From my visit to their website 2 weeks ago I would give them a low grade because just about everything I chose was not available in the store I selected and in order to pick up items that I wanted I would have to travel basically clear across the country. Having everything mailed is not really that much of a convenience. Ulta needs to get a handle on having a variety of what they offer be available in the stores. I still believe Ulta is a great place to shop for hair and beauty products.

First time shopping at Ulta beauty. Customer service reps were very very young but they were so nice and helpful and knowledgeable about the products and where to find items. Very impressed. I called ahead and the rep saved aside a product I saw online, but available in limited # of stores. When I arrived and identified myself, the young lady knew exactly why or what I was there to collect. Nice service.

Just got home from the salon. Chania did my hair and did an awesome job! Im extremely picky and havent let anyone touch my hair for nearly three years because of bad experiences. She spent the time and really did great. My experience with the whole store was great. I wish I had remembered to note her name, but the woman who helped me with makeup and shades was also amazing, as well as the cashier who pointed me towards what I needed. Not to mention, the girl at the brow bar was great as well! Really loved my experience there after spending almost all day there. I wish I had taken note of everyones names so I could tell how great they were. I was a little pressed for time as it was getting end of school time, but I really could have used more of these ladies knowledge! Really great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Has everything if you like make-up

Im not a girly girl at all so I had NO IDEA what to look for make-up wise or where to start. Dominique was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding. The fact the she got my sense of humor was a big plus. I will be going back. Wouldve only gave 4 ⭐ but she made the experience a 5+

I have always loved Ulta, and the people who work here are exceptional! I came in while the store was under strict COVID restrictions, which included not having access to testers. My skin tone is very different in the summer compared to the rest of the year so I needed some help finding the right foundation shade. I had no idea how I could do that without testing some shades, so I asked for help and when I tell you the woman who helped me eyeballed my (half covered) face and found the PERFECT ONE I am not exaggerating.

Everyone was friendly and kind. They was helpful in all my needs and questions. The store was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Good selection and really helpful workers. It was also empty enough that social distancing was pretty easy. Clear and easy to follow social distancing rules along the isles and plenty of hand sanitizer at the entrance and around the store.

Felt a little weird not being able to sample an eyeshadow or a lipstick to see how it looked at least on the back of my hand.I appreciate the fact that they at least had their samples out and shrink wrapped.Sephora didnt even do that.

This location is the best in the area! I get my hair done at their salon by Sydney! She is amazing! She does an awsome job. She got me from dark brown to platinum and brought my hair back to life! Definitely schedule with her! She is also just really nice to talk to! This location also has plenty of clearance on good brands and items!

The staff today was wonderful and had a giggle with us. Always able to get great advice on what Im looking for, since I know next to nothing about the intricacies of skin care. And the best part!? They SERIOUSLY listen when I give them a budget and dont try to push me to get something more expensive. They always work with me and I leave happy.

I got my hair cut and colored by Sydney, she was amazing! She knew exactly the look I was trying to go for even though I didnt do a great job explaining it. Id definitely recommend her!

I will not be using the salon at Ulta again. I had an appointment for makeup and hair for a formal event. The stylist (Cynthia) was running behind and I was told that sometimes appointments run behind and they would accommodate me the best way they could. There was no urgency even when I said I had an event and this would make me late. I left and will figure something out at home. Highly disappointed that I wasted time to go there when they couldn’t help me. There were at least 4 other stylist not busy that could have helped me given the situation.

My experience was ok! The ladies on the floor were definitely polite, even the security lady didnt make me uncomfortable. I have had better customer service at a gas station though. The young lady at the register w/ a green baby fro didnt acknowledge me standing in line off to the left where your suppose to stand instead just spoke softly saying I can help whos next in line staring straight head no eye contact NOTHING! I will stick to my regular location.

Jessica has done my eyebrows a few times and shes amazing. Shes not only a great brow artist, but just an overall nice person to interact with. As someone who just moved to the Baltimore area, its nice to find a place to get my eyebrows done where I feel comfortable and know that the person is really listening to what I want.

Tried to come in to the store to grab some shampoo quickly with my infant son. Was turned away by the security officer because she said they don’t allow carts or strollers. When I asked why, they got very rude and then the cashier and security guard proceeded to make fun of me for asking why. Would suggest not shopping at this store if you have kids, if you ask questions or are a human being. The whole interaction was not nessecary. If that is the store policy, fine, no need to make fun of me for asking.

