I have used many storage units over the years. As I might have a problem collecting family records and heirlooms. But I digress. In over 20 years of storing things all over the US I have never been as happy with a facility and staff as I am with them. Staff is fantastic. They care about what they are doing for sure. The space is always clean, there are always carts when I go there. Any questions I have had have been quickly and professionally answered. I have been trying to down size and will soon be moving into my third storage unit. This one is probably as small as I will be able to go while living here in Baton Rouge. When I called to inquire about a storage unit, I had no idea of what size I would need. The Manager on duty, Teresa Price, was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to help me find the right size for my belongings. It took away most of my worries when I found a temporary home with Life Storage. I would suggest this facility because it’s new, has surveillance cameras, offer different size units, different levels, it’s clean, climate controlled and the lighting is bright at night. Easy, fast and friendly service!

Clean safe place where the kids can store their stuff for college.

So I was at the Life storage off of Perkins and it was so much better than this one for some reason. This facility, located close to LSU, has a grand total of 2 carts. FLIPPING 2!! About half the time I go either Im looking for a cart or someone is looking for me to see if Im done with the one I have. Its absolutely ridiculous. Ive complained and so have other people but to no avail.Also, the A/C in the place must be turned up higher than the other facility because. Seems a lot warmer and more humid than the other facility.So if you live in between the two facilities use the one on Perkins, not this one.
