This is a beautiful little place to sit inside and drink your coffee with some friends. Unfortunately for me, Summer Moon doesnt accept cash; fortunately for customers, ordering is expedited due to the cashless policy. I ordered the 16oz Nitro Black, a 20oz Winter Moon latte blended, and a moon milk. The cold brew wasnt the best, I didnt really get the Nitro feel I usually get from a nitro cold brew. The coffee did taste good though. I think Ill get a regular hot cup next time.I enjoyed the Winter Moon latte blended. The ice was blended in little uniform pieces. I could satisfy my rock craving without having to break a tooth chewing on the ice with each sip. I didnt have any issues drinking from a clogged straw. I could taste the coffee, but it wasnt overpowered by sweetness. I think there was moon milk in this drink. I could feel the fat from the milk on my tongue; not unpleasant. It reminded me of drinking farm fresh Jersey cow milk.(Off topic: Try Triple S Family Farm in Gholson/Waco, TX. Best fresh milk I could find in centex. Though its $8.00 a gallon. Cash or apple pay only)Moon milk: Oh, moon milk. If that dictator, Fidel Castro were alive today, I feel hed have gallons of this stuff on standby. I didnt ask but this stuff is rich and not meant to be drunk on its own. Once again, I had that farm fresh aftertaste. It was sweet and creamy. I felt like there was some seasoning in there, but I cant be sure. It definitely goes well with an espresso. The 1/4 moon latte is my next choice add on to my order.I didnt try any food here, Im not a fan of coffee shop food, but Ill give this place a chance and would encourage anyone to do the same.The Atmosphere inside is bustling for a coffee shop, its obviously not a library and not a place to read or write if youre easily distracted. The bathrooms are clean, the sinks are push start and auto shut off. I love how theres plenty of time to soap up and rinse your hands before the sink shuts off. Theres guest WiFi so if youd like to save some data, there you go. The deco is clean and homey feeling. The AC definitely works especially for those cold blooded folk.Tl;drCoffee good. I really enjoy all of the Summer Moon Coffee locations. I typically go to the new location in Tech Ridge but I stopped by this one since I was in the area. The staff are efficient and friendly. I received my drink order before I could finish snapping photos! They’ve got some cool latte drinks too.

Summermoon is my favorite coffee shop in the Austin area, hands down! I love all their coffees and am so excited when I stop in for a cappuccino on my way to work. My friends love their moon milk. I am sugar free so I dont partake, but I have tried it and it is delicious. They have Taco Deli breakfast tacos if you get there early enough in the morning and that makes it even better.

Great little hidden gem. Masking & social distancing in place. Soy and milk alternatives available. Friendly and helpful staff. A little hidden due to road work.

I heard about this place from the hotel receptionist. And I’m recommending it to you all! I got the half moon winter latte and it’s a bit too sweet for me, but I don’t generally like sweet coffee. If you’re like me, go for the quarter moon.Still, 10/10 for quality, atmosphere, staff, the whole shebang.

This was our first time visiting and we absolutely loved it the coffee is spot on to the flavors we asked for and is so delicious. Wait time was only a few minutes and honestly the shop is just the cutest. Customer service was awesome! We will defiantly be visiting again!

One of their smaller locations, but lots of outdoor seating. It gets crowded from 7-10am, but dont let that stop you! Grab one of the pop tarts!

The only time I write reviews is when something negative transpires. I have never had an issue at Anderson Summer Moon until today. I placed my order online, I received both confirmations. The shop received my order and it would be ready at 8:16am. I arrived at 8:30am. My drink wasn’t in its usual pick up spot so I asked a new employee if a ‘drink for Vanessa’ had been made. She swiftly responded “If your drink isn’t out, it hasn’t been made yet, we’ve been slammed ”. I replied “I received an email confirmation” she responded with the same statement but with a lot of attitude this time. She couldn’t be bothered. I bothered her again and asked for a refund. She responded that they didn’t give refunds for online orders. She was incorrect because I have been given refunds by the shop before. After more unnecessary attitude, she called a coworker over. He refunded my money. Like how can you be late with an order and have a an attitude, I didn’t make the shop popular. I ordered another coffee though so…bye

Omg! Good thing I finally tried their moon coffee because I would be missing out. There seems to be a lot of locations but we chose this one because they have cute store design.We got the iced matcha moon milk and iced blue moon milk (lavender). Both were so good but I liked lavender a bit more. Apparently 20oz comes with either 3 or 4 shot espresso shots. But I just went with 1 1/2 and I like how they asked how much I want.They only use soy, almond, coconut and oat milk which was a plus for me because I cant drink whole milk. The coffee really tasted more like bubble tea but not entirely sweet, I enjoyed the smooth texture.Obviously with COVID-19, they were set for social distancing. Limited capacity 50%. Friendly staffs and clean restrooms.

