Was not willing to do anything for me. Told me that they did not know if the product was bought in the store or stolen. Are you kidding me I explained to them it was a gift from a game and not sure who brought it so I did not have any type of receipt I just want to exchange it for another product for the same value. Nope not going to do that because theft does happen. I even called corporate and they sent an email to the general manager of the store and still a week later I have not heard from them. Called several time and spoke with an Ass. Mang telling me that they want to help me out and would call me back the same day and we would resolve this matter and guess what NO PHONE CALL Again. I can not believe that they would treat a person like this and not help out more than saying NO we cant.

Baytown: Horrible staff they ignore you and act as though they are too good to help a customer. Arrogant attitudes among several of staff and management is fake and could care less if you are in their store or not. I gues the Ulta is there just for employees happiness as customers are definitely in the employees way!!! No money spent

My wifes hair salon experience was found to be lackluster at the very best. The two women professing to be hair stylists proved to be inexperienced when it came to coloring my wifes hair. And because their supplies were in such short order, the hair stylist ended up having to pull color tubes out of the trash to squeeze the few remaining dollops out. Lastly, after only two weeks, the new color had severely faded. It looks bad.We had a very unsatisfactory experience and cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others.