Very helpful staff. Wide selection though a few brands I wanted werent available. The wait to check out was a little long, but thats because they are taking their time to help everyone.

Excellent selection. Understaffed - checkout wait time was excessive as a result. Prices are a bit high but bargains can be had. Salon seems popular. Parking was easy.

Great store! Service is much better than Sephora. Store is bright, clean, and always stocked up. Anyone saying it is overpriced is just annoying. Their prices are retail. No mark up. If you want cheap makeup, go to a drug store.

On Saturday 9/14/19 my fiance and I visted Ulta at Canton and I will not return. We were greeted once we entered the store but within 5 minutes of entering the store the Security Officer pops up in the same aisle and starting spraying different colognes to so call help us out. We didnt ask for his help. I didnt know it was Securitys job to help the customers. I was annoyed becuse my fiance and I were profiled. We are African American tax paying citizens and I shouldnt feel like Im being watched to see if Im going to steal. By the way more customers entered the store (white) and he didnt move from the door, nor did he asked them if they needed any help. Shame on you Ulta if you think this is Ok

Went to Ulta with my daughter for a class on how to do eye make up . It was nothing more then a 10 minute make over. The girl explained nothing and was only concerned about what we planned to buy.I like the Boston street store. The salespeople are very nice. Theres a young man there that is so friendly. However... this class as they called it was a big waste of time and gasoline. Why even bother to sign people up.

While I like the variety of products that can be found in one place, the customer service sometimes sucks. The cashiers feel stuck up at times. I have observed the difference in attitude when they are waiting on customers of different races and possible social status. I ALWAYS have to ask for any free gift I know comes with a purchase. It feels like they dont want to give it to you. Also after getting home I realized I had $3 in savings I could have used with my purchase but want asked if I wanted to use them. Im sure she could see the savings because I had my Ulta card and was asked my phone number or email address. But she made sure to try to sell that credit card to me. If it werent for shipping & handling charges, Id order everything from this store online.

This ULTA is what I wish the White Marsh ULTA could be: bright, clean, and organized. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by an employee and offered assistance, saving me a lot of time looking around. The cashier was friendly and checkout time was quick. Ill definitely come here more often!

I would give this store zero star if I could. I bought a brush yesterday and realized that I bought the wrong brush for eyeshadow. So I went back to store today to return it. Then there was this cashier Alexis mumbling some questions I could barely hear, and she refunded my moeny with a merchandise credit. I said to her I dont want a merchandise credit, I want to refund to my debit card. And she answered me, There was not an option to refund to your debit card. When she said that I couldnt believe what I heard, I never encountered a store that cant refund your money to your bank, so I called the store manger. And I was told that because they already went through the process of redunding, they cant refund it to my bank anymore. I didnt even open the package, so I dont know why giving me a merchandise credit should be an option for me. Ladies, if you are a person of color like me, save your money to go to Sephora, because you could encounter the same side eye like me when you enter the sore and being treated rude. The two ladies in front of me were both greated with a smile, except for me and I wonder why.

The store was warm which is not good on a humid Baltimore evening. Staff not friendly at all. Cashier asked for my phone number and then went on to talk to someone else. Kinda rude.

Rashida is SO wonderful! I got my eyebrows done by her this past weekend and was very impressed, she even used all of the new Benefit brow products on me and explained what each one did and gave me step by step directions for each of them and how to make my brows look perfect.I am ALWAYS hesitant in getting my eyebrows done as I have had them get pretty botched a couple of times and have spent months trying to grow them out. Rashida was very understanding and asked exactly how I wanted them to look and made sure that she did them according to what I told her the look I wanted.I never write these reviews but I thought she needed to get the recognition she deserves!

I love the selection and love the products. But thats not why I am writing this review.I am a vocational counselor for adults with developmental disabilities. I aid those in looking for jobs discover their own personal genius. I had a woman who was interested in working in the makeup industry, but didnt know how to get into it. We sat down, figure out what she wanted to learn, and went to this particular Ulta. She was a little nervous, but luckly, the women there went above and beyond for her. Zia answered her questions about being a makeup ambassador. Kourtney guided her on going to school and what working at the brow bar was like. Both were very patient, kind and willing to take the time to help a woman on her journey. They answered every question that she had and she left feeling so confident and happy. And tjey are lead by a great manager, Jessica, who suggested to me to bring her here and welcomed her with open arms. Everyone there could have brushed us off, as she had no monwy to buy anything, but their generosity and care made her day.I can tell you this much: this will be the only place I get my makeup from now on.
