Great manager and great outside staff. Rented from this location twice in two months. Very friendly and professional! One time, I forgot my iPhone ear pieces after returning the truck. Went back the next day, they held it for me intact. Honest and respectful. Highly recommend this location. The best location out of all in Austin area in my experience.

I made a reservation over a week before . They didn’t have the equipment I asked. I understand people do not return equipment(which was the excuse that day) but that is why I am making a reservation. I didn’t do it the night before to get that excuse. Also, i made the reservation in a location which was 2 miles from my house but they moved it to one 12 miles (for the second time—this issue might be more with Uhaul than this location, but I still have to say it) god knows why so I had to drive over 2 times or more the miles expected when I made the reservation. I usually do not write reviews but I was very disappointed. Just make sure you have at least what we have in the reservation. I had to purchase a dolly in there because it was gonna be impossible for me to move without that so I ended up spending more….

Holy multitaskeroly. Someone give Camry a pay raise. She had me and three other people in and out in no time. I have never ever ever experienced that at uhual, and I’ve moved so many times in the last ten years. Best uhual experience Ever!!!!! My past uhual adventures involved me sitting there while they click and wait on the phone for some reason… this is my personal hell. Thank you so much Camry! We might get moved in today because of YoU!

Well I was going to rent a U-Haul truck today but after reading all the reviews you guys have been getting thatd be the last place Id come to I mean it was like thing after a thing at this thing you know missing money people not knowing what theyre doing no help from the corporate management the better Business bureau needs to hear about you guys and trust me after reading all this I think Ill call him I happen to be an attorney. You guys are missing point in a time of crisis like this you dont care you have no compassion and youre trying to screw the general public and get as much money as you can sounds like yall need to go back and flip hamburgers I hear they pay more. The receptionist (skinny African American lady) was super rude. We paid for the truck & dolly and she said dolly was in the truck but when we started moving & realized that there was no dolly in the truck - drove back all the way to U-haul (16 miles up n 16 miles down) and she was like “first come first serve”. Then why the heck she said there was dolly in the truck as she lied. The response was very very rude. I will never prefer / suggest this U-haul location again. Thanks for wasting our time and ruining our schedule.

September 26,11am.Poor Customer service at the front desk. Stood in line for over half an hour while people were being called out and served behind me. I use u-haul all the time, Ive never experienced that kind of treatment. I will never use this u-haul again.

Horrible CompanyI rented a U-Haul truck on April 28, 2020 from Lake Charles La and paid $641.35 for my truck $51.05 for moving equipment and $325.00 for moving help. When I arrived at U-Haul in Lake Charles Louisiana and started the mobile pickup I was informed of a $100.00 deposit due to me paying with a debit card. On May 1, 2020 I returned the U-Haul truck to my designated drop off location, followed the instructions in the mobile app and called the U-Haul customer care line to assure the drop off information was submitted correctly. The lady that I spoke with assured me that everything was good. I asked the agent about my $100 deposit because I only received a refund of $65.00 and she told me that was my refund minus the extra day and insurance on truck. I then asked her about the $5.95 handlers fee from the movers and was told about making a review before I would receive that refunded to my account. Today at 4:47pm my card was charged $89.40! I call customer care center and spoke with an agent that had no clue about my $100 deposit and tells me that the extra 89.40 was for my late return! I asked to speak to her supervisor (Samantha) which also could not explain to me about where my money went and why or how my deposit went missing through the mobile app, why I was over charged at the time of pickup and that’s why I received the $65.00 and why I was told on May 1, 2020 that the extra day was taken out of my deposit and the $65.00 is what I had left. I was also told the $89.40 was taken because that was my extra day with the truck and she reopened my reservation for her higher up team to look at. I don’t know if this is an issue with the mobile app or is it your employees not knowing what they are doing. Why am I missing my $100 deposit and another $89.40 has been taking from my account? I have used U-Haul over 6 times in the past 10 years and have never encountered these issues until I used this mobile app but after dealing with my money missing, nobody can explain where my money went and the company is still taking money from me, I will never waste my time with this company again! U-Haul has stolen from me and my family! I am a very disappointed customer and out of $189.40 with horrible customer service and lies from my agent on May 1, 2020!

