Hard to not enjoy the experience here. An inviting and open space with easy going people takes you into a beautifully restored 3 story building.The main floor has booths for smaller intimate experiences with groups of 4-6 and the basement allows for larger groups of 8-10.Prices are reasonable for drinks with attentive staff and bartenders. Good selection of drinks with boozy snow cones.The selection of games varies from easy to pick up ones that a group can play in 5 minutes to a more difficult set that requires hours of preparation.Look forward to coming back in the future and it will certain be a staple for a good Saturday night with friends.

Fantastic hybrid of bar and game store. Plenty of tables, yummy pizza and the bartenders know their stuff. Played Gauntlet for the first time in 30 years.

We reserved a couple tables for a wedding party and this place was perfect for it. The drinks are reasonably priced for the area, and they do mixed drinks served on snowballs. They have a bunch of games you can check out and spend a few hours playing. You can bring your own food in, and the people running it are nice.

Ambiance is mixed as they have a downstairs tattoo gaming area, a store with a dining/gaming area, a booth area, free old school arcades (Gauntlet and Galaga), a bar, and a back yard. The sample game selection has a great variety and their sales options are plenty as well.Drinks are tasty, but I wish they were larger. They take old recipes and put a twist on them. Beer selections have a little for everyone.Food looks okay for thin pizza. We didnt partake at this time, but saw plenty around the dining area.Service at the bar gets backed up since the bartenders are also the cooks and servers across all floors so when they have a flood of folks, you might have to wait a couple of minutes, not too bad though. Everyone at the bar and store were very friendly, amusing, and helpful.

Popped in on a Friday night just to check the place out. So glad I did-- they have carved out an amazing space for gamers in the heart of Baltimore. I will be coming back.

Just a really great place to bring friends, chill, and play some board games. Very friendly staff. Small, but I wouldnt say cozy since theres an outdoor section and a downstairs, but not your ideal bar size.

No Land Beyond is so much fun!! Before the pandemic, we would go on the weekends to play board games and drink from their great selection of local beers and ciders. The staff are awesome and so knowledgeable about essentially every game known to man. During the pandemic we’ve done several virtual game nights with them that have been a ton of fun and make for great birthday parties or office events. Mike is an awesome facilitator. Another cool thing is their game rental program that gives you a chance to try out a game before buying. Love this place and you will too!

Wide selection of board games, clean and well decorated space, friendly and low key staff, the games all seemed to be in good condition. A good place to spend a long time with friends without much cost.

Love this place! Fun themed drinks (Gilded Lotus, Gimli son of Gloin), house made personal size pizza, all gender restrooms, huge game library, friendly staff, super welcoming atmosphere, its just amazing.

Great game selection and everyone working there was so nice! They have a good mix of casual games and more in depth strategy games. In addition they have a good selection of beers and other drinks and some pizzas as well. Sounds like they plan to add more games to the library and food and drinks to the menu in the near future as well! Looking forward to coming back!

This is a fantastic board game bar, with extremely friendly staff, delicious cocktails, a great beer menu, and all the nerdity you could ask for. Seriously going to start spending a lot more time here!

GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! This is my new favorite gaming spot in the city. They have the best prices on MTG product and a great selection of new board games. The game library is stacked, the gaming area is brand new, they have a couple FREE arcade games, and THEY HAVE A BAR!

Solid pizza n drink selections, solid game buying and rentals. Played everdell for the first time, got a dope pizza n some kombucha. Would def recommend n will come again. Didnt grab a pic but it is really nice inside.

Baltimores first, and I believe only, board game bar.During these trying times, when everything is boring, you can rent a boardgame here and also bottled cocktails and such. My personal favorite is the Bunker Baby, partly because of its ingredients. The folks that run the place are pretty great, and if renting boardgames becomes a habit, they have a membership patreon to assist that healthy habit.All around, wholeheartedly endorse NLB. Baltimore has needed a place like this for a long time.

This is exactly what weve needed in Baltimore and Im so happy its here! Whats not to love? Theres a huge selection of games available to play in the library, a fully stocked retail store, a well-curated beer list, and plenty of room to spread out with friends both old and new.Ive had a chance to attend organized events as well as just stopping by to see whats going on. No trouble getting involved with an existing group, the bartender even helped introduce me.They even special ordered a game expansion they didnt have in stock and I had it inside of a week. I cant say enough great things about what theyre doing here.
