Just wanted to give a shout out to the guys at the Avon Discount tire. Two times in the past few weeks they have helped us. We had a flat tire and drove home on a donut. My husband went to Discount Tire 10 minutes before closing without a word they took care of him found the problem with the old tire put on a new one. Then this week my are stopped in the middle of the street. At loss as to what to do one of the employees of Discount Tire came out to push me out of the way. Several of the other guys came to help. Thank you! Thank you! It’s nice to know that there is nice helpful people out there. 👍👍👍

I was recommended to them by a friend of mine whos a gearhead. At the time I had a 2008 Chevy Malibu that had bent rims on the front and needed new ones ASAP. I called them on a Saturday morning with the donut on my car. They were able to fit me in that afternoon with a set of four aftermarket rims for a reasonable price. Had me out of there in under an hour. I brought that car and my next car back to have the stem checked and they corrected it both times for free.Earlier this summer the dealer I bought my current car from told me I needed new lug nuts and tires and were going to charge me an arm and a leg for it. I brought my car here to have a second opinion and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They told me I could make it through the summer and should get them replaced by the fall. So I brought my car in yesterday and they gave me a great deal on four tires and lugs and got the job done in less than an hour. Im going to keep coming here for all my tire and wheel needs.

Guys there did a pretty good job balancing my tires that were terribly out of balance from Custom Offsets.There was, however, some damage on my wheels from their process. Not sure why wheel shops cant seem to take care of wheels that people pay big money for. Kind of disappointed because of that.

Staff was involved from the moment I arrived to the time I departed. Hard job, removing the tires off a self built trailer but the service tech managed the job. I went to the shop as a walk-in at 8am and was told it would be 2 hours before they could see me. I understand - I tell them I have to work - anything at lunchtime. They tell me noon. I get there at 11:55 and am told 45 min. That’s long but they look busy. Then I see a red car and hear he is getting similar work done - a balance and tire rotation. We are at the 40 min mark - the next car has to be mine. No - they take the guy in the red car that got there after me. Now I can take a wait and I can take a bad day of being understaffed. What I can’t take is disregard for an appointment and disregard for my spot in line. This place cost me 2 wasted trips and it won’t cost me another one.

Been here four times and have had nothing but excellent experiences. Twice they plugged my tire for no charge and did not push new tires on me if it was unnecessary. They are honest and skilled at their craft. My other two experiences were for new tires and I can say it was quick, easy and competitively priced. Thanks to Stephen for the service today. It was great and much appreciated! Will definitely continue coming here for all tire needs.

Ive had a couple different tire issues in past few months and theyve gotten me in the same day, thankful.

My passenger front tire was slowly leaking air. I called Discount Tire in Avon, Ohio and got an appointment for the next day to have tire evaluated. I took it up to the local gas station to put air in the tire until my appointment. I noticed the problem was a cotter pin stuck in the tire. I called them back and they asked if I could bring it up there today. I did, they said we will try to repair it but it may not be an option depending on the hole size and damage. Did a quote on a new tire just in case it was not able to be fixed. But it was. They repaired the tire right then and there and it was done within 45 min. from the time I pulled in until I was pulling out of the parking lot. Free of charge. Thank you Discount Tire. You took care of me. Great service. Friendly people. Highly recommend.

Excellent service would recommend to everyone

Decent tire place, they do not price match well and they only do tires. The manager was nice and did give us a bit of a discount due to a bolt being broken during the process. However, now I have to go to another place tomorrow and pay more to get said bolt replaced. You can watch the entire process happen through the window while they are changing tires.

Highly recommend! By far the best experience I have had ever at a tire place. My appointment was at 8:00am and I was back on the road by 8.45am. The staff was very polite and answered all my questions in a way I understood. Love the Life of the tire protection plan as well. My car is riding smooth and Im safe the winter!

First time at a discount tire shop. It was very refreshing to get tires put on and not be pressured to do anything else. They only do tires and wheels here and they do it very well. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Ill definitely return for all my tire needs.

