If I could give them no stars I would. Ordered from them online. Waited and waited, a half hour after the delivery window I tried to call the restaurant and see where my order was. The phone just kept ringing with no answer. Now an hour after when my food should have been delivered I’m putting the credit card charge in dispute instead of eating. This place has lost my business.

Editing my original 5 star review. For the record. The pizza is still great, that said in the last month or so our out of 4 orders they took only 1 was delivered successfully. The rest were canceled within 1 to 2 hours after ordering. Hours are very in consistent. Just all around really frustrating.

Do not order from them online. They will run with your money and never deliver your pizza, leaving you with a customer service nightmare to get your money. It was a total waste of my time, they never the less need to contact their customers to let them know there pizza will never arrive. Beware. I didn’t listen to the recent reviews and wish I did.

Slice App, Google, and Grub hub all said the establishment was open. We ordered and drove 20 minutes to find out it was closed. Wish theyd update their online profiles.

For all the 1-star reviews - you may want to check with your CC companies to verify if there was a charge, but you must have missed the Online Ordering is closed window that pops up when you go to online ordering.And nobody answers the phone because nobody is there. They appear to be closed. The lights are off, the place is empty, chairs are stacked, etc.I can only guess something bad happened, because this occurred without warning and both the website and third parties (Grubhub) claim they are open.

While they make decent pizza (mostly), their employees are rude. I was put on hold for 40 minutes (in total) and disconnected twice. They lost my business after telling me—after waiting patiently for a long time and being disconnected twice—that I had been rude. I do not think I was rude, just stressed at the end of 40 minutes of static. I hope the restaurant owners both consider their employees’ phone training, as I will never go back there. I had been a most loyal customer.

Best pizza Ive eaten in years. I have dreams about it, honestly. Order the Pizza Prosciutto immediately, and dont be put off by the awkwardness of salad greens on top of a hot pizza, which sounds odd. The combination of prosciutto, caramelized onions, fresh arugula, and hot cheese pizza was absolutely, amazingly, delicious! Call them now.

I live close by to this place and it’s pizza is for sure the best I’ve EVER had definitely give it a try, you won’t regret it!

TY so much for having GF pizza that’s not cross contaminate!! Most places don’t go out of there way to make GF pizza without the risk of cross contamination. I have Celiac disease really bad and I have finally found my to go pizza place when I wanna slice!! It’s nice not to be charged extra just for ordering GF too!! Dairy free cheese is also a awesome bonus since I’m lactose as well. Very delicious might I add!! ☺️❤️

Ordered takeout. When I arrived at the restaurant I was the only at the counter. Their were 5 people in the back area but they could see me threw the window. No one said a word to meet for about 7 minutes. The pizza was very good though.

Besides the fact that the pizza was extremely late, and also cold, I was given the wrong pizza. The delivery driver returned with the right pizza, and was confused when I refused to GIVE BACK the pizza I had already opened, breathed on, and taken inside my home. This is concerning, and it honestly makes me scared for other restaurants who may deliver :( Toss did refund my order, but I will not be ordering from here again. Very disappointed.

Ordered the Eggplant pizza and the Spinach Artichoke, and the Cheese. Spent about $63. WORTH EVERY PENNY. This is THE best pizza! I was in mourning when Two Boots Pizza closed. They were the best. Now, TOSS is the best. The cost is justified. You get what you pay for. Im in love.

Im pretty picky about my pizza. This was my second pizza and I love Toss! The crust is fluffy and chewy, not too thin, not too thick, with good flavor. I hope they stay open for a long time!They also have sandwiches (which I have yet to try!) And desserts which are also very good. Try it! You wont be disappointed!

The actual restaurant doesnt disappoint and completely lives up to the description.While serving more than pizza, like salads and sandwiches, the pizza is distinctive in terms of toppings and flavor. The crust is simultaneously fresh and soft. The toppings seem particularly flavorful. Definitely a cut above the typical pizza chain.

Reliable North Baltimore pizza joint that does both standards and upscale pies. Try the Pizza Prosciutto with the greens. Dough rises high here - not a good choice for NYC style, but otherwise excellent.

Toss has the best vegan cheese pizza I have had. They have a really nice soft and chewy dough, and a relatively generous amount of soy vegan cheese (compared to some others), although they could put on a little more tomato sauce. Take out is ready quickly, and their prices are reasonable, and they have a daily sandwich special until 3 or 4 PM. They are across the street from Flight, a fairly new restaurant that also has vegan options. Toss is on York Road about 1/2 mile south of the historic Senator Theater.

Terrible ordering experience. Horrendous. After over an hour trying to get the site to accept my google log in and multiple password changes? I still was unable to place an order. What is even the point of any of these places if you can’t order without giving up you’re entire life identity. Never again.

