Very happy that Rio Acai Bowls now has 2 locations in town. This downtown location will always have a special place on my like list because they were the ones who introduced me to this healthy treat! I do have one complaint. These things are expensive! Oh well, it helps keep me healthy...so its worth the extra bucks from time to time.

Had a awesome experience in this place with my girlfriend. The food was served rapidly and the customer service is just good. Prices are affordable.

I go often because I enjoy the bowls. I went in yesterday at 6pm and was told I could not dine in after 6. So I was there a full hour before closing and was kicked out. What kind of a policy is this? I have gone in many times at 6:30 even 6:45 pm and have never been kicked out. This is such bad business. If this truly is their policy, then I will never go in there again. What kind of business does this? I can go eat anywhere else a few minutes before closing and still get served. So why wouldn’t a business want to serve its customers an hour before they close. Very disappointing!

I love this place. The power house is my favorite. I get that amd im full for like 6 hours. And the staff is super awesome. The rewards program is cool too. I love getting my free bowl. And this place is so much cheaper and healthier than fast food. Still keeps me full. Thanks guys, youre wonderful.

The staff is friendly and they have numerous types of bowls from Acai, to dragon fruit. They even have some poke bowls. Prices are on par with other places that serve similar products. Very flavorful and the food is served pretty quickly. Will go back again

I love to go Rio Acai because I show some of my family the Ice cream & the frozen fruit. All of them have love it.

Have only been here once. I love Açai bowls, and I decided to grab one for myself and a friend I was going to meet up with later. I told the staff I wouldnt be eating them yet and one of them offered to put them on ice for me. Very happy with this place and will definitely be going back.

Honestly, I didnt like their poke bowl at all. The fish was fine but the sauce they use on their rice was hard to eat for me. Yet, over all the service was great.

Came here for the first time and I absolutely love it. Great customer service and nice atmosphere. I got the Brazilian Bowl and it was delicious. Definitely will be coming back!

We both ordered the Brazilian Açai bowl (granola, strawberries, bananas and açai) and it was pretty good. Ive had better but it was pretty good to our liking!! Im hoping to make a visit with my bf here soon because everyones raving about their poke bowls!!! So Im looking forward to that.

The food is tasty, not necessarily what I would have as a dinner, maybe for a lunch, and definitely for breakfast. The portions are rather pricy for their size. The kind of remind me of a dessert. The do have options that are similar to sushi, not just fruity choices.

Fish didnt taste fresh and didnt seem very good quality. I got the spicy ahi bowl and it was like eating old trout that sat on the sun. not much choice either. maybe I just caught them on a bad day but Ive found better bowls at other places for less money so doubt Ill be returning

Hmmm I must agree wit a previous review...I dont like the fact that my acai and strawberries were FROZEN!!!If I want ice cream, I wouldve bought ice cream I went to an ice cream shop...Now the taste and presentation is great After I let it melt 3hrs later... I wanted to enjoy 3 hrs ago... the granola are A-1 tho...I never experience acai bowl frozen (not a fan)...I love acai bowls tooo... and love strawberries!!I was gonna give 4 but 3 instead I had to wait hours eat it and enjoy.... wth

It seems a little expensive for how small the bowl is but it is completely worth it, I got the Brazilian one and despite being the simplest one was super delicious.

I liked this place in downtown Bakersfield CA, its quaint cozy atmosphere, the natural Acai bowls were delicious creamy with fruit, fresh, my sister had the fish bowl, vey delicious and nutritious! Customer service was outstanding, quick. They have an email discount plan. I will return!

Been coming here for over a year and they never seem to dissapoint. Great healthy options and always fresh. My go to is the powerhouse with protein, gets me thru the day guilt free.

Overpriced but delicious. Real shame they arent open on Sundays.

Used to love this place though it seems as of late the business has been booming and the employees cannot keep up with the orders. Sometimes I have waited more than 20 minutes on my bowl due to understaffing.

This was the first time tried an acai bowl and I absolutely LOVED it. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Ive been there about 10+ times and have always had good experiences. So far Ive tried the acai bowls and the spicy poke (like pokemon) bowl, DELICIOUS. Highly recommend it.

Best acai bowls in town . The other place on calloway isnt nearly as good. I love Rio and the powerhouse bowl the spicy Hawaiian poke bowls are pretty good Too.

A great addition to downtown Bakersfield, Rio Açai Bowls is a healthier option dessert shop. They focus on fruit bowls mixed with Açai, the Brazilian superfruit, and vary it up with other offerings such a Pitaya (dragonfruit) bowl and a couple of poké (tuna sashimi mixed with sauce over rice) bowls. The atmosphere is similar to an independently owned coffeeshop which fits the downtown location.

Rio Bowl is very good and pour over coffee excellent!
