On October 15 I decided to pop the question and went on a mad search via the Internet at Zales website to find the perfect ring. I finally found the one I want it with availability in basically every size. Zales online also Offer 10% off which made this very appealing. Before ordering off of the Internet I decided to go in the sales location located in the mall of Louisiana and was assisted by a sales person named Lakisha. Before I went on the hunt i sized one of my girlfriends rings with a caliper reading 14.4 mm to give sales person an idea of ring size… Lakisha told me that my measurement did not or would not equate into a ring size which was odd because it seems like I saw the mm to ring size conversions on zales website. Miss Lakisha then tells me that the only ring size they have is a seven and I could get it resized after I present it to my new fiancé. I finally convince my fiancé to part with the ring so it can be resized by Zales taking approximately two weeks according to Lakisha. When we arrived at the mall on October 26 Lakisha was not present and another sales associate informed me that it will cost about $100 to get resized. Point being I should have bought on the Internet and received the size that I measured for so I would not feel obligatedTo pay more money on an item that should have had the sizing included for the amount you pay. The lady that was helping us because Lakisha was off was about as condescending to me and my fiancé as you can be… Fussing at us for wanting to go look at bridal sets to complement the ring, you can’t walk around the store unaccompanied”. I understand store policy but what I did not get was why were three other customers allowed to wander around store at their own leisure without being reprimanded. I would avoid going to the mall location and ask plenty of questions including information about resizing before you complete purchase. At the end of the day I feel like someone that was Rushed into a purchase that was very important in life just so someone could get a quick commission

I’m only giving a two because my ring is beautiful but I have as of yet to wear after purchasing it a month ago. Online send only one of a three piece 10k set. Store only has size 7 which I wear but the band is so thick it had to be re sized. On a brand new purchase they charge for resizing. Then it cost so must you might as well get warranty for only a hundred more. And repair status link shows no updates. Ring finally arrived but store is closed with no eta for when it will open!!!!

Ive had to have my wedding ring repaired 3x in less than two months. Each time i pick up my ring less than a week later another diamond would fall out. I dont know what they are doing but i have not been able to wear my rings in over 2 months. Not happy.

They called me to come in for a sale in the store 😁, I felt special 😍👑 I got there and the line wasnt long and the sales staff were friendly 🤗 since Id already ordered some stuff online prior to going in for my appointment I only bought a necklace 📿🤫😘

So I am appalled that a big company such as ZALES is making customers kepup with a slip of paper as a means of keeping records of inspections of their jewelry! This is dinosaurs living. I change purses on a weekly basis. Why cant this be kept up with in your computer system???!!!!

The Store Manager is OUTSTANDING. She absolutely took her time and made me feel so appreciated shopping this Christmas. I told her I was a Veteran and felt right at home for reasons of why I serve my Country. Thank you so much. LITERALLY THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!

My mother started a tradition of buying me jewelry from Zales for Christmas. In January, I had dropped my jewelry off for cleaning and my mother unexpectedly passed a few days later. My earrings were not scheduled to be ready for a week or so ( I dropped them for the deep cleaning and inspection), but when I called the store the representative was more than awesome and got my earrings back with 3 days so I could wear them to her funeral. This will forever mean so much to me and although this is late, I do want to share my appreciate for the team members in the store for it.

Displays were exceptional. Service not so good. Word to the wise. “ That guy standing there with paint stained jeans W/ a little sawdust on his shirt . That dude works really hard and his business does pretty well. And he really LOVES his wife.....!!!!???!!!.....”. So a little less stereo typing and a little more salesmanship you would have probably made that quota you were complaining about ......... just saying....

Ill make this short and sweet, IF I CAN AT THIS POINT!!December 8, 2016, my now fiancé went into Zales and purchased me an engagement ring.He proposed to me on my birthday, December 14, 2016 with a TEMPORARY ring that Cindy, the sales lady gave him until my actual ring came in. She told him that my ring would come in after Christmas. So its been a little while since weve heard from them and so I tried to call to follow up and make sure everything was okay with our order. I called the store phone 6 times today, I got no answer. So I went to the Zales website and called the customer service number that was on the site. I spoke to the lady, Mercedes. She asked me for all of the information, she couldnt find our order. She said the only David Bradford that made a purchase in December was in a Texas store and had a Texas address. So I told her that we dont live in Texas, we are in fact in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.Long story short I told her that I was gonna go to the store to see whats wrong with my order and why cant it be located. I get off the phone with her and I go to the store. I waited for a good 30 minutes to be seen. I talk to the lady, dont know her name. Was never told.I told her that customer service said my order cant be located, etc. So, she pulls up my account and it says that my special order was rejected because the ring was discontinued. Im thinking, why didnt anyone call and let us know about this. The lady tells us that she can issue us our money back on a card or check because its over $200. We paid cash but I understand that part. I just dont get why they didnt call us about any of this junk.Im so mad right now. I seriously cant even get over this!

