My family and I call on Linda for ALL of our floral needs - personally and for our business and Linda never ceases to amaze! My birthday and anniversary are in the same week and generally my husband presents me with beautiful flowers by Linda for each but this year Linda created a spectacular masterpiece for both occasions in one and it took my breath away! I didnt find what I was looking for. No one around in the area ( bakery) to ask. But I did find a variety of different flavors in the beverage aisle I have not seen in other store. So coming in the store for one thing lead to 4 things but at a higher price. Service was fast and available up front. Not very friendly tho.

Price seems a little higher than average, but quality and friendly service are excellent.

Stockdale location has great produce, the occasional discount prices on the 93% lean ground turkey are the best!

One of my favorite stores, always clean, way to find items, theyll order out of stock items specifically for you. Usually has good deals, however the high prices on many items negate the savings on deals. But otherwise a pleasant place to shop

I spent the past almost month searching for a specific butter that I couldnt find in any other store. I come to Vons because it was near a store I was shopping at and I found it! They have Benecol butter!!

Well maybe just for me this one mans opinion. Vons is getting way too expensive, even paying over $10 per pound for fresh sliced lunch meat and $7 for cheese, they throw it in the bag so you have to peal the meat and cheese from a ball of product. There are other examples. This covid thing hurt my finances, and maybe Vons should put people over profit. Instead of the other way around.Thank you:

Vons is a good standard for shopping. This Vons is not as large as many are but it is well stocked and maintained. I have never seen it dirty or disorganized. even after Christmas. As a teacher I like to buy my donuts here when I want to spoil my students for being good. They have a good selection and of donuts and they always look fresh. I also come here from time to time looking for good deals on meat. My wife often comes here on her coupon runs as well. I am very pleased with this Vons location.

Vons although the lines are still long here theres not that many people that open up maybe theyre short the times that Ive been. I think the prices are overall just a little bit higher as other stores are a little bit lower buying the same thing. Love the flower location and their customer service overall. This store also is mixed minority workers.

Vons is a great place to shop.

1 checker and 20 people in line. This is pretty common which is sad especially for the prices being charged. 8.99 for a 3 oz bottle of pink salt. How come I can buy a 12 oz bottle for 3 dollara at another grocer. Its the unions. See attached photo. I found some of what I wanted but shelves are still lacking. Will need to look for another store.

Rude staff, or way overly familiar at times. Weird conversations with the Cashiers. Being asked if Im Christian (by said cashiers)? Does the Lord and Savior give more discounts, Susan??The staff here will interrogate you, while giving subpar service it seems. Eh. Save money and try somewhere cheaper

I always love coming here and the produce as usually always decent and fresh. However the prices hurt my pocket. But I like shopping in a low stress environment and the have so much more variety than the smaller grocery stores, and they have a Starbucks. So two birds with one stone. Their deli meats are really good and the prices are usually reasonable. All in all staff is always friendly.

The store used to be ralphs I dont know why the prices are so high makes no sense you can get the same food at other locations for a much lower cost. I guess they want to be like Ralph and Albertson its overpriced but you can pretty much find whatever it is youre looking for

The staff is always happy to see you always quick to answer any questions I may have. Store is always clean shelves are always very stocked. Except for a few months ago because of the covid. But besides that very good service. Never disappointed. They go over and beyond to give you exceptionally good customer service. And ive shopped early in the am and late at pm and never had a bad experience

Ok, so like Albertsons, Its sis chain, the only bad here is the pricey factor- bit the produce and meat are above calibur here beyond the capabilities of a discount store.

It is well worth the higher price. Fresh produce ,and fresh cut flowers that make great gifts. The meat department is excellent.

I love getting my flowers here. Yesterday I got two bundles of fresh cut daffodils for $2.50 each.

Workers are very awesome and baskets are cleaned after each guest. I love taking my mother in law here for her weekly shopping trip ....

Best grocery store in Bakersfield so spacious and lots of goodies

I like this Vons. They have a amazing selection of ice cream, 🍺 beer and wines. Like most Vons do. As a visitor to this Vons because when Id visit it wasnt my neighborhood grocery I didnt mind not always getting a friendly smile. Or getting helped when I clearly needed it. Or when I even asked for it. Now as a person whos recently moved very close to this Vons. Its my neighborhood grocery store Id wish it showed me the friendly service Ive seen they can do to other customers. Now mind you, I did visit at 8am. They might still need there coffee break. And Im still going to go into this store. Its convenient for me. But now if it keeps happening Im going to mentally prepare myself for a quick interaction.

This is a good store. Generally clean, well located, friendly staff. What cost them two stars is the whole Vons club thing. I think its silly that I have to enter some phone number that I havent had in years. I translate this as...Would you like to pay our unnecessary mark up, or would you prefer the good price? Just give me the good price; Ive got enough chores without having to jump through your phone number hoop.

Bought my son a German chocolate cake for his birthday

They only have one entrance open. Only 3 checkout registers open and a line wrapping around the store all the way through the produce section all the way to the deli department. Be prepared to wait forever to checkout

This is a well-run location, clean and without too much of a wait to check out. One cool feature: they do $5 sushi rolls every Friday.

Someone outside sanitizes carts. Employees can answer questions about whether product is in stick and where its located.

Cashier was rude to my husband, greeted and asked how the persons day was to the person in front of him and behind him, but he was rushed and not even greeted, based on the way he looked, he was just getting off work and was tired and wanted a monster, needless to say we wont be shopping at Vons anytime soon.

Used the western union inside vons and to my surprise it was quick and painless. I thought it was funny though that my ID is cracked and taped and they let me use it for western union but they wouldnt let me use it to buy cigarettes right after. Oh well, minor inconvenience

Great super market. Produce always fresh, and they seem to have almost everything I need usually. The customer service is great except the checker with the very short grey hair. She is very rude at times. I can definitely tell when she is in a bad mood. I usually try to avoid her by waiting in a longer line so I don’t have to deal with that bad energy.

Store is always clean, staff always very friendly and helpful.

They have a great selection of quick meals and a great layout to find what you want. Plus they bag your groceries for you. Friendly workers too.

This is a good Vons to shop at. Its not typically busy. It has has nice clear aisles to get around in the event that it is busy. The floral area has many options for flowers or balloons. Additionally, there is a Starbucks in case you need some caffeine to finish your shopping trip. I wish we had a Vons on my side of town.

I shop this store on a weekly basis. The staff is very friendly and we love their deli and bakery.