Ive been here quite a few times before and service was always fantastic, but this time I was just dropping off keys to my truck for a tire rotation on Monday. The manager (Im assuming) asked if that was all I needed and if I had 10 minutes. They rocked out the tire rotation and sent me on my way. Discount tire in Avon is a wonderful establishment for your tire needs. I purchased four brand new tires a few weeks ago for a great price and was in and out within a half hour. A few weeks later my wife hit a Sharp curb and popped one of the tires. I made an appointment same day and received a new Free replacement Tire and the labor included free of charge due to the very affordable road hazard insurance I purchased as well , Great experience overall

Was in a jam in Beachwood with a flat tire. Called around to get new tires and they had the best deal. Gave me a 4 tire discount and a mail in rebate discount, and got lifetime warranty on all of them, without breaking the bank. They offered to mount my single flat tire with a new one so I could drive back out for the rest, got back close to closing time, and noone made any sort of scuffle about it. This is the discount tire to go to for sure! Used to go to the Parma Heights location because it’s close, but they’re always non stop busy, every single day. They’ve poorly balanced my tires a few times so I took my car here. Friendly service, tech explained exactly how they were balanced and fixed one of the tires that the tech at Parma heights “balanced” two days earlier. Car drives perfect now. Worth the drive if you’re a south slider like me.

Matt V was amazing! I had an appointment at 1:15. I show up at 1:13. He walks out 1 min later and pulls my van in. Didn’t even have to walk inside. These guys come to work to WORK! Had a single tire that had a very slow leak and they were able to trace it back to just being an issue with the valve stem. Took them a total of about 15 minutes and the service manager was very reasonable about the repairs. Would highly recommend them for your tire service needs.

Dustin and his team always take great care of me and my vehicles. We go there at years yearly for snow tire swaps. Theyve done things for discounted rates and even for free. They fit us in wherever works in our schedule. We are in great hands with these guys! Never going anywhere else.

Every time Ive been here either for tires, a repair, or new wheels, the customer service is top notch. If i could give them 6 stars I would.

SHOULD BE 10 STARS ! NOTE WHAT THEY DO FOR ROTATION: 1) Remove the tires 2) RE- BALANCE all the tires. 3) CLEAN THE LUGS (never saw a company do that before with a rotation! 4) WASHED the tires before putting them back on. 5) Treat me with utmost courtesy, EVERYONE at the store does this. Job took less than 15 minutes, tipped the two who worked on my car and drove home safely. Last fall I bought their Michelin Defenders, they not only matched but beat Sam Club prices, best tire Ive ever owned for the Rav4 Toyota.

I have purchased 3 sets of tires at Discount Tire in the past few years, on 3 different vehicles. Since day one, I have always received the utmost respect from all of the crew. Dustin Piskac sold me the first set. I was driving almost 50,000 miles a year at the time and needed something very durable and reliable. A bus driver from Chicago, who had years of experience manufacturing tires and had his own fleet of busses, told me about them. He let me know that he has been doing business with them for years and that they have the best warranty in the country. Yes, I am sure you can shop around and maybe get tires cheaper somewhere but from what I have experienced in my life, cheaper isnt the best route to take, especially when you are dealing with safety items. I guarantee that the knowledge, professionalism, and overall quality you get from doing business with them is well worth it. In the long run, you will find that you have saved yourself money and a lot of aggravation having peace with the fact, that you do not have to worry about your tire maintenance.

I would like to share todays experience at Discount Tire in Avon Ohio. First of all, I called twenty minutes before the store closed and told them I was having a low pressure problem with a tire on my wifes car. I live twenty minutes away, but Dustin told me to come on in. I got there and they determined it was a screw in the tire and they fixed it immediately. I asked Jake how much I owed and he said that he had taken care of it free of charge. Unbelievable! Now I have been coming to this location for about four years, but they had never even seen this car before. Some might say they just want my business, but to me it felt like something else. I felt valued. I felt like Wow, this is my store. I felt like I was back in the 80s at the Mom and Pop tire place back home when I was a kid. I knew they would always take care of me and that is how it feels with Discount Tire in Avon. I only wish more business were like this. I will always give them my business. I hope someone reads this so they can go and have the same good feeling I had today. Thanks guys. You are true professionals who know how to do it right.

I had a slow Puncture. As with all garages, I approached Discount Tire with caution thinking they would try to up-sell me something that I didnt need. When they asked for my address, I refused - thought this would be another opportunity for someone to sell my details to a third party resulting with my house being inundated with flyers for the next 10 years. I WAS WRONG!These guys were very professional, courteous, and repaired my tire free of charge (NEVER KNOWN OR EXPERIENCED THAT BEFORE) after discovering a razor blade was embedded within it. Flat tire repair was free and the mechanics were quick and courteous. I had a bad experience at another Discount Tire location years ago and had avoided them as much as possible but the staff at this location complete changed my mind. Ill return to the Avon location any time I need repairs to my vehicle.

I am unable to put air in my tires, I stopped and ask for help, and the employees there were great and helped with out hesitation! The young man who checked my tires and put air in them was so nice, checked them all and gave me a slip with the information on what my tires needed. My son and my sister bought tires from this location, and they told me they were great,, they were right!!

Never have had bad service there!!
