Well let me tell you I had an emergency and I could not use their restroom so I went down the street to to another nutritious coffee shop and I use their restroom and they had the most amazing blue raspberry iced tea with mango OMG it was delicious so I took that drink cuz I wanted to go back to Beatles and see what they had inside I couldnt even go inside because I had a drink from another establishment, that is wrong so they did not get none of my patronage this is in reply to your reply to me when I first went in there and asked if I could use your restroom it was an emergency you said you have no public restrooms you did not say your restaurants were out of order so I went down the street to another specialty tea coffee shake place where I could use the restroom so I bought my drink there, but I thought I would give you another shot and I could see what was inside of your store, if I could have used your restroom I would have bought my specialty drink there .I would not come back to your establishment ever.

HORRIBLE staff!!!! Went in and was looking around before ordering our coffee. Saw something cool and wanted to take a picture and got YELLED at and told that if we weren’t a paying customer we couldn’t take pictures. Left immediately. Could have greeted us and kindly asked us to not take pictures when we entered the store. Smelled weird in there too

Staff was extremely friendly and greeted us right away, the atmosphere is amazing and the coffee satisfied!Will definitely be coming back again sometime, the staff allowed us to look around and take pictures too!

The drink was not very coffee like at all. It was more like a milkshake than a coffee drink. I didnt like it and for 8 bucks, thats not my cup of coffee.

The owners are great people. Sadly, due to the ongoing pandemic, the inside of the cafe is closed to public and not available for a tour. So plan your visit only for a quick coffee stop or say hi to the great people here.Takeout servings are still available but sadly well have to wait more to be able to truly experience this place again.

Terrible staff. We got yelled at rudely to stop taking pictures, we could’ve been told a lot more nicely. We got yelled at and then the employee walked us to the door and slammed it behind us. We were planning on buying something but we’re so turned off by the horrible staff. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Right off, my Mom and I were warned (lectured?) to keep an eye on my three year old daughter…. as if we wouldn’t?I could forgive that; so I talked with the barista about syrups and chose one. She made the drink, we went outside and it was made with fake sugar (tasted terrible). I had chosen a white chocolate syrup made with cane sugar because I can’t have HFCS, and the barista and I had discussed that. She made my drink with the fake sugar without telling me and when I went back in she said she made it with the fake sugar because she couldn’t open a new bottle of syrup….?My solution would be to give the customer the options of my open syrups made with cane sugar, not to switch them to fake sugar without asking.She DID remake my drink; though she was now cool/polite instead of friendly-ish.Then as we were hanging out outside, the employees came out several times and seemed to be keeping an eye on us.I’d cautiously give this place one more chance, but service would have to improve significantly on a second visit.

Fun little coffee shop full of Beatles memorabilia. Kind of cluttered, but baristas are very friendly and know their business. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Two or three small tables inside allow for you to see something new on every trip.Did I mention great coffee?

The co-owners are very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is kitschy and fun! The coffee is strong and they will make it to suit you. We had a fun conversation with both co-owners over the course of our visits. They went out of their way to give us great service. The mixed coffee drinks are okay- but the coffee itself is very good. We only tried a couple items and the menu is extensive so I’m sure there’s something to please everyone.

Beatles and Beans has coffee Hot or Cold. I had a delicious Hot Chocolate in a cute Mug. Owner was rather talkative and was very nice. Great way to spend a day with girls that I went to 4th and 5th grade with at Merrill School in Flint Michigan back in 68-69.

The coffee shop itself is one of the coolest vintage nostalgic places Ive been. Beatles memorabilia litters the entire building, and the tunes are groovy. Sadly, thats where things stop being awesome.Went in with my girlfriend during Bay City fireworks because we both needed some coffee. I didnt plan on needing cash, seeing as how almost everybody that sells things has a means of reading a card in 2019... Well not Beatles and Beans. My girlfriend, who thankfully had 5 dollars in cash on her, was the only one able to get any coffee. The staff? They were also not very welcoming at all. Seemed like we were a bother to them.Get with the Century Beatles and Beans. And work on your customer service.

I absolutely love this place! The owners are the nicest people ever! Never once had I had a bad coffee. I love the frozen super charge. You can tell its a great quality even the ice is coffee. You see them make it and they are always so happy and joyful its infectious! I did see some comments about them not allowing you in with other coffee will try bringing in a random pizza in a pizza place. It just a respect thing. I just wish my schedule started a little later cause Id pick this place over any! ♡

Nice people, but - okay 1) cash only? In 2018? 2) Menu board said $3.77 for small cappuccino and I got charged $4.50; 3)If you’re going to be a coffee shop learn how to make the drinks! A ‘dry’ cappuccino is one with less than 1/3 milk, and the rest foam. In a 12oz drink that would be about 2oz of milk and 6 of foam; It’s so you can taste the coffee. I got a latte with extra foam, which is the opposite of what I asked for.

I would go there every weekend when I lived in Bay City and now I make special trips from Midland just to get their iced and hot chai. Definitely a must if you’re in the downtown area for a pit stop!

