Incredible shop! The staff is exceptional and super friendly! There is something for everyone. It is so much fun to look around...look everywhere...you never know what you will find. If you are lucky you will see Ted Frankel. He is an institution, an amazing artist and just the nicest person. This was my second visit and I cant wait to go back already! If you dont leave here happy...nothing in life will ever make you happy! I still have a smile 8 hours later.

Kinda quirky but bought an on sale book and discovered some pages were literally cut out. Cashier offered No discount or refund!! Oh well should have asked for mgr but only $2

Neat place, but was more of a gag gift and quirky art shop than a gift shop like we expected. It was neat to browse, but we didnt end up buying anything. It is located inside the art museum, but if you tell the people at the front desk that youre just going to the shop, theyll let you in without paying admission to the rest of the gallery.

Okay, I have to start off saying that I absolutely.. without a doubt love love..love this little treasure chest of a store.. SideShow at the American Visionary Art Museum. I would go and get all my funny storytelling items whenever I would be in the area. Well, I moved and no one carried my favorite fun reading glasses. I called and spoke to Ashley and immediately I felt her can I help you smile energy over the phone! Mind you this was an order over the phone/email process. Ted and Ashley go out of their way to look for fun glasses.. then send detailed pics for me to choose..take my order... then mail them!!I really appreciate their go the extra mile service, when so many sales associates are rude with just ringing you up at the cash register...lolKudos to Terrific Ted and Amazing Ashley!

AVAM is a surprisingly high-quality and interesting museum. Frankly, I didnt think Baltimore had any cultural centers that could impress me. I am happy to say I was wrong. You could easily spend an entire day contemplating the AVAMs eclectic exhibits. Im looking forward to returning one day soon.

My family and I have been going to the AVAM and attending it’s events for years. The gift shop used to be a neat part of those visits. That is until our last visit there last month. They had on display some of the trashiest, classless items regarding our POTUS. It was disgusting and tasteless. Shame on you! We won’t be returning to your shop until the owners can learn to respect any POTUS. Keep political opinions to yourself unless you want to lose a lot more customers!

Such a cool little shop!

This shop RACIALLY PROFILES BLACKS while in store. Came in the other day and bought more than anyone and was profiled and followed around the store most of time I was in there, by the phony store clerks. Black people dont shop there! They seem to think we cant afford their cheap little items and that were all poor, black, and stupid! Its 2017 and people still havent learned...Smh! Never again!

This is the best gift shop I have ever been into in my whole life. I like to get birthday, christmas, baby shower, you namr it they have it in here. They are all unique gifts you will not find else where and its super affordable. I 100% recomend thianplace to anyone. The art gallery is amazing but I like to just go into the gift shop sometimes. Its a must see.
