When you want Mexican culture without going to Mexico. El Racho is the place. Staff are very friendly and helpful.Try the sweet bread, Tuna (prickly pear), JU-Mex, mango, papaya, and marinated chicken breast.Avoid the pork skin. Yikes. Lol.

The beef fajito tacos were very delicious the service was impeccable and the waitress very friendly thank you for you for your great hospitality.

Which is honestly surprising seeing thats mainly what they are stocked on.However, I love their already made green salsa and few select meat products. And their bread is amazing, get there early or you will miss out on it. Depending on their shipments they also have a good selection of produce thats cheaper than HEB.The cake: When you think about this cake, you want that soft, sweet milk flavor... However what we got was soft cake on the bottom, hard flavorless cake on the top. The Oreo was so soft you couldnt grab it. You think your cake has milk until you get to your car and it has all leaked out the container its packaged in. Tres leches is truly an art of flavor, and they failed this cake.

Bought a phone from El Rancho. Phone was previously stolen and refurbished. Becareful, they did not refund my money. Will never go there.

Im giving El Rancho one ⭐, because theyve raised and lowered the price of the toilet paper so many times, since my first review (11/17/2020) it would make head spin or give you a headache.Since that review, the mgmt. has changed the price of their toilet paper from $2.99, $3.99, $4.28, and $4.99 per 12 pack.Im not interested in this going back and forth frenzy.Forget about it.Ill stick with HEB and Walmart, and whoever offers me a sale.theyve decided they do not want customers to come to there store just to get discounted toilet paper. [And, I was a regular customer.]

I really didnt like the womens attitude, she was being rude to an elderly woman trying to get her nails done a certain shape,and Im guessing she could not really understand her and stated to get loud with her,had it been me or my mom or grandmother I wud hv walk out and go her a big piece of my mind..now I didnt like the way she talk to my daughter when she was getting a pedicure,I will not go back and definitely not advise my friends are family could go there at all no wonder they had no people when we got there bad attitude

Used to shop here weekly, but quality of food is bad! Will go bad in a few days after purchasing, now I just stick to other stores. Went in today and... What a disappointment! Carts were disgusting, bread display semi empty, handles dirty, no hand sanitizer anywhere besided the restroom. Will stick to other stores who actually care about there customers. Store might seem clean because its nicely displayed but please dont be fooled. Take care!

Baked good are good and so is the fish sold already covered in corn meal and seasoned. It fries up beautifully. Most items are pricey but the lines are short. Good place to stop to pick up small items for a quick fix for dinners.

I enjoy going for on show supermarket I get to find most of the things that I need but theyre very clean the restrooms are clean or C not parked in to fart in the area and site assistant for taking roshers not too sure but everybodys well respected him well cleaned

Ladies at food court always mess up my order or make up their own mix of things lol. I know theyre trying to help but please just give me orange juice not apple and orange juice and something else you know Ill like 😑...

Great selection of fruits and veggies. Amazing prices on Mexican butchered meats. Avoid the seafood. If you dont speak Spanish you will experience a language barrier.

This is a great supermarket with so much to offer. Bakery, fresh meat & seafood counter. Also serves hot food-Latin specialties. Overall, great experience even for someone who doesnt speak nor read Spanish😊!

It is a nice place to buy anything latino products. I usually come here to buy my celebration cakes and they always serve me with a smile and professionalism.

If you go specifically for some things like vegetables this place could be inexpensive sometimes. Although you need to be lucky because the quality of the food is very inconsistent. We used to shop quiet often here but we got tired of finding bad quality multiple times and prices not that inexpensive compared to HEB where quality is always consistent.

Customer service, bakery in particular, was very rude for no reason. Other location was much friendlier & from now on i’ll just drive further out to go to that one. This place is probably fine if you’re running in and out and don’t need assistance.

Fruits and veggies fresh, no scales to know what you are buying (weight). They weight it when paying.