This is by far the best pizza Ive had in Baltimore. I ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza and it came out hot and fresh. I asked him to do it well done and it was crispy and delicious. It was not particularly greasy, the pepperoni and bacon were very generous, and the cheese was gooey and delicious. I will absolutely be going back here for pizza anytime someone asks me where the best pizza in town is.

Worst customer service Ive ever had, woman at the counter kept picking her nose and would continually touch the food. I watched her touch food and serve it to the guest that were having a get together. I immediately changed my mind said thank you to the short blondish black haired woman and left after stating that gloves would be appropriate or not handling food while you are sick.

I went there to pick up online order. I got exceptional reception. There is limited parking space. Pizza was one of the best and at a reasonable price. They have much more enough tables and can accomodate even large groups. I like also the creatively decorated names of the area using creative arts and designs. Overall, it is on my must be visited again soon list.

Three years ago I gave them 5 stars for making the best pizza within 3 miles of my house. Today I am taking 4 of those stars away because they just sort of stopped answering the phone a month ago. We love Toss pizza, but way too often, the orders arrive incorrect or take way too long. Tonight, our pizza is already 40 minutes late (making it almost 2 hours since we put in the order). We called to find out what was up, and while we were assured it’s on the way, we found out the order is wrong. So now I’m waiting for the wrong pizza to show up. They offered to send another one, but I’m not about to wait another 2 hours. Plus, when we call, the phone is always so staticky that we can barely have a conversation. I think this is our last order from Toss. Too bad, because it’s really good.

Changes in management and staff (2016) have noticeably altered the quality of what used to be great pizza way above the rest. Specifically, the mozzarella cheese is very rubbery, and tomato sauce too sweet. Cheaper ingredients equal mediocrity. Too bad.

The pizza is eh, OK. If you have had proper good pizza or even made your own, you will not cry for it when it is gone.Given Baltimore’s options (garbage a$$ places like B.O.P.), it is definitely in the top third of places, but you would REALLY have to be craving pizza for it to be worth the drive from anywhere outside the Govans.

Really awesome pizza but not a great place to dine in.... Order at the counter then pour your own water from a caraffe by the trash can and get your own plates and silverware... But they bring you the pizza and clean up so you still have to tip... Bathrooms are gross too. Just order for pickup!!!

First time ordering delivery - pretty okay . Food came under 55 minutes but was not steaming fresh - pizza has nice fluffy dough but not enough marinara - maybe I should’ve asked for some on the side ? Garlic bread not what I imagined - more like cheese pizza slices - but was still enjoyable.

Tonight I ordered a pizza for pick up, when I picked up my pizza, the cashier asked to see my card and she wrote down my card info. I asked her why and she said because the credit card machine “sometimes doesn’t work”. She got a attitude when I asked why she didn’t tell me her machine was down. Her name is Vanessa, she said she didn’t care about me making the review. I don’t appreciate her bad customer service. I don’t recommend this restaurant, beware of your bank info.!!!!

While the food has been good , lately there is a smell that has seeped into everything. Ive gone inside once to pick up and was shocked! The entire places smells like a damp, mildewed basement. When food is delivered the smell is on the bags and containers. The place could use a dehumidifier or something. I had the spinach triangles delivered along with pasta. I couldnt finish the triangle because they smelled like mildew. they were served in the styrofoam containers which are porous and reek of the mildew. The pasta was fine as foil doesnt hold on to scent like the bags and styrofoam. It makes me wonder how clean the place really is. Its sad really because I love their pizza, but I wont be able to order from here anymore.

We have made Toss one of our go-to restaurants when we want delicious carryout sandwiches and/or pizza. we recommend this place to everyone; its such a find. Weve never had a bad meal from Toss.The restaurant itself is bare bones - painted concrete floor, open ceiling, some local artwork on the walls. The dining room is small but large enough to hold about 20 - 25 people comfortably. This is a family restaurant and very casual.The reason for the very good vs. excellent service is that they are usually late in getting carryout meals ready when they tell me it will be ready. Ive waited as long as 20 minutes after I got there when they told me it would be ready.My wife and I will continue to frequent Toss as long as they keep dishing up their wonderful food.

Toss advertises itself as a gourmet pizza, but its really run-of-the-mill, a pizza that can be found anywhere in Baltimore. Dont be fooled by some of the suspiciously positive reviews. Toss is not on the level of Iggies, Joe Squared, even Pizza Johns. Very mediocre, no quality ingredients, certainly nothing that screams gourmet. Go a bit further up York Road to Fortunatos if you want a decent slice.

Their pizza is great! They are a little pricey, but totally worth it. The cheese pizza is oozing with cheese and grease. The ceaser salad came with a little slice of white pizza on the side, a delicious surprise! The portebella/spiniach/feta pizza was so good! It is really nice to have real veggies and meats on a pizza, especially delivered!
