Decent Indian grocery store with a good collection of regular indian grocery items. The vegetables section did not have enough variety and looked stale.

A very nice Indian grocery store, the store manager takes good care of customers and reaches out to you if he sees that you are confused between products. It is conveniently located and you can make a quick in and out. Of the store.Found a huge variety in products and found most of the products are carefully curated giving you a selection of quality products and produce.

Gandhi bazaar chain is the best Indian grocery in Austin. In all the locations, the store managers are very welcoming and helpful. They genuinely like their work and want to help their customers. They know the customers personally and that ensure their needs are taken care of. I think these values were inculcated by the precious owner.While the chain has a new management nothing much has changed. Its a well run enterprise. Congratualations to team Gandhi bazaar for making it a success story.

We went there to eat. The food is good, but the service is not very friendly. We had to knock on the kitchen door to get service. Employees speak very little English. The food comes out quickly.

I have been a regular customer for 4 years now, not because I particularly liked the place but only because its been convenient. Ive always found the store manager/owner very insincere. He sells expired products! Yes, its my fault I didnt notice before billing them but why is he even keeping them in his store?? Yesterday was the last straw when I bit into cake rusk and noticed a weird taste. Checked the date and not surprisingly, it was expired. Picture attached. Ive bought frozen paneer curry that was actually expired. One time I was billed for an item that wasnt bagged and when I went back, the manager was so uncourteous about it! Well, Im done with this store!

Absolutely love this place, very friendly service and a great selection of Indian food products. Having been to many Indian grocery store, this is one of the best. Products are always fresh, well stocked, and there is a large selection of organic products. Highly recommend the somosas.

I love this store. I can always find all of the ingredients I need to prepare Indian or Pakistani dishes. Plus there is always a new delicious treat or two to discover. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Super punjabi thali and chole bhature.I came from Delhi and used crave the food from home. The taste of the punjabi thali and chole bhature satisfied my taste buds and now I can concentrate on my purpose of visiting Austin. :)

Good selection of Indian grocery items. Store staff is polite and very helpful. Their pre-made curries (which you can take home and cook with your choice of proteins) are delicious and unique to them.

There is a lot packed into a smaller space, so I can see someone saying it seemed cluttered. But, I found everything that I was looking for and at reasonable prices. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the store and was asked--after just the right amount of time--whether I needed help. What a total delight. You just dont get that kind of service in the big supermarkets these days. Another reviewer mentioned not being able to see totals at the register, but we were helped right away and there was a large screen that displayed every item. We enjoyed it so much that were going to make it our first grocery shopping stop.

This place is like a spice heaven! I was so shocked that not only were the other shoppers super helpful, but the staff was too. The prices here are great, and the selection is wonderful as well!

Beware of this place. They overcharge. One mango costs 1.50 and a crate of 9 mangoes costs $13.99. When I told them, it should be $13.50 for 9 mangoes, he says it is more costly if you buy 9. That is so stupid. At least need to be honest

Indian spices, box foods, including frozen and fresh produce. They pack a lot into a small space. Next door is a counter service restaurant that sources from the store.

Crowded but good place. They have maximum things you need. But they dont have nonveg food in frozen food section

The store is well organized but a little too much clutter. Although Im really disappointed with the checkout process. First of all it is slow and you cannot see what is being charged until you get the bill. The bills almost always have mistakes that I discover when I get home. They have been around in Austin for a while and have multiple stores not sure how it is in other stores. All I can say is forget the gimmicks just get this corrected and get rid of the clutter.

Surely the best Indian grocery in austin ! They have great selection from all parts of India. They carry their own store brand of really good masalas, wet mixes and other foods. Their little eatery is very good, try their Dahi poori, one of the best. The owner is very friendly and offers personalized service. In the right season you will also get awesome alphanso mangoes here.

Order the Thali, its the original balanced meal. One of the better places to get authentic gujarati undhyu - a taste of gujarati cuisine, such places are few & far between. Theres always the classic Samosa with a piece of raw, green chilli & ThumsUp (the stronger, less sweeter Coca Cola)