Good prices and you find things you cant find in other stores

You have to be careful , what they mark when you pay. I bought pork meat, and they charged me ground beef price, also apples showed one price and when I went to the cashier they again charged more. They have some good specials, just check prices when you are paying.

Ok step out of your comfort zone and make trip South of the border to El Rancho. The baked goods are awesome and exciting. They have a large selection of spices that your cant get any place else. And they are the go to spot for Chiles for mole and red sauces. The meat market careful displays lots of unique cuts and sausages. Definitely worth the effort to find a parking spot.

There meat market employees don’t were there masks properly

I paid this store a visit looking for a specific item only to be stopped by management advising me that I need to leave my backpack with staff at the front; practically insinuating that I had motivates to steal. Staff had been watching me the moment I walked in and conversed about me in Spanish via walkie talkies.What these humans failed to realize was clearly I have plenty of money as I was carrying a $1200 phone in my hand with an $800 dollar watch on my wrist. I don’t need to steal; not my style.Whatever you do, don’t walk in this store with a bag of any kind. I wonder if women are even allowed in with their purses? If so, why exactly do I have to leave my belongings with staff?That is all, goodbye.

As I dont speak Spanish much, I found shopping here a bit difficult. I do think they were trying to be helpful, but if I needed help to find something, I couldnt get it. I dont think this store is in a particularly heavily Hispanic area. They have an extensive meat market that smelled clean and had good prices. They also had excellent to me selection of dried chilles that made me very happy. I found some of the veggies a lot more expensive than HEB or sprouts. They have a huge bakery that looked delicious,though I found the signs a bit less clear than in the meat section. Overall, the store is more crowded with smaller selection than Fiesta. Where the two similar distances, Id be doing there. But alas Fiesta is 3-4 times further. So forquick shopping trips this will have to do.

Tons of delicious ingredients!

We bought Barbacoa from here for the 1st time this weekend and paid $30 for 2 lbs, after getting it home and putting it in the pan we found it to be tons of fat and grease more than actual meat. We lost so much meat throwing out the chunks of gummy fat. Very disappointed considering the price per pound, back to trying to find a good place for our Sunday spread.

I just love this place! It makes me feel like Im in El Paso or a Mexican border town. The selection of baked goods is terrific, and so are the prices.

A Mexican Supermarket, but in a mixed population neighborhood, so, the stores should have mixed population workers to represent the neighborhood. 50% English should be represented!!

Very good products, but the manager was very rude! I was with my kids looking for some products and went up front to ask where to find it and she just rolled her eyes and turned around, I had to ask one of the cashiers for help and the entire time I was in line she kept looking at me with a disgusted face I believe her name was suany or something like that. It was a very uncomfortable moment, I dont think im going back any time soon!

Bad experience, dirty floors, bad odor, low quality products. The bread was disgusting. Really slow customer service. The cash registers are outdated so checking out was slow. Prices were high. Overall a really bad store never go there again.

Went in for lunch plates. Service was terrible, waited at lunch counter and nobody helped me. Asked for help and the lady in th back said she was cleaning. After 20 minutes I left. Never going back.

Secret tip, you can get cheap fajita here at the butcher thats way cheaper than any HEB and yes they speak English and the food is safe to eat.

I end up making quite a few Mexican meals due to Mexican spousal influence and as such, make quite a few trips to El Rancho. I like this grocery store. The people who work there are quite friendly. They have some amazing deals on produce and meats. The only consistent gripe that I have would be with their checkout lines: there are no lanes clearly marked for some (20? 15? 10? whatever) items or less. This makes a quick in and out difficult and I often get caught in the checkout line behind the best of several lines with customers who have large or involved orders. It can sometimes add another 10 minutes onto what would otherwise have been a quick trip to the grocery store.

I like the pricing of the meat dept but I dont like having to speak in broken Spanish to get my order. If you work in customer service anywhere, you need to know English as well.

Asked for tostadas in English but cashier spoke not 1 word in English. Si habla Espanol but I figured tostadas was the same in English and Spanish. Even after I asked in Spanish she was no help. Wont go back!!
