This is about the ladies I met today, I wanted to have a ring a brought from somewhere else and these ladies where professional polite and honest. They all but begged me to take it where I purchased because it would void me warranty even breaking down how. They were “like we can do it we can take your money but that’s or the right thing to do”!!! They explained things to me so I would make the right decision! I took my ring to the place I brought it from but thank you ladies for your help to keep me from making a big mistake!!!

Love that they have an on-site jeweler makes customizing, repair and upkeep great! Turnaround on ordering the engagement ring for my fiance was two weeks 😀 it probably would have been faster considering they had to alter the mount for a princess cut diamond

Employees can use training on how to better assist customers from all walks of life without preconceived notions. The first lady passed us off to someone else without explanation. The next lady did not seem to want to help after I showed her two designs to give her an idea of what I was looking for style wise. She started pointing out the price with much emphasis on the things she showed us. Finally, she says, From what you showed me, we do not have anything in that price range you are looking at on your phone. Well, I was not looking in the range she saw on my phone. Her tone was dismissive. At that point, I decided there was no reason to continue. The employees which represented Jared did not want to assist us due to their practice of classism and stereotypying. This company needs to clean up their policies on morale and treatment of their customers if they plan on succeeding in a socially conscience, diverse and forward thinking society. I left feeling sick about that encounter. This was one of the worst experiences of my life.

Terrible customer service, the First Lady passed us on to someone else. 6 employees in the store and two customers but it took an hour and a half to get two links installed in my watch. Will never be back here. The manager sat at her desk and watched the phone ring while playing on her cell phone. Until one of her “favorite” customers came in and was assisted by three employees....won’t be back.

Went to Jared’s for a repair of my gold necklace. Had it repaired there once before for around $35. Same necklace broke again. Went back and was given a quote of $150.00! Some new system now in place. Went to another jeweler and was changed $24.00. Won’t be shopping anymore at Jared’s.

Had a bad experience at this Jareds. The customer service from an agent named Charlotte was horrible. We were told different things by two people across two different days. There was obviously a miscommunication b/c when we came back the next day it was a different story. I think they could have handled the issue better, with a less accusatory tone. Overall we were very disappointed with the attitude we received. You are better served taking your business elsewhere.

Bought an engagement ring from here. It wasnt the right ring for my fiancee so I went back to utilize the return policy. They tried for over half an hour to get me to swap it out instead. After putting my foot down they finally processed the return. We decided not to return to look at other rings after that experience. Its now 21 days since processing my return and I havent received my refund. Buy local!

This Jared store has the best customer service of any jewelry store, by far. I purchased my wifes engagement and wedding ring from here. My wedding band was purchased from here as well. All of my experiences with their staff has been nothing short of perfect. I highly recommend this Jared store to anyone looking to by that special piece of jewelry.

Horrible customer service. We went in to look at an engagement ring-we were in the store for 20 minutes before I went up to an employee and asked for help. When I did she said, I can not help you right now. Later the manager came to another couple that a salesmen was already working with to aid in her helping with a sale. Never once did we get addressed. My suggestion is to spend your money where its valued.

I gave them a lower score because of the difficulties with receiving bands that needed to be re-ordered. I understand that it takes time to receive wedding bands; however, I would like to be informed on its process. The service varied depending on the employee. I will say that there are some ladies who are very professional.

I bought my wife a diamond ring a couple of years ago from Jared near the Mall of LA, only 3/4 of a mile from my house. I figured that wed found a good jewelers to take cared of the jewelry my wife has and my watches. I went there a few months ago to get a battery for my watch and was told that since I didnt buy my watch there, they wouldnt let me pay for and get a new battery from them. After going only there for the last few year I figured that wed get good service for all our needs, no we didnt. I wont be going to get it from Jared from now on. Ive brought my business back to Pattons Jewelers.

Extremely poor service and the Manager and Asst Manager are not customer friendly.I ordered a new ring for my 25th Anniversary and was told that it would be here on the Dec.19th but it still hasn’t made it to me and it’s Jan1st.I wouldn’t buy a bottle of water from this establishment again let alone a Diamond Ring.The Manager doesn’t return phone calls and the Assistant Manager seems like she doesn’t want to be bothered, I would’ve purchased more jewelry from them if the outlet was managed better and more timely.

