If I could give zero stars I would.. dont pay cash.. always a hassle. Bought 2 batterys .. guy said if they dont work bring them back.. failed to mention that anything over 30 bucks a check must be issued..what a gd joke.

I was stranded on a parking lot with a dead battery. My husband drove the 40 minutes to my rescue with jumper cables and got the car started. Then I called the closest Batteries Plus and asked if they had a battery for my make and model car. Sam answered the call and said he did have one. When we arrived 10 minutes later, Sam already had the battery and his tools ready to go and met us at the door. Then, when he saw the date on the battery, he offered to check on the warranty. We pulled out of Batteries Plus in Ballwin 20 minutes later with a new, properly installed battery at no cost to us! Why would we trade anyplace else?!

Ive never bought a battery from this type of store. I came in about 6pm and it was staffed and the employee was ready to get my order processed (online car battery). The battery was ready quickly via email notice(maybe 30 minutes). No hassles, quick service. In and out in 5 minutes. I hope it lasts for many years.

I was able to recycle my fluorescent tube. The nice man even went out to my car and carried them into the store for me.

Called and had a battery reserved then said Id be there after work to do the repair. I got there at 540, drove 30 minutes and was told they wouldnt do it since it was after 530 which was never said on the phone.

I went there to get a battery for my phone. I was told they could not sell it to me outright and would only sell it to me if they put it in. He said it is sealed and they needed to put it in. I have put new batteries in all my phones without incident. They were not rude, just unwilling to sell batteries at a battery store. I went to batteries plus on Watson and they sold me the battery which is now installed in my phone and working great. They even directed me to a website to help with installation. If you are a do it yourselfer avoid this place. I don’t understand their thinking here. I can order the battery all day long online. Turning business away is bad business.I will not be going back for any reason.

This is a great batteries plus store. They have awesome employees. My RV batteries got low from not starting it enough probably. They charged them up for me and did everything with a smile. In a time where so many business forget that just being nice can make a customer feel good these guys don’t miss the boat.

It was easy to order the batteries we needed for our motorhome. The repairman said 2 of the 6 batteries were bad. So I went online and found that Batteries Plus Bulbs carries the 6V heavy duty golf cart batteries for our coach. We called the mechanic and he said we needed to replace all 6 batteries.Arrived at our local Batteries Plus Bulbs store and they found both orders and loaded them right up in our truck. It was awesome. I had met with another lighting company regarding the changing of my florescent 8 lights to LED. The other company wanted to sell me whole new fixtures. After doing some research and then contacting Batteries Plus Bulbs, I purchased new 8 LED bulbs and replaced them myself. Enclosed I eliminated the ballast that run the florescent tubes with the end result of using 70% less electricity and incredibly brighter in my shop. I saved over $1,600.00 and much more on my future electric usage.

I think $20 to purchase and change a keyfob battery is outrageous when the battery itself costs about $5. I was in a bit of a pinch so I forked over the cash.

Found the battery I needed online and after I received the email stating that it was ready for pickup I headed for the store. When I got there, was told that there had been an error and it was not available. Having driven a bit to get there I was a little annoyed. I left the store and called online customer care. They were confused as the battery showed being in stock. I was put on hold and a few minutes later, the excellent customer service person (Amy?) asked me to go back to the store and pick up the battery. It was an upgrade to the one I ordered & paid for. I shouldn’t have had to leave & then come back but was given great assistance from online & by the store in the end. The battery works great,fit perfectly and I didn’t have to wait for shipping. I would shop for a battery again from batteries + bulbs-

