The salesman was friendly and helpful, and I got the mattress I needed. At the time of purchase, I was told the mattress would be delivered on the 1st of the month (a week from the day I was buying it). The day before the scheduled delivery, I was informed that the mattress wouldnt actually arrive until the 22nd of the month. The salesman told me that this happened to multiple customers. I understand that they cannot control what is loaded on the truck bringing inventory, but how dishonest to tell people their mattress will come in a week if you know theres a chance it will be a month. After canceling my order, I went to The Furniture Gallery and they were very transparent...they even had signs up saying they cannot guarantee delivery time if it isnt already in stock.Oh, and maybe I should say that the mattress that I bought from Mattress Firm was available at The Furniture Gallery for $300 less!

Wanted a decent twin mattress for my dad.... Salesperson showed me a ***used*** twin for $1200 (called it the clearance section... These are mattresses that were bought and returned within two weeks) $1200 was outrageous to me for a twin soThen showed me a $1400 twin... at least this was new...I told him I was looking to spend 500-600 roughly.... He then pulled a dirty twin mattress firm the corner that looked like my grandmas from the 70s and said Ive sold 4 of these today its $299. When he said he didnt have anything in between we left. And found exactly what we were looking for down the road at305 stillwater ave furniture.I guess dont shop mattress firm unless they are having a clearance event??

Came here first and found a magical bed. Then I went furniture, mattresses and more in the mall. Only one bed compared there and mattress firm was offering $300 off the mattress AND a free adjustable frame. SWEET! So we came back to mattress firm and purchased our new cloud (bed) on an interest free credit line for 24 months. (They even approved me so this will start to help my mediocre credit score) Great experience, definitely recommend!

Overall a good experience. Service was prompt and they helped load it into my truck. Most mattresses are not in stock, they bring them up from Portland, however there are sometimes really good deals on damaged or refused deliveries.

Jamie helped us with bo pressure to find a mattress that worked for both my husband and I. We looked ar one of the more expensive ones that I had researched and took us all the way to the least expensive and then we tried the one I had researced in a Firm and that was the one!! We went to the store looking specifically for an in stock mattress to replace one at our camp. We found a display model that was discounted and comfortable and purchased the mattress as well as pillows and sheets. A few minutes later the sales person apologized to us and said that the mattress was already sold after charging us. We asked to be refunded and then went to a local store rather than a chain and were able to walk away with a brand new comfortable mattress and box spring for less money. Next time I will remember to shop local first.

Best bed shopping experience I have ever had.

My boyfriend and I had been researching mattresses to buy and decided to stop into Mattress Firm to try out some different mattresses. There was no plan to make a purchase. When we walked into the store we were greeted by the store manager Dan and he answered any and all the questions we had. Dan worked with us to establish a payment plan to afford the mattress my boyfriend and I both enjoyed. Dan was very welcoming, kind, and helpful! Would buy a mattress from this store all over again and appreciate all the help.

Very difficult to shop with them through their website! You must go into the store. Customer services were not as good as they should be for that size of a store, had to wait around just to get a price on 1 chair, and we weren’t even getting started on all the furniture we needed to purchase.

Jamie, Bangor Mattress Firm sales rep, was informative, friendly and authentic in his customer service to my wife and I. He provided exceptional knowledge in the type of mattress that would work best for my sleep problems, at the best price possible. Although a third-party delivery issue damaged our mattress, Jamie resolved the issue with his manager to quickly replace and deliver a new mattress worth more than the original mattress. Although there was a four-day delay in finally receiving our new replacement mattress, I have not slept this good in over 10 years: back pain gone, peaceful sleep, and at least 7 hours sleep each night!! We bought a new mattress and adjustable base from this location. They are very nice and will do anything to help you get the right stuff and make sure you will be comfortable with your new mattress! We got to meet all of the crew from the sales all the way up to the district managers and I will recommend them to anyone and be back for more beds in the future!

My wife and I checked out Mattress Firm while visiting the Bangor area a couple of weekends ago. The sales people were knowledgeable but not pushy. Would highly recommend going in store, which is what I should have done in the first place. Got burned on a Mattress Firm online order, with the online shipping service suddenly changing their tune once the payment cleared. Thankfully, I got a hold of the folks down in Bangor, and they had a mattress for me and were very accommodating. They helped me pick a mattress at my budget and needs, so I could scrap my current mattress that had broken innersprings stabbing me. They were also able to cancel my bad online order.Moral of the story: Avoid Mattress Firm Web ordering, come visit the real store and talk to someone in Bangor. They turned my 0-star experience into a good one :)