I had the worst experience with this lady named Angela, it was to the point I will never go back or recommend any of my friends and family to go there. She tried to turn the sale over to a lady named Charlotte, she was no better. She never listened to what it was I was telling her, she only keep trying to offer me the Jared account. I was at the doctor and noticed my diamond was missing and new that this month I needed an inspection. Well, I went in and explained to them what went wrong and the man was really nice and sympathetic. He looked up our information and seen we may have missed an inspection and we needed to wait for the manager. Life gets the best of us sometimes because February was when we needed to get it done. Well life for us was a little bit down around that time and I forgot. The manager came over and was nothing but in my opinion rude. I understood that it was my fault that I missed it but she made me feel like I was in the wrong place. She told us nothing we can do sorry, but that sorry wasnt sympathetic at all. I am a human please treat me like one. My engagement ring was everything to me. It was something that was truly priceless to me. Its just so hard to explain how much that ring meant to me. My fiancé worked so hard for that ring. All I really wanted was Im sorry we are unable to help you but have you looked here or there just for the person to be caring. But no I got look in your car most people find them there that right there shattered me because she told me while I was walking away so everyone could hear. I will never get my ring back but I will now know never to go back to Jared. I want to say thank you Jared for my ring but not worth it in the end.

In Baton Rouge service is hit and miss anywhere, and here is no different. I found it most frustrating that I received different information from various employees regarding ring sizing, exchange, and cost. For example, I bought my fiancé a Vera Wang engagement ring packaged with the wedding band. I purchased these October 2017 and just received it at the end of March after many attempts of calling. I was also not told that Vera Wang rings would have to be exchanged if it needed to be sized over 2 ring sizes. Overall, service could be better but the ring is beautiful.

Worst EVER service you can get from a store. The employees profile you before they decide to help you, if your in there for Pandora or repairs, no one wanna help you. They only wanna push credit on you, they approach is do you wanna have a Jared account. They keep trying to force that on you the entire time your in there. I saw the bad reviews & decided to go anyway to give them a chance. I came to get my ring cleaned & they opened up a credit card without telling me. I was completely blind sided & beyond upset. I asked to speak to the manager & they told me it was too late the account had been opened without so much as a signature & gave me a number to get myself out of the mess they made. I was planning on coming here to get my fiancé’s wedding band. I would suggest going anywhere else or at least making the trip to another Jared’s location customer service was definitely not up to par.

I purchased a monogram gold necklace for my mother as a Christmas gift last year, which of course had to be customized and ordered. Unfortunately, my mother didnt attempt to wear it until a few months later, well after the return or exchange period. At that point, she let me know that the necklace did not lay correctly on her neck. She stated that the necklace would move around and not lay centered and she didnt like that. Unbeknownst to me, the way the necklace was designed, there was no way it would stay centered is what I later found out. We both went back into the store last month to see what could be done about it and this is the reason Im sending you this email. We met with one your store representatives, Dorkas, and she was so very pleasant to work with. She stated that our complaint was a legitimate one, but it was past a period that Jared could make it right. However, she stated she would see what could be done because she wanted my mother to be happy with her purchase. She immediately called back that same day and told me that I could bring it back and that they would fix the issue. I went in on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 to pick it up, and all I can say is that my mother is now one happy camper and so am I. Dorkas had them put a bell in the center of the monogram, which then forces the monogram to lay centered. How they were able to fix the chain (not that it was broken, but it held the monogram on each end by loops) to now work and be a complete one link chain, Ill never know. I just know that Im happy that my mom is happy with the purchase we made for her and thats all I ever wanted. Dorkas has renewed my faith in the Jared brand and now Im a customer for life! Thanks so much!!!