Well, we went there looking for a 20ft truck and the white guy at counter explained that they were out of them for Saturday 10/31. He didnt even try to help us to ask if we could use a truck on Sunday or Monday. I thought he was too relaxed and inconsiderate in help find somethi g.

Ordered online moving boxes for pick up. Employee was not wearing a mask and not maintaining 6 feet away from customers. Im incredibly disappointed in the lack of basic safety precautions and will not use this location again. If I had not prepaid, I would have immediately left. I will find another location who cares more about the safety of employees and customers, or I will find a different company for rentals and moving supplies.

Lisa Michael is a Godsend. She helped me out so much. She was prompt, professional and suuper polite. She stayed extra hours for me after 7, was there extra early (around 630 maybe earlier) when I came back. I dont know how she works those hours is still is super professional, I know I couldnt do it. Thank you God for people like her. 6 stars if I could.

Lisa was very courteous. We went in to buy some moving bags and Lisa greeted us and pointed us towards the products. We got in line and were quickly helped by another gentleman who was having issues with the register and Lisa came over to assist. As we were leaving we saw the “take / leave box with used boxes”. We needed a few for our move and Lisa just gladly pointed us to help ourselves to as many as we needed. I know U-Haul and similar companies get a lot of poor reviews for slow service, but that wasn’t the case here and I got treated very respectfully. As someone who has moved cities more than 5 times and has had good and bad experiences, I can say this is by far my best interaction with a U-Haul employee ever. Thank you Lisa and team.

I was going to give them 5 stars until I called them to confirm the return of the rental.Getting the rental was easy. The guy who helped with the paperwork did an awesome job explaining everything. This is why they started with 5-stars. After completing the move I dropped off the truck after-hours. Theres a sign with disclaimers saying it was your responsibility to make sure the truck was returned. I call the next day to confirm the return. First tells me he was out sick and could not help and end up transferring me to another state(PA). Second rep in PA transfers me back to TX. The guy who ends up picking up asks me for the equip #. I give it to him and he tells me the truck wasnt returned. I tell him the truck was reserved for someone at 9AM. Im calling about my rental which was yesterday not today. He says; I dont know what to tell you the truck is not here. To which I say; Just because its not there doesnt mean I have it. Can I speak with your manager please? He say; OK. Then puts me on a long hold (I think he thought I would hang up). Someone gets me off of hold and just hangs up.Now thats poor customer service skills. Instead of calling back I checked my email and found the final bill. I wish I did that first. Painful!!!

Rented several trucks from this location and never had any issues that weren’t immediately addressed / solved. The entire process from reservation to check-in is smooth. Josh checked us in yesterday and when I realized the truck didn’t have a middle seat he quickly swapped the truck for a larger one and didn’t change the price! Excellent customer service. There was a fuel level discrepancy when I called to verify the overnight drop off was received, due to swap out, but that was resolved it immediately and in a friendly manner.

Convenient and easy to get to. If you order online make sure you get all of your items before you leave. Also if you rent any equipment with the vehicle such as follows, check the condition of it to ensure it will work for what you need it for. I rented a furniture dollie, one of the wheels was broken. I also bought a mattress cover online and they forgot to give it to me. I got it after I moved the furniture.

Reserved a 20 truck 2 months out and was given a quote of 829.00. Thought that wasnt bad since Im driving out of state with it. Upon further thought, I realized all my furniture can fit in a 15 truck. Why have the extra especially on a 2 day drive? I called to change my reservation and the price came out to roughly 850.00 dollars. Confused why it cost more for less they tried to tell me the rates change all the time. So, 8 days after my first reservation of went up over 100 dollars? No, not quite correct. The quote was 754 and they neglect to tell you that doesnt include any taxes at all. So my original quote of 829 for the 20 foot probably would have been closer to 1,000 dollars and I would not have known that until the day of pick up. The paper does not say no tax, the employees do not say no tax. This seems like a really shady thing to do. If I had a choice, I would do differently but I really dont.

11/24/2017 on this day customer service charge me 409.90 for outstanding balance on dates 11-17-2017 do date 11/24/17 at the setting of 22nd management of U-Haul facility overcharge my account consecutively and had to delete on file to stop from charging outrageous fees that are not symmetrical to invoice (symmetrical being in in likeness to agreed contract pricing which was $53 a day)have to ask them please do not add on any more charges after this (Im so this satisfied with your customer service accounting skills and your software) for them to stop if it was not cheap will not go there again

Bad customer service. Called and asked if they sold propane. They said yes. I asked them what time they close and they said 7:00 PM. I pull up at 6:50 and hit the button for propane service and nobody comes out. I wait 5 minuites or so and go inside where the clerk behind the counter tells me the propane closes at 6:45. I told them what I was told on the phone and their only solution was to come back in the morning when they open. No apology or anything. Use other services if available.