Staff is very kind. Coffee is fantastic atmosphere is the reason youll come though. It has the most memorabilia of the Beatles Ive ever seen in my life. If youre going, stay inside and drink your coffee. But mainly drink in the arts, music, and everything it has to offer.

I can not clearly think of any other place to have a coffee, flavored, original, expressed or other way, than here at Beatles And Beans. During the summer, you can sit outside and enjoy a cold delectable delight with a dessert treat while gawking at the passersby. A fantastic way to impress a date, or renew an old love. Or just hold hands. A Friendly Staff, that will try and deliver whatever you ask or dream. You will not be Disappointed in any way. The memorabilia will keep you astounded why you enjoy your beverages, and add rejoice to your return trips...A Must Visit.

The decor in this coffee shop is AMAZING!! There were 8 in our group and we all really liked the Frappes & Smoothies that we ordered. I thought a.... little....pricey but definitely delicious and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The coffee is first rate, as are the cappuccinos, lattes, and French steamers. Brad and Peggy know their stuff and are proud of their product, which is worth a bit more to me when taken into consideration. Ive seen others come and go but this place has survived because its done properly. Support a local business that has a soul and is congenial. Places like these have become all too rare gems. Enjoy!

Well, I made a TWO HOUR drive to see this place only to find out its closed inside! Which is not stated anywhere online. Oh, and for the price/quality of the coffee I was not impressed.

I love this place, such nice folks and such a unique atmosphere. Just a word of advice before you go: IT IS CASH ONLY! But it is well worth the money.

If I liked coffee, this place would of been great. Just odd enough to be awesome. Had a great date here and the staff legitimately cares if you are enjoying yourself. Didnt have the heart to say I didnt like the beverage. It was delicious dont get me wrong, but as I mentioned I dont like coffee. Just wanted a place to spend time with the girl I was interested in.

My favorite coffee shop here, when you step through the door you are sent back in time to the middle of Beatemani! Celling to floor Beatles. The selection of drinks are delicious, when Im in house I have the Nutty Monkey Moca, while at home I have their Jalapeno coconut grounds. Is to be noted its cash only but its worth the experience to have some cash on hand. You will enjoy every minute of being in here.

Lots of Beatles items to look at, good music in the background, tasty treats and beverages (I recommend the dark chocolate gingerbread cookies and Tropical Passion Mango Smoothie 😊) and very friendly owners! Hope to stop by again 🎶🎶

Coffee and drinks were not good. The man told me he’d add “a few drops of blackberry for each eye”?? Then charged us extra for it. Staff is rude and won’t let you use the bathroom unless you buy something. Also seems annoyed when you ask for anything. This all sucks because the cafe itself is so cool, but if you’re not a paying customer they don’t want you to loiter around for long.

The staff are very nice and the food and drinks are very good.

Unique coffee house with a Beatle collection that is beyond amazing. Owner is friendly and outstanding menu of coffee drinks, smoothies, sodas and snacks. We will be back. I would say the only draw back is, cash only and no public restroom.

I hate to give reviews that are less than 4 or 5 but I felt compelled to make sure I gave this review tonight. I will start by saying that I would give the drinks that we ordered a solid 5, so if youre only worried about that then no need to worry. Im not from Bay City but was there this afternoon for the Tall Ship Festival and had stopped in Beatles and Beans a few times before when I would go to Sempliners when I was getting married with my wedding party. Tonight my service was less than par. I felt like if I was there for the first time I would never go back. We were waiting to place our order and the man behind the counter was obviously busy. Im sure they had a lot of business earlier in the day with the large crowds that the Tall Ship festival brought in. At this time though, there was no one else in line. He would look at us and say something like hi, how are you. And would go back to facing the other way and cleaning or doing something else. We waited patiently. I figured he was busy doing something and we were not in a hurry. Finally, he rudely said that we needed to talk to him and he cant make us anything without us telling him what we wanted. The way he said it was fairly rude. I was taken back. I personally wouldnt want to be the rude customer that doesnt care if youre busy and just blurts out what they want without a care for whats going on. I thought a nice what can I get for you? Or what would you like? Would have been more appropriate than being rudely spoken to because I didnt blurt out my order to someone who wasnt facing me and was cleaning something up. I dont think Ive ever been to a restaurant/coffee shop or any other place of service alike where you were expected to talk to someones back of the head.I know its not a huge deal but I felt like it was super rude.After our orders, a teenager came in and wanted to order a drink. After finding out that it was cash only he said he couldnt do it and would come back because he didnt have cash on him and his grandparents were sitting outside and ran out to get cash. The same guy instantly made some snarky rude comments about him, loud enough for me to hear, as he was leaving.My rating was a 3 because I would give their customer service a 1 and their drinks a 5.

My husband and I wanted to look around this place because there are signs out front labeling it as a museum. We got a few steps in and a man approached us saying we had to leave because we had our 8oz cups of hotel coffee in hand. He said if we wanted to leave our coffee outside and order coffee there we could stay. We left.

Never have I walked into a building and been so pleased by the obvious love an owner holds for his business. Its rare to to find a blank space on the wall where a piece of beatles memorabilia isnt placed. The staff is wonderfully friendly and i plan on making this a permanent place in my heart
