Team MaineSpace is extremely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful.They did everything they could to help my storage experience pleasant and made me feel welcome.I feel my belongings are safe and protected with the security features & security cameras. The climate control feature is extremely nice to have. The building, property and my unit are impeccably clean & prices are competitive.I can’t imagine storing my belongings anywhere else.

We rented a Penske truck in Kansas, to return to MaineSpace in Bangor. All the staff at MaineSpace were super helpful and VERY accommodating. They even let us park the truck in their lot for a couple days before our return date....which saved us a ton!! Thank you MaineSpace, you guys are awesome!! (And big props to Michelle for being a friendly face when we arrived road weary and worn out...and for backing the truck up and parking it like a boss LOL)

MaineSpace is the BEST storage option in Bangor. During a difficult family transition I came to MaineSpace needing to rent a climate controlled storage unit, I felt like I was treated like an individual more than just another customer. I wasnt expecting to have such a nice experience. Needless to say, they have some great humans working here. The facility and my 5X10 storage unit were both very clean and well-kept. Anyone needing a storage unit should think of a locally owned place like this one!

You guys are always very compassionate and accommodating. You always go the extra mile to help us out. I always feel like my stuff is safe here.I’ve never thought my stuff would ever be tampered with or anything, unlike other places.It’s clean, they offer water bottles and it’s SUPER CLEAN.

It is climate controlled but dont let this factor into pricing. The price is actually the same of not less than normal self storage. I love this place!

Sean was amazing. He was so helpful over the phone and when I arrived he was very polite and professional and easy to talk to. We looked at a few different units and he gave me his best professional decision on what size I would needed. He did also offer me a discount and allow me to rent a truck at the same place. Purchasing a lock was easy as they have them on site at a decent and reasonable price. Sean had great customer service and I would highly recommend Maine space to others.

Rented a moving truck and received great service!

2 1/2 yrs my belongins stayed in there facility. Some was custom made furniture. Everything was still in great shape when i took it all out. Sean and employees were great.Always a smile and willing to help. Facility is clean,spacious and easy access to all storage units.Climate controlled kept my stuff odor,mildew,musty free. No bugs,mice. I highly reccomend Maine Space, especially for long term!

I stored at a facility out on union street once, my furniture, antiques and other items were ruined from mold and animals.I brought my items to MaineSpace for the summer during the construction of my home and everything was in the same pristine condition as when I brought it in.MaineSpace is AWESOME. The staff is very helpful with a clean facility, and its LOCALLY OWNED.

These guys are the best!!! We rented 2 storage units for just over 3 months. The first month was FREE!!While I spoke to quite a few people there and all of them being very kind and polite, I spoke to Sean mostly and he treated myself and my family with extreme respect, helped us with whatever we needed help with and I cannot say enough to recommend MaineSpace because of these fine people! Everything was clean. The place is pretty new. I’m not a person who writes reviews. You could count all of them on one hand and have fingers left over. I felt obliged to write this review because of how well I was treated! You would not be making a mistake using their services.

The manager was very friendly and compassionate. Even when it was really busy and stressful he pulled through. I will gladly do business with MaineSpace in the future!

Excellent facility, the staff is very friendly upfront. I only used my unit for 2 months before moving but will say this is absolutely the cleanest storage facility Ive ever seen. My unit was on the second floor but they have elevators and carts to use so it was still easy to load and unload my stuff. I absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a clean professional storage facility.

I’ve used non-climate controlled self storage in the Bangor area for quite some time. But over time my papers, books, clothes, etc. really suffered from lots of temperature and moisture damage. Lots of stuff got ruined. So, fast forward to last month. My life suddenly went into an unexpected transition. Without sharing the personal details, things quickly became a struggle for me. I needed to downsize my old storage and find a better place where my things would be safe.That’s when I found Mainespace. The facility is brand new and beautiful with all of the climate control and security features I was looking for. The staff is really kind and helpful (managers Sean and Brian!) They patiently worked with me to find the right size and price. It may sound funny but I felt really comfortable because they took their time to listen. They cared about me not just my stuff and renting a unit. This new facility is very local and “Maine” in the best sense of the word. And I think they’re great!

Great, clean, climate-controlled, well-maintained storage units at similar prices to much lower-quality options in the area. They provide great customer service and are always happy to help you out, even with slightly odd requests.

I went to see MaineSpace in October 2018 when I was looking for a space to store my motorcycles for the winter. Ive rented self-storage lockers every winter for twenty years (or so), and theyve all been fine. What I got from MaineSpace was a customer relationship. They knew me, they addressed me by name when I came in. They were helpful. They were kind. Friendly! I had an affordable rate, and a really great, clean, maintained space. There are wheeled carts for people to load their belongings on and roll them in, there are trash cans and RESTROOMS, and lights. The building is SECURE, with cameras and security feeds. They have elevators for their upper floors, which are large and comfortable, and padded. When I was there a few weeks ago to get one of my motorcycles out of storage, the tire was a little flat, they had an air-pump they let me borrow to put a little air in the tire. They sell locks for your storage unit. They can do package pick-up and receipt. And the rates are good! I was well-treated and when I left there today, closing out my locker, I left feeling like I had one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had. And I dont say that lightly. I paid a little more than I was used to, but what I paid for, I felt I got every pennies worth of value out of it. I salute you, MaineSpace. It was truly a pleasure doing business with you. Youll be my first stop in the fall, with pleasure. Thank you for treating me like a human being. :)

I moved to Bangor due to a death. From the initial phone call to getting my storage area to interaction with the fine young men at this facility was very heart warming. I will recommend your facility to anyone and everyone.

I cme late on a Friday in the day because we had a vehicle failure, and a wedding that weekend. They went way out of their way to help me out. The didnt really have anything available, but they moved things around to help me out. It was just awesome.

I can’t say enough about these guys. I just relocated the entire contents of my home from Madawaska in northern Maine down to Bangor. The move was pretty stressful (as you can imagine!). But the staff at MaineSpace couldn’t have been nicer and more professional-thank you Jenna and Sean! This brand new facility is gorgeous! Climate controlled, safe, really clean and secure. The rates are competitive and affordable which actually kind of surprised me for how nice they are. Full disclosure, I did find slightly cheaper storage in a much less convenient location outside of Bangor but it was so crappy with no onsite manager or climate control. But honestly, it was the managers and how caring and kind they were to me over a period of days during my move-in that I remember most. If you’re moving from northern Maine (or anywhere else for that matter!) these guys are wonderful and the facility is amazing!!!