I had to share my experience at the Ballwin Mo location, I have never shopped at that location before, and my first experience at a Batteries Plus wasn’t so great. My home security battery went dead so I called Ballwin and got a very patient gentleman on the phone, he told me what battery it possibly was and YouTube my model and he texted me the link on how to remove it. I came in a few hours later to purchase and met Steve the man on the phone and John who was just as nice and helpful. As I waited in line I witnessed these gentleman help customers who were abit needy in my opinion and they seemed like they were very happy and worked great as a team. After my purchase I came home after learning what else this store offered and my wife decided to stop in there to get a watch battery changed and a car remote battery changed, she was met by Steve who not only changed out the batteries for her but talked to my wife as if she was human, not just trying to sell her things she didn’t need, she came home expressing that this purchase really changed her mind on whether to shop at batteries plus again. On our first trip to a batteries plus store we were unhappy with the service, the employees pressure selling and just sounded like they worked on commissions. Sorry for the long review but if you want great service stop into the store in Ballwin and ask for Steve ( taller skinny guy short hair maybe mid 30’s) and or John ( tall, bald, and beard probably mid 20’s. I cannot say enough great things about these guys. T-Mobile was absolutely no help. T-Mobile referred me to this store, because they no longer carry batteries for their own phones. I havent had my cell long and for some odd reason the battery was struggling to hold a charge. I thought Id purchase a new one but one wouldnt be available for a week. I work in the surgical world and being without a phone even an hour was pushing it. These guys used their equipment to out a heavy duty charge my phone to get me up and going. Ordered a new car battery online for pickup at my local store. It was super fast and received a confirmation email that it was ready for pick-up literally within 5 minutes of the order being placed. Pick-up was also very quick. The guy even partially filled out the mail-in rebate form for me too. Ill definitely use BatteriesPlus again!

2nd visit here and its my last time going. Went in for a key fob battery got it told it it was the correct one after 5 minutes of verifying dont get asked for a phone number , and dont have a receipt (didnt think I was gonna need on ) well turns out wrong battery . Call them up ask if theres anything they can do, person on the phone says as long as it has a charge and that they could verify its theirs they can do it. Guy in store says he cant hands are tied even after explaining what I was told on the phone.garbage not going back . Love being out money .

Great place for watch batteries with lifetime warranty.

I bought the best battery possible and the most expensive one for my car, since day one the battery won’t hold charge even though it’s my daily driver after I get somewhere and shut off the car the battery goes dead in two hours. 1st contact with the store, they told me it’s the car not the battery. Took the car to Maserati and they examined it and gave me a report that it’s the battery. Called them back and they requested I bring the car so they can examine the battery again, did that, they said the battery is holding charge. Took the car to the BMW dealer that I work at and examined the car and they said it’s the battery, also took it to meineke and firestone and they said the battery is the problem. Why would all these places lie and say it’s the battery not the car if they’re there to make money fixing cars????? I got all those reports because the way they treated me is not acceptable specially because I have a warranty and I’m a very busy individual, I will be in contact with my lawyer next week. BMW recommended that I buy the same brand battery and see if I’m still going to have any issues, we did that and all issues disappeared and battery is functioning well. Now I have a dead 300 dollars X2 battery sitting in my garage!Keep in mind, their manager is aware of the situation and multiple other employees as well.Being in the car business I understand what customer service is and this is definitely how NOT to treat a customer.

Horrible service! Mis-diagnosis of my apple watch cost me $70.00 for battery then the told me it was something else which would have been $200.00....so $270.00 for a $300.00 watch. They would not refund my battery I used for 2 days! So stuck with a battery. Absolutely no call from store manager when requested!Definitely think twice before you have a phone or watch repair

This is the WORST place to get your phone repaired. After the repair my phone started “ghosting” several times throughout the day. I dropped my phone one time with a case on and the screen cracked immediately. The materials used in this store are not good quality. The so called “warranty” they have is absolutely ridiculous as it covers nothing. I called twice to see if my phone would be covered with different issues I was having and both times I was rejected, saying those specific issues were not covered in the warranty. I have talked to other customers and they too have similar stories. Do yourself a favor and do not get your phone fixed here. You’ll end up spending more money in the long run like I unfortunately have to now.