Manager has a horrible attitude. If she hates her job so much she should maybe think about working elsewhere. She was rude and in no way helpful. According to the other reviews it appears this is an ongoing thing with her. So maybe uhaul should start looking into this because its not a good look.

I rented a storage unit at this facility for about 11 months because I had to temporarily move overseas. It turned out that my unit was directly below their air conditioner, and it leaked or condensed into my unit at some point while I was gone and created extensive water and mold damage.After I discovered the damage, management was not helpful, unresponsive, and rude. While waiting on the insurance claim I needed a written confirmation from the facility for something. It took repeated calls for two days and finally me driving to the facility to get what I needed. Their customer service was terrible throughout the month I was dealing with the damage and waiting on the insurance settlement.I also advise against UHauls recommended insurance policy. The insurance claimed they had never received the photos (which I sent to them twice) and tried to rip me off really badly. I continued to refuse to settle and eventually was able to get a more reasonable amount, but I still lost hundreds of dollars of goods in that unit that I was not reimbursed for and were not salvageable because of the mold damage.I strongly recommend against renting unit 1013 in this facility because it is under the AC unit and there were multiple large, obvious water stains from where the water entered my unit. Units 1015, 1017, and 1019 are also directly under the AC but I do not know if they suffered damage.

I rented a van for the weekend. Happened to be in the back to college window for Austin students so making a reservation well in advance was a must. Several walk ins got turned away while I was there.The staff was great but the computers were having issues. They did their best but it still took a long time to get the van. Retuning was not a big hassle, no real issues.

The guy in the store was awesome. The guys outside not too much. Didnt help us hitch the trailer to the truck, gave us a broken trailer....made our trip a day longer. But Enterprise did send help from another town when the trailer broke and those guys that came over were awesome!!!

Terrible customer service. We drove by and saw a truck that we were previously told they didnt have. I called to see if it was available after all. Robin asked for some of my info. When she asked for my credit card info, I requested to know if it was available first and she hung up on me. I never leave negative reviews, but this is unacceptable. You cant expect people to hand over financial information and refuse to tell them if the product they want is even available.

Horrible service from the phone to make sure they could take a return trailer to walking in the location .Workers acted put out to have to help a customer and told my husband to wait outside and well be out there in a minute when they came and unhooked the trailer she pushed it to the location she was putting it and it skidded across the concrete lot on the hitch. If thats how they treat the customers and the equipment I would seriously consider renting somewhere else

After speaking with the employee John and him reassuring me everything would be ok, the store manager did a total 180 and acted in the most rude way possible. Ive never had a problem with uhaul until I rented from this location.

I reserved here 2 days ago went for pickup and freaking reserved the truck in maynard texas which is 3 hrs away from Austin and said we will offer 20% off if you go there and pick it up. Lady didnt replied its not my fault because she wasnt the one who took the call manager didnt even bother to apologize and simply ignored. Honestly since their attitude was rude, I complained and my language was offensive. Soon as you know they call the cops and tell us to get off the property. I explained the situations even the cops understood my points. They dont even know how to even run the business and doesnt value the importance of building customer relations which is key characteristics in any business. The fundamentals of STAR, situation task action and result were overwhelmed by ignorance. Why spend millions of dollars in corporate marketing if the actual cash flows come from actual business that needs to focus on the basics of building relations with people. No wonder this place deserves 2.5 stars from the people.

Wrong truck was given to me due to the wrong key being in the box. Then manager questioned me if i was sure i drove the wrong truck. She told me that she needed to check the cameras before giving me a refund. Horrible service and i will be reporting it to the BBB.

I rent a truck for 1 day told the price 29 +0.89 per Mile which I estimate for the mile 40 only drive 35.2 mile i took pictures of fuel Gauge before and after with a 1/4 tank I did call the store and ask for help the told me only manger can help I ask to hold and the Hung up the phone this is poor customer service and stilling fuel
