I regularly drill myself and kids using the book and the fun supplemental practice pages that come with Risas y Sonrisas! The book is so colorful and all 3 of my kids like the songs and a few really help you learn word families. Advanced concepts are treated well for beginners to get verb conjugation and verb tense construction practice. The curriculum makes learning fun!Im not sure the publisher would like this idea, but I took apart the practice booklets and placed each page in a sheet protector and filed those into 3-ring binders for dry erase, re-usable practice.-Natalie Schroeder

I got my daughter a one month online membership to risas y sonrisas and it was phenomenal. I can’t say enough positive things about how my daughter enjoyed playing the games and especially singing the songs. Even I was singing them! She’s been taking Spanish face to face classes for a few years with a teacher she dearly loves, but she hated the virtual classes and I wanted to keep her practicing Spanish. This was exactly the boost she needed and the online platform was exactly what she needed to start recognizing words and getting used to masculine and feminine articles. The songs and games are a brilliant idea and really differentiates this teaching method from others that I found. Moreover, I should mention that when I called, Leticia spoke with me both in English and Spanish extensively. Well rounded program, with plenty of resources to choose from to keep lessons fun, active and engaging with young students.Suggestion: include books or a suggested list of childrens literature (picture and chapter) to incorporate in the program, adding another source of teaching and learning.
