Normally their products are good but I ordered some tables online to be used as coffee tables and what they delivered was beyond subpar. It was not the stain that i ordered and neirher table was painted entirely. Too many missed spots on the wood. The owner nor the manufacturer would make it right. I know things are difficult during this pandemic but they should at least attempt to give you what you ask and pay for.

Marcus Theriot, my Design Consultant, was extremely helpful in assisting me select the perfect furniture pieces to fit my design style and room size. Having so many custom options can be overwhelming, but he was able to narrow down the perfect selections, which helped me in my decision-making. Even when I second guessed my selections, he reassured me. I look so forward to receiving the furniture specifically designed for me.

The folks at Bassett Furniture in Baton Rouge are great. The company stands behind their products making sure the customer is taken care of and very satisfied. Jordan Long, the General Manager made my buying experience very pleasant and fun. I will always buy my furniture from Bassett. Just as my Mom’s 50 year old Bassett bedroom furniture with it clean, simple lines still looks stylish and in remains in excellent condition, so will my Bassett furniture for years to come!

Marcus was a great help in the store. Very knowledgeable with their products and the many options for finishes, fabrics, etc. He is also a interior designer and that experience helped also with pieces to accompany existing pieces already in our home....

The customer service at Bassett is excellent! The designers are patient, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the design and purchasing process. I am in love with my new sofa - and so is everyone else who walks in my house! I will definitely be going back to Bassett again in the future.

For their pricing you would think you might have some decent customer service. Unfortunately it seems as if they are only concerned with a sale.I was told at the point of sale to expect the delivery of my purchase on a specific date and to go further confirmed this at a later date. Only to be made aware that they wouldnt have the item for 3 additional weeks on the day they originally stated.Furniture looks very nice however it seems like youd be better suited elsewhere.

I worked for Bassett Furniture in Baton Rouge for 5+ years and loved it. While working, I learned a lot about furniture and I must admit, Bassett has some of the best quality furniture in Baton Rouge. The Casemore family treated me with respect and were very nice to me during my employment. Thanks to Peggy, Clint, Kirk, Damon, Joan and especially Ann for making me feel more like family than an employee. Great place to work that offers a superb quality product.

I dont understand what the other reviews are talking about. My experience with Bassett Furniture in Green Brook, NJ, has been excellent. Ive bought from them a few times. A beautiful entryway table, made-to-order bar stools for my kitchen, a decorative end table for my living room, and I recently ordered a tall dresser for my bedroom. The quality of Bassetts furniture it top notch (thus, its not cheap), and I have found the customer service is excellent. I keep going back - every time I realize i need something for my new house. Highly recommended if you want quality high end furniture.

Great professional service! People say they have high end furniture but the ends on the furniture I bought from them had normal ends. They seemed to really care about my needs. I will definitely recommend them to a friend!

Great furniture!

So they were really friendly at first, but we decided to price shop the dining table that we wanted at another Bassett retailer. We are SUPER glad that did because we were able to get the same benchmade custom table for $2000 less. Before we decided to buy elsewhere we went back to the store in order to find out the differences and boy all that friendliness DISAPPEARED. They went as far as to say that their manager was going to the store where we were purchasing to get them in trouble.. blah blah blah. I called corporate and they verified that the store was indeed an official Bassett dealer. Also, it was great to hear one of the managers talking about me to the ladies behind the desk. No thank you! We are loving our table though!

We found a beautiful upholsterd bed and a wonderful mattress at an incredible price. Our salesman Joseph Miller was great to work with.

Save your time and go to a different location or order online. The customer service is deplorable. The sales reps apparently dont know how to treat a potential sale. The rep that decided to help us was arrogant and dismissive. I truly wished that I read these reviews before me and my family set foot in this place.

They never acknowledged I was in the store. I wanted to purchase a cabinet bed.

This review is unfortunate. Sure our sales experience was good when we bought our kitchen table - the staff was friendly and helpful. Our dining set and counter stools were delivered a little later than expected, but not a big issue. I noticed that some of the nail holes used to achieve a distressed look didnt appear as they should. Typically these holes are darker or same color as the finish since the stain colors them. Some of the holes on our table were lighter - like the holes were made after the table was finished. I didnt like this but figured thats how they finish their tables, which is unfortunate. Weve had this table less than one year and it has a 1 year warranty. We eat one meal a day on it and its only cleaned with a damp cloth - no chemicals. Weve been careful with it - its our first nice, new dining set. We started to notice the finish becoming lighter in some spots and some crackling. Then we saw that the finish was wearing off. I contacted the store and the individual i spoke to said he was the store manager. He had me send pictures, and then he sent a technician to take pictures. I was told at first that a new table top would be fabricated and our top would be replaced. I was very pleased with the customer care and was planning on returning very soon to start buying furniture for other rooms in our home. I was then told they needed more pictures and finally the resolution: I was told that they thought how we were cleaning our table (with a damp cloth as specified by the care instuctions) was causing it since water would cause that kind of damage to the finish. They said that I could buy a NEW table and theyd take mine to analyze. If they conculded that the table was defective, theyd reimburse me. So even if I had the extra money lying around to purchase a brand new table, I would bet that they would find a way no matter what to blame us for the finish and not reimburse us. So theyd then make double the money and wed have paid double for 1 table. And theyd probably make triple the money off of it because theyd likely resell the table they took back. So they do not honor their warranty and they have no way of deciphering whether something does or does not fall under warranty without forcing the customer to buy a new one. What kind of warranty is that? They should be honest with their customers and say that they dont back their furniture with any guarantee or warrantee so at least customers know they really get nothing.If that table cant withstand 1 meal a day of use and cleaning with a damp cloth, its not suitable for use as a dining table and Im not paying for another one. Were stuck with this garbage and Bassett is refusing to replace it under the warranty. They dont care for their customers and they dont care to lose repeat business. The corporate office said our warranty is with the store we bought it from, and they seem to not be concerned that this store has deplorable customer service. I cant in good conscience buy any other furniture from them - I have no confidence that it will hold up or that they will honor a warranty if something should go wrong. Im just grateful I found out how they planned to not resolve the issue BEFORE I bought anything else from them.

Their brochures dont reflect what you get. When you call their corporate HQ to complain, they tell you that each store is individually owned and operated, so they tell you to deal with the local store. Never, ever shop there. Why take a chance especially when the furniture is so expensive!
