Loved the food and loved the ambiance! The staff here are very friendly and our food came in a timely manner. My server recommended the breakfast tacos and it was such a good amount of food for the price! My friend got the mushroom burger and it was a solid burger as well (cant go wrong with burgers). Definitely recommend the muddled berry cocktail for cocktail lovers 😋 its never too early for a drink after all!

There’s not too much to eat in Bakersfield, but the 18Hundred has fantastic food and equally good cocktails.Ambiance is superb, and Lex, our bartender and server, was on point!

Overall it was okay. My Mahi Mahi was a bit dry so I asked for more sauce. My husband asked for medium rare steak but it was medium well. We didnt care too much. We still enjoyed our meals. Dessert was so good!!

Their barbeque chicken salad is awesome, Id highly recommend it! Also their shakes are good, and pretty big.

Terrific food, friendly service, and modern atmosphere. The Grilled Octopus was amazing and everyone loved it, even those that dont normally like octopus. The Wild Caught Mahi Mahi was delicious and everyone was impressed with the Cast Iron Rib-Eye. The drinks were fun and refreshing and there are plenty of dessert options, we tried the Chocolate Mousse Trifle, The Salty Sailor, and the NY Cheesecake. All were good, but if you want something unique go for their creative milkshakes. The Birthday Party is beautiful and fun but The Campfire ticks all the boxes if you like chocolate.

The 18hundred is our favorite place for food. We have always had a great time and the food is always good. The drinks & milkshakes are fun as well. I wish the venue was larger but its still a great place.

Omggggggggg‼️ Now let me tell you about these MILK Shakes!!! I ordered the COOKIE MONSTER 👹 IT WAS DELICIOUS 🤤 the Ice creme was real thick and Authentic. It also came with a Huge cookie seemingly homemade it was really good and some churro kinda stick delicious . I didn’t take pictures because it was hot and the sun was melting my IceCreme lol. Also chose dinning out because I ordered it to go , they even served me waters while I waited and asked me if I needed anything else. Their costumer service is fast and AMAZING. Next time I visit I plan to dine in so I can order yummy food as well. I look forward to seeing you guys soon thanks 😊 again

Everything was sooo yummy! The tomato soup and zuchini fries were so good and the burger was even better!!! Would definetly recommend, only downside is the waiting time to get in (waited 1hr) but...worth it!

A bright spot in Bakersfield! Great food with attention to detail coupled with spectacular craft cocktails by Cristo. This guy’s passion + creativity is on another level and made our experience outstanding. My wife and I spent the next leg of our trip on Ocean Avenue and in Malibu. We found those cocktails leaving us missing The 1800. Imagine that, sipping trendy cocktails in Malibu and wishing you were in Bakersfield. Well done.

Met a friend for lunch. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was was light and airy, the staff was friendly and helpful with the menu! We were in and out in just under an hour which was what I needed and I still enjoyed my food and my time! Didnt take pictures this time but I know Ill be back!! Didnt disappoint!

Ive gone 3+x now during lunch hour and theyre service is great. They are very attentive and friendly. They keep you updated if by chance theres a delay.Both times Ive received my food QUICKLY! Within 15 minutes of ordering. Now thats fast. The food that they cook up has good flavor and they have healthy options. I ordered a southwest quinoa salad 😋. It was so much I only ate a part of it and the rest I took home.Ive also had their mushroom Swiss burger. It was a good size burger. For appetizers we had their zucchini fries and their lemon cauliflower bites. Theyre cauliflower is DELICIOUS. They come with almonds and towards the bottom of the dish is the lemon flavor, so good! On one of my visits I ordered The Salty Sailor. It was alot for just me but was very tasty and came with 2 long Twix bars.Cant wait to try some more dishes!(Can you make a peanut butter shake? 😍)

Our new favorite place in Bakersfield. Not very big but modern, cool and what a variety of beverages and fun appetizers and mains. The food quality is high. Stephanie really made us feel at home right from the start. We knew there was a wait but she offered to take a drink order while we waited. Mia was very professional and made us, again, feel right at home. The well drinks were also very good quality. The price was well worth it as the quality level was a cut above. Just finished having brunch with my family here and it was amazing . The hostess was very sweet and seated us quickly. Our server Ricky was great, super friendly and on top of things. The food was really good and the presentation was great. Cute spot and everything looks so nice and put together .