My Fiancé purchased my ring online in February of 2015. In April of 2015 I had two diamonds fall out of my ring. Again in August, and December of 2015 more diamonds fell out. Each time whenever I brought it to the Jared store in Baton Rouge, they made sure to fix it as soon as possible. Unfortunately it happened again, now (at the time) in April of 2016. I brought my ring in and they went above and beyond to make sure this wouldnt happen again, and let us pick a new ring (in the same price range) of our choice. Hopefully this will not be an issue with my new ring! Other than that, the service was excellent each time. All employees were very polite, and made sure our expectations were met.

The Jeweler is inexperienced he messed up a relic from World War II that I was having made into a pendant.I get so angry every time I think of this I wanted to give it to my husband at a very vulnerable time to help him get through the loss of his father.I have not been able to give it to him yet, I havent had the courage to show him what this ma. My dream of getting my engagement & wedding ring from Jared’s has been a complete disappointment from the beginning. I wish I could give them zero stars.The design and cut of the rings were designed perfect for me by my husband, however Jared’s customer service to deliver us the quality we deserved was the disappointing part.Customer service there is very poor no matter what time of the day you go or call. Every representative gives you different answers about the products and services. There is no consistency. My center diamond was sold to my husband with a chip in it, it was never brought to our attention until I mentioned it to my husband and he went in for an inspection of the ring. They sent the ring off to replace the diamond due to our insurance plan purchased on the ring. We have been told different dates the ring will be back several different times and the ONLY consistent thing we are told is that “there is no update from the corporate office”.I called this morning around 10:00 questioning the status of my ring, I was assured my the employee the ring was ready, and when I asked “does that mean I can pick it up today”, she rudely said yeah. Well Lord and behold I leave work early to beat traffic and get there around 2pm for another employee to tell me the ring isn’t there!!!! Are you freaking kidding me????!!!!!Now I still don’t know how many more weeks it will be before I get my ring.One thing for sure is, I WILL NEVER do business with Jared’s or its affiliates such as Zales or Kay Jewlers again. I will make sure to encourage anyone that I meet not to go there either. I felt that I was a good customer having purchased my husband’s wedding band, a men’s Movado watch, diamond earrings and a Coach watch in addition to my rings my husband purchased from there, but this is the “appreciation” I’m rewarded.Thanks for ruining my wedding experience and my birthday today Jared’s.

By far my favorite jareds! I have only been to 2 in texas but I was passing through and had some extra time on my hands. Store was very busy and after about 20 mins Angela said she noticed my long wait, came over and helped me. Asked what i needed. I told her i didnt know if i wanted to buy a necklace or a ring, she showed me all their options and was surprisingly able to produce what i had in mind. Very satisfied 5 stars does not do them justice. Angela definitely deserves recognition she took the time to go over every piece explain the cut of the diamonds and clarity. I went there knowing nothing about jewelry and thanks to her im more educated and will definitely be using any Jareds again if their customer service is remotely close to what i experienced here

Trying to force you into a credit card when I had the money to buy it. On top of the interest is high on the payment plan. The store manager Angela is who forcing the Jared account, I read the information on it and to me I wouldnt consider it. Instead of me buying anything I walked, it was like cash wasnt good enough for her, she just keep pushing the Jared account. Horrible experience, I could have incontered.

