Jack(?) was attentive and gave me frequent updates about sourcing parts.A note that the garage for inspection does not open by 8am, but you can drop your car off in the morning and likely get the inspection done same day.

Quick and easy state inspection. I brought in my car early around 8:30 (the state inspector usually gets there around 9 FYI) and got a call at 10:30 it was completed. Expected to pass since my car did a 180-point style one less than 2 months ago and did.

If you need an inspection this is definitely the place to go. No problems no hassles, very professional and nice staff. In and out in under an hour even though most places quote longer. I don’t know what the issues were with the bad reviews....but my experience has been exemplary because of the amazing service that I received here. I will certainly recommend this place before any other, to family and friends. Amazing and fair prices included.

I showed up just before 8:30am when they arrive since their state inspections are first come first serve. They took my car right away and it was done in an hour. My car has over 80k miles and passed with no problem, meaning no extra charge aside from the inspection fee. I think any of the bad reviews here are a result of peoples cars not passing which is obviously not this facilitys fault.

I went here coming from out of state looking to get my plates transferred so I needed an inspection. No appointments are needed I was told that it will take four hours but to my surprise it was done sooner. I was happy that my time here wasnt long.

I went on a Friday afternoon for an emissions test (to get my Maryland tag). I waited only 20min for them to finish up the car infront of me, and overall the experience was great! I was able to walk to fed hill area and grab lunch while I waited. When I got back they informed me my inspection failed due to a chip in the windshield. I left, but went back a few days later with it fixed and they signed/approved it (with no extra fee). Highly recommend!

They look for every little thing so they can get money out of you. No matter how minor, they’ll try to get you. Then they’ll offer to fix it for a higher price. If you fail inspection, they’ll charge you another $25 to get it reinspected.

These guys are absolute scammers. For your own sake, travel a few more miles to find an honest mechanic--these guys are not.I took my late model vehicle to get a Maryland State Inspection and they said it had an issue (which typically happens to very high mileage vehicles) and as a result it failed. They said theyd fix the issue for hundreds of dollars. The part can be found online for $14 (that is if it really was an issue).Let it be known I served for years as a Motor T/Humvee mechanic in the military and it took a lot to not blow up as I thoroughly inspected this vehicle before buying. Sure enough, I took my vehicle to another inspection mechanic/office and it passed with flying colors.Use google reviews as a compass for a state inspection/auto mechanic, this business should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

I highly wont request this place they are robbers... they asked me to leave car and sit in cafeteria which is located in opposite street and unfortunately that cafeteria was closed since it was 10:30am and by the time I am back that is just in 10mins they have robbed my goggles from my car... and realized that when I stepped into my car and asked them have you taken my goggles ? And they were like no but am very sure that they took my goggles... so disgusting I have never experienced this kind of treatment.

No matter how good or new your car is he will find something wrong so he can get you to get it fixed at his shop.

Good place! They inspected my vehicle the same day I called, even though it was late in the afternoon. It needed a few bulbs and the headlights were clouded, all things I wanted to repair anyway. I brought it back the next day around 5:15 and was out the door with an inspection certificate by 6PM. Lots of great cafes along Charles St. just a block away made the wait time go by quickly, and theyre very accommodating to call you when its ready.

I could not expect more it was fair.

DONT LET THIS PLACE RIP YOU OFF!I wish could give this place 0 stars.One of my first experiences in Baltimore was having my (older) vehicle inspected. I was recommended this place by a local friend although she herself had never been there. I wish I would have read the reviews first.There was never even any semblance of customer service. When I arrived, I was ignored for nearly 10mins before a mechanic decided I wasnt just standing there because I liked the smell of body odor and engine grease. Everyone I encountered made me seem like I was inconveniencing them by bringing them my business.It took almost a week for them to finish the work on my car, and I was charged over $1,200 for parts and labor in addition to the cost of the inspection. Within the week, the brand new brake pads and rotors they charged me for were squealing worse than ever before. The new shocks and struts were squeaking at even the slightest bump in the road.I called them back to be told there was nothing they could do. I would have tried to pursue this further, but I was leaving for a trip. Needless to say, I did not feel safe on the road the entire time.The only part of my SUV they claim to have replaced that is still fully functioning is the overpriced windshield wipers I didnt even need. This place is a joke. Dont waste your money.

I had an appointment with another place for an inspection & they said I never called them the day before & then switched to say he gave me a time that was different than the original time he gave me when I talked to him and I already drove an hour to the 1st place and needed an inspection ASAP. I called around and found this place I got all the answers I needed when I called.(the price, they do inspections on Saturdays & didn’t need an appointment) o told him I was omw there drove the extra 25 mins there they took me in gave me a time to come back. Me & my family walked to the harbor while we waited and came back a little early my truck was done. He was very friendly, great customer service. I recommend this place. My truck almost failed inspection b/c of my 3rd brake light wasn’t working properly, he had 1 of his mechanics look at it, it just needed a little jiggle and boom it worked and it passed inspections! Great work I will definitely be bringing cars back for an inspection and recommend this place! Good job guys

The mechanic named Shack/Shaq is a thief. I brought my vehicle to him to do a state inspection. He gave me a file that didnt meet the requirements for my job. I was asked to get the proper paper work and certification. He refused to give me the documents I needed and refused to give me a refund. In the process of trying to understand the problem, he screamed and cursed me out. His guilt was apparent and it was very difficult working with him. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!