Came to the 18 hundred and they immediately started being rude. Me and my fiancé and nice good hearted people who always give people the benefit of the doubt. Before sitting down they were giving us a 90 minute time to sit and leave but every person that came in after us was said NOTHING about only being able to sit at the table for 90 minutes. ( pretty fishy but whatever right ? ) so we sit down, there’s only one other party there besides us. 5 other tables are filled at this point all attended to besides us. We’re getting pretty upset at this point because 1. They were already making us feel not welcome. 2. They were attending to every other table that got there after us. We get up and processed to leave and a woman stops us an apologizes after telling them. Proceeds to give us our milkshakes, after we get up to pay and the girl who cashes us out gives the change but decides to keep a portion of our change. We tell her we’re missing a part of our change and she rolls her eyes and give us the amount she took without letting us know. 1/10 experience the milkshake was good but the customer service is what makes the place trash.

We went during lunch and the place was pretty busy. We were offered a high top table which is fine. Little did we know our server would happen to be the person working the bar. Not a big deal, just an observation. I don’t usually see bar people tend to tables.The food came out FAST! like super fast. Which is awesome.The staff was nice enough.The food tasted excellent.The dessert was the best though.

To keep it a simple, its a nice place not too fancy but a step up from Dennys. Its a place you take someone youre trying to impress but not too showy. Foods delicious, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Customer service at its finest! Loved it! Our waiter was as best as they come (it was a male with glasses; forgot his name but he was amazing). I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but the food was so disappointing. I ordered the Alfredo and it was the worst Alfredo I’ve ever had (so sad to say that because I love Alfredo), I literally only took two bites and was done. The milkshake was good, I give them that! Presentation was perfect! If we can get the food to match everything else, it can be a 5 star place.

This restaurant just opened and it was the talk of the town and for good reason. It was delicious!!! We were in the clean plate club!! We had a cocktail and aguafresca was delicious and refreshing. The service was fast and friendly. The pork chop dinner came with 2 pork chops but the brussel sprouts were amazing. I can just order a bowl of those! Let not forget the dessert. That’s was so good we had to finish it as well! Make sure you make a reservation. We didn’t know and waited but we didn’t care. You can go as casual or dressed up as you like. There was seating outside as well.

One of great things about downtown Bakersfield is the food. Many new restaurants coming and offering great good. The 18Hundred is no exception. The service was great, prices fair, but most of all the food was spectacular. Nice portions. It is on our list of favorites.

Overall I thought this place was good. I liked how the interior and exterior was designed. It had a modern feel with the lights and table decor. However, the chairs for the high tables were not too comfortable they felt like they were designed for children. They were small square bar stool type chairs. Thats about the only negative thing I have to put in this review.The staff was friendly and attentive with our party of 8. They delivered our food pretty quick, around 10 minutes. Food and desserts were good, the place seems popular for its unique desserts.

I had a mezcal mule and grilled cheese. The drinks were great and the cook knows what theyre doing. I will be back.

Cocktails are great, but the food is disappointingly awful. Im not sure how a restaurant both makes the most overdone and unseasoned fish Ive ever had and has incredibly flavorful zucchini on the same plate. I think Ill skip the food here going forward.

This place is SOOOO good. The staff is great and friendly, the food is fantastic, and its decorative. The bathrooms are clean, and before you leave you have to checkout the flower mirror! This place is so good and we will definitely be coming back!

The food was great, the service was really good, the atmosphere was very nice and the milkshakes were awesome. The price was really good also. Overall had a great time and definitely will be back. The only complaint would be that it was $6 for a small bowl of fries. A little steep for some fries, but everything else seemed reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

Place was amazing! Food is great and you get it fast. My daughter and I loved it. She especially loved the Unicorn Milkshake! Seating is very limited, but worth the wait. I was told there was going to be a 45 minute wait, but I actually got a seat within 15 minutes. Oh and the Mojitos are amazing!

This place is a serious homerun and easily one of the most important and relevant restaurants in Bakersfield. the quality of the food is outstanding. The staff are genuinely great, the location is legendary and the touches theyve added are perfect. I could not recommended this place enough.

Waited about 30 minutes for a table no prob Sunday lunch time. We were told as soon as we sat down there was a 90 min limit. I said thats great I dont plan on being here that long. Food was mediocre drinks were ok. Beer selection sub par. Had lots of people running around but only 2 serving. This is my nice review.

Went with co-workers for lunch, location is in a perfect spot, the food was good and drink were amazing but the service was horrible! One of the Male servers was beyond rude, seemed like the who time we were being rushed to leave. On our 2nd round of drinks and only a few sips in he told a party waiting at the door that our time was up and we would be leaving any second. Then he continuously kept walking around our table/booth with a rag and bottle spray making it even more uncomfortable so we didnt finish our drinks and just left.

This was our first time at The 18hundred and my family and I were blown away by the food!The Ribeye was perfect size and cooked to melt in your mouth perfection and topped with garlic and chipotle butter.The California Chicken sandwich was extremely well prepared and very tasty.We had a hard time choosing which burger to order because they all sounded so good and we werent disappointed with the Swiss Mushroom burger.The rosted half chicken was perfectly seasoned and very juicy. Would definitely order again.Finally the Cookie Monster and Campfire shakes were AMAZING!!! These shakes put all others to shame and we would come back just for dessert.Overall we will definitely be returning to The 18hundred.