If I could, I would give 0/5 stars. I received my engagement ring about three days ago. I was on vacation and didnt wear it much because I was scared to lose it (loose fit). When I was wearing it, we were just out to dinner or getting dessert. After the long 10 hour drive back home, I decided to pop into this store to purchase a plastic or rubber ring size adjuster. I should have just gone straight home. I should have listened to my gut feeling when I walked in and hardly any of the associates looked up or moved from their spot. I think I got a quiet welcome or maybe my imagination.I ask for a ring size adjuster, associate thinks Im looking to resize my ring. I politely correct him and he offers me a metal ring adjuster although I asked for a plastic kind. Either he didnt hear me or chose not to. They quote me at $34 for the adjuster. Im tired and just ready to get this problem dealt with until I can send the ring out to California to be resized (where it was purchased).Mind you, Ive only hardly worn this ring and when its handed back I notice ridges in the band (like I can graze my nail along it and I can feel indentions) from where the associate applied the adjuster. He was using pliers to apply it, so I imagine he wasnt very careful and grazed it up. I brought it to his attention and he brushes it off, saying it was normal for rings to collect wear and tear and that the company I bought it from can polish it. (By this point he knows the company is located in Cali). Oh but he offers to have it cleaned. They can clean my ring but not polish it for me? I politely declined. Also apparently the price is $36.99. A few dollars off, whatever. I really should have just asked him to take it off then and left the store but I was tired and ready to leave.I hate the adjuster. Its bulky and doesnt really do much for the fit. Its either too tight or too loose on my finger. I call in to see if I can return it because I also feel like its only damaging my ring. The associate I spoke to said I could return the ring adjuster if I have the receipt. Cool. I drive out there and ask for the associate I spoke to. She doesnt even look up to greet me whenever Im directed to her. At that point Im like, well I just want to make a return so anyone can help. Then Im told that it cant be returned. Why would I hear differently then? Your associates should all know this then and not tell me otherwise. So Im irritated because I made the drive out there for nothing. Again, Im told that the adjuster couldnt have damaged my ring. Its normal wear and tear he says (the man who applied the adjuster). I tell him it was most likely the pliers and he was careless using them around the band and he tries to tell me that he wasnt anywhere near that part of the band. I literally watched him take the pliers and squeeze down over the center of the adjuster and band to drop it lower to fit my finger. Im stunned with how they deny responsibly. Honestly the ring only has these ridges and scratches where the adjuster was applied.Im done at this point and ask if they can at least remove it because I dont want it to be damaged any further. At this point he offers to have it polished which is hilarious considering how he said they couldnt do that when I bought it. I politely turn down the offer because I do not trust them with my ring.TL;DR: To keep it short, these associates and the manager do not care about the customer. I asked for a simple ring size adjuster and in their application, they damaged my ring and denied to polish it. Denied all responsibility of any damages (no matter how small). Only offered to polish it after I complained but at that point I didnt trust any of them with my ring. They are more concerned with making sales. Dont waste your time at this store. Seriously.

So I went in to look at rings and we decided I wanted a ring at zales they told me I couldn’t go to get an account at zales and that it wouldn’t work because they gave the same bank. Now how is that possible?? I went back to zales after being completely let down with customer service being told that I was not listening and that my dream ring couldn’t be mine. So zales told me the girl that helped previously worked at zales and she didn’t want me back at her old work place well safe to say I went back to zales got the ring of my dreams and will never EVER go back to Jared’s ever.

The time piece manager will allow an employee to waste your time removing links from a metal wristwatch band, only to inform them that theyre not allowed to work on certain pieces (moto 360) and will turn the guest away. Definitely not shopping here, cant even consider it a legitimate jeweler if they cant do such simple work.

After ordering my ring, my fiance was called to come and pick it up. A week later, Jareds called him back asking if he had proposed yet because they had given him the wrong ring. After returning the ring, my fiance and I went to the store to pick out a custom band. We ordered the custom band May 8th and the band had a promise date of June 30th. I was told they needed my ring for only two weeks in order to create the wax for the bands. After numerous encounters, I was not able to receive my ring back until after June 30th! Although they returned the ring, the band was not completed on the promise date. My wedding was July 10th and after numerous disagreements, my fiance picked up the bands at 6:30pm on July 9th!! On my wedding day, I was presented with the wrong bands! My husband did not tell me at the time because he did not want to add stress to such a beautiful day, but it was very frustrating to have waited so long and still did not receive the correct product. It was also embarrassing when family members asked to view the ring or take pictures of the ring and the ring was not what you expected! I later went back to resolve the problem and right now they are still working on my bands. The $500 off is NOT worth the trouble. Choose someone else.

Be mindful of Angela she is the store manager, she come off as a nice person. Her intention are no where close to carrying for the customers, their are two more you have to watch out for. Mary and the only Caucasian older male that work there. Jared is all about putting you in debt, if you have the money to buy the product, they will try there hardest to make you open up an Jared account. Just so you can be in debt and pay more for the actual item you intended to walk in and out of with. Overall the experience is horrible if youre not interested in opening up a Jared account, you will eventually see the customer service change and they will eventually start pushing you off. Overall horrible and poor customer service!!!