Absolutely trash. Poor customer service. Actually NO customer service. Rude employees. They never answer the phone. 1 it of 10 calls was answered from my experience. They are very unorganized. Hardly can consider it a business. Very disappointing.

Zales in The Mall of Louisiana is horrible. Sales uses a third party to fix their repairs. The company that repaired my ring the first time took almost 3 months to fix it. I enjoyed my ring for 3 weeks and it broke again. Brought it back to get repaired and 2 months later I still have no ring.

Avoid this retailer at all costs. My engagement ring was purchased from Zales. Within 6 months, 3 of the smaller stones in the pave setting had fallen out. As if that wasnt bad enough, the ring had to be sent off to be repaired for 5 weeks! 5 weeks away from my ring, causing me to have to reschedule my engagement photos (at a steep fee).After the 5 weeks had elapsed, I called the store on the scheduled pick-up day only to be told that the ring was not ready. To add insult to injury, I had to call the store multiple times before anyone picked up; this was all during business hours, mind you. I wouldnt wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Horrible is all I can say. I get different information everytime I call to check on my ring. A week ago someone told me it would be in any day now and another person says its still getting repaired. Can never get an accurate status on where my ring is. Had my ring for 4 months and a Diamond fell out. This hasnt been the only problem Ive had with them either. When my ring got sized they had it for a week back at the store and never called me. And when I brought my ring to the store recently, it took them 30 min to find us in the system. Blows my mind!!

Was told it would only take a week to resize my ring as a new purchase (meaning I never got to wear it/it never left the store). Its been a week. I called for updates and all I get is We will call you back in 10 minutes. And then never get a call back. Call the 1-800 customer service line and it tells me that my wait time is 19 minutes. People are pouring in thousands of dollars on this jewelry and Zales takes WAY too much time to get the product to the customers. This is ridiculous. Not the first run-in weve had with them but it will be our last.

Terrible experience. Took my engagement ring in for repairs 7 weeks ago. Estimated completion time was 4 weeks ago. No updates available. No accommodation for the fact that I was moving out of the country. No customer service skills.

Costumer service, what? I don’t think they know what that means. The lady that “attended”me was very rude and had an attitude, my husband asked me to take my ring to get resized and I did not have the receipt as I was getting details from him on the phone, she walked off like we had not already spent our money here. I’ve purchased many things at Zales before I just think this store in particular needs better personnel, who are willing to attend to the customers needs. Because the current personal lacks personality and charisma. They obviously don’t realize their check depends on the costumer. I wish I would of read the reviews before going, would of saved me some trouble! I’m actually glad that inefficient lady couldn’t find our purchase, it saved me from waiting and stressing afterward. I will NEVER come back!!!

Purchased wifes engagement ring here 2 yrs ago. The band has broken once and the diamond fell out a month ago. She brought in for service and has called several times to see where it is. Each time its conflicting information if they pick up. Always very rude. Still no ring.

I am HIGHLY upset with Zales. My boyfriend purchased a ring from there for me as a gift. Well I received the ring from him on May 2 and within 3 days the ring broke due to the silver being too thin. So we did what anyone else would do with a warranty, we went back and they tried to accuse me of breaking it. Which makes no sense. They sent the ring back and I had it for 3 days and IT BROKE AGAIN. We just went back today and they tried charging us to fix it and the charge costed MORE THAN THE RING. Might I add I HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY. We asked for our money back and they said we just missed the 60 day return because he purchased the ring in April and it came in in May. The ring was in the shop at Zales for a total of 4 weeks getting fixed since I’ve received it in May. I might have worn the ring for a total of 6 days since i’ve received it. I am HIGHLY upset and we will NEVER do business with Zales ever again.