Reservations recommended .. use yelp to make them.. very reasonable prices.. super yummy food.. kinda small place. If you dont like a crowd your out of luck.. they fit you in even have tables that you share.. the high chairs arent very cozy.. for skinny people or kids..

The worst dining experience I have ever had. When we arrived we were told that it was self seating, first come first serve basis. While we waited for the rest of our party we looked for any tables to open up because we have a baby. Half of our party sat at an open table while the other half was next in line to order. We were next in line to order our food when the manager Cody told those of us next in line to order food, to leave. Cody displayed unprofessionalism in the manner he handled the situation. He told those of us waiting in like to go over to our party and tell them we need to leave. He didn’t bother taking to us, he didn’t bother compromising with us. He just told us to leave and ignored us. When we asked him why he asked us to leave since we were next in line to order, he started to act extremely rude and dismissive. His employee Luis has also assisted us in seating the baby and seemed to be fine with us sitting. When we asked him why he said it was okay to be seated in the beginning he called over Cody to try to handle the situation. Cody then proceeded to say “you need to leave” and left back to taking orders. He completely avoided us and treated us very disrespectfully . I would seriously reconsider this restaurant’s management. Cody displayed extremely rude and unprofessional management that resulted in our party leaving the restaurant. We will never return. Do better 18 hundred !

When they first opened we fell in love with this place! The food, the service, the atmosphere - all great. Of course it can get a bit noisy when it gets crowded though. All of 2020 we missed coming here and couldnt wait for it to open again. Food and service is still great after reopening!

I finally got to go experienced the 1800! And it did not disappoint thats for sure! We had the tuna melt with cranberries, Turkey club, fried zucchini, cornbread with maple butter, philly cheesesteak, and a birthday cake milkshake! Im not a huge milkshake person, BUT.....ot was so creamy and the cake just melted in our mouths. #the1800rocks #bestmilkshakeinthewholewideworld

Oh man! Where do i start! This place was AMAZING!!! (Homer Simpson drooling face). The atmosphere and the staff was great!!! I took my great grandma here first time for both of us and oh man! I had the pastrami burger. 2 patties PLUS pastrami on top!! Soooooooooo good!!! My nonny had the pastrami melt. BOMB! then i had the mixed bag drink...now Im salivating writing this and not even to the shake!! Oh my lord!! I live in vegas and i have never had a shake like this. We have them there but they are good especially for $20! This shake at 18hundred was only $8!! We got the campfire shake. We were so full!! I was set for the rest of the night. I HIGHLY recommended this place!! Yall should take this place out to vegas!!!

Before seating us down they told us we had limited time to be “mindful” for others who want to be seats (btw it was almost no customers). Then I waited about 30-35 mins to get my order when I already ask if a waiter was coming I had to walk up front to ask. Then no one else came to ask if we wanted anything more than just our drinks so we just left. They were nice and came every other 5 mins to the white people there (didn’t want to make it about race but sure seem that way). When I gave up and just paid the bill she couldn’t even give me the right change back. She try to take $5 off from what? Tip or something ? Will never come back here again.

I gave this place one star but really means cero, nobody greeting you. We ordered and had to cancel because the male with glasses couldnt put two tables together for our group. He was very rude if your party is more than 4 dont go to this place.

Complete Jerks. My family and signed up to wait 40 min. At the 25 minute mark they tell me they are closed and are not taking any more customers. Never going there again.

Great service,nice atmosphere,and the food and drinks were really good.My friend had an old-fashioned and a burger with fried jalapenos.I had a pina colada and a falafel burger.I liked that the pina colada was not overly sweet and was garnished with dehydrated candied citrus fruits.It was also neat to watch the presentation of the old-fashioned which came in a glass dome(I wont spoil the surprise element.)

This place is fairly new in town but I can truly see it becoming an insignia in no time. The moment you go in youre properly received by the staff. Decoration is TOP, lights, music, and layout is flawless. I ordered bread for appetizers and the rib-eye for entrée, my wife had the lemon herb Mahi-mahi; all of it was fantastic. Also keep in mind that portions are far too generous, you might need a to-go box. Our server, Antonio, was prompt, polite, and threw some really nice wine recommendations which I really appreciate.From Dallas, Texas, came to California to celebrate our 2 years anniversary, found this jewel in Bakersfield and cannot wait to come back to let my friends know about this.This is a 5/5 stars place, rest assured that Ill come back for those milkshakes and burgers soon!Keep up the good work!