Fantastic coffee I just wish the places they chose to open would be more accommodating space wise. This location has such a limited amount of space to stand that I feel like Im standing on top of people and it is the same feeling in the south Austin location... that said the coffee is so good that Ill keep coming forever.

Coffee is quite tasty here. I got the black coffee and my wife got a latte.Their wood fired coffee angle is quite nifty. Gives it a unique flavor. Definitely will be back when I’m in the area.Staff was even friendly and helpful when I asked for suggestions.

Roasted local cafe in Austin! Very unique flavor, the most delicious I have tasted so far seriously!!!! there is great variety in their coffee presentations with their own signature!! One of my favorite coffees in Austin. The best service is at the original location but they always make a good drink here. I love their Moon Milk which is a must have for those who like flavored or sweet coffees. They also have great drip coffee.

Great lattes and friendly service. Good ordering app -- we order 1/4 moon lattes regularly on the (web) app, leave immediately and they are ready when we arrive. 4/5 because they arent consistent -- the volume and sweetness can occasionally vary enough that I need to either dilute (too sweet) or sweeten on my own.

This is a really cool coffee shop! The building it’s located in has interesting architecture. They’ve got a nice patio and fun interior design as well. The coffee is good, especially the lattes and americanos. I had a decaf americano and it was a little too intense caffeine-wise; I was bouncing off the walls later. Still, it’s a good spot. I recommend coming by and trying it out.

Enjoyed the ambiance here and really appreciated the staff who carefully explained to me how their signature drinks are created. To me iced blue moon is their no.1 early summer drink, which offers a great balance between the richness of moon milk and the thickness of coffee fragrance with a lingering light and aromatic aftertaste of lavender. But their drinks could be less sweet, or maybe I didn’t make the instruction clear as I was not familiar with the sweetness of their dairy products.

They have cinnamon rolls! Like real cinnamon rolls! Not crusty morning buns. Or croissants shaped in a circle with cinnamon and sugar. I’ve been looking for a classic, iced cinnamon roll for a long time. Their coffee is great as always. Highly recommend the cold brew as well as the half winter moon latte. This location is a bit on the smaller side but so pretty and the outdoor seating is awesome. They even have cornhole and what might eventually be a fireplace?

What a beautiful Summer Moon location. There are plugs everywhere, of which I am a huge fan of because there are some cafes that have a very limited quantity of plugs and its so annoying trying to scrounge for one. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the staff. They are so nice and gave me a great recommendation of the blue moon! The space inside is so lovely and lots of tables. There is a very large outside area as well. Will definitely be coming back here!

Love the coffee but took over 20 minutes from when my order should of been ready!!! Tried to make this place work but they always have some sort of delay.... if you want coffee from here put your order in 30 minutes ahead. I will never go back to this location.

Ok your drinks are really good but the service and consistency is really poor. Enough to stop coming, I tried. Today they served me a HOT iced latte. As I approached the barista to ask for it to be remade, I was met by a new sign reading “barista busy, please don’t bother” So I left but this time for good

They didnt have change for a 10$ bill and offered me a one time free drink, but then I wouldnt be able to tip them, the girl was like no yu dont have to, but Im not about to not tip, so i had to insist for them to take my money hehe :)

I love Summer Moon Coffee! I prefer this location because its generally not as busy as other Summer Moon locations in the morning (7:15a-7:30a) so I can make my order and it will be ready quickly. Max wait time is 5 minutes.This location gives you a $0.25 discount if you bring your own cup so thats nice too :) BRING YOUR OWN CUP!The parking lot is a weird spot where you have to drive one way in a U turn parking lot. I recommend you park toward the end of the U. Its easier to drive out (you dont have to worry about cars pulling into the parking lot) and guarantees a quick way to leave. Also more spaces available on that end.

Wood-fired coffee? Im not sure the wood-fired part matters, but the coffee was great and the service was incredibly friendly. The unique lattes were smashing.

Definitely hit or miss. I have ordered the same drink every time (1/2 Winter Moon) and when it’s good it’s great but half the time it has no flavor/sweetness. Even without the flavor the latte tastes great but it is disappointing when you are paying for the moon milk ! It’s hard to justify stopping by and paying $5 a drink when it’s a 50/50 chance for how it turns out.

Updated review - Appreciate Summer moon reaching out to address the issue. Lately, there has been much more consistency and the experience has vastly improved. Back to $6 coffees on the regular, LOL. Seriously, give Summer Moon a try and you won’t go back to regular coffee.——————————-2 Stars because when they get it right, the coffee is solid. The problem is, they rarely, if ever, get it right.Today was the final straw - we order here 2-3x per week and the coffee is far from cheap at $6 per Latte. Numerous times, and especially today, the coffee is not hot. It is barely warm. It is lukewarm, erring on the side of cold.There are a few inexcusable reasons for this that Summer Moon fails to address:1. They give you a pickup time well after your coffee is ready to give them buffer time on making orders.2. They put your finished drinks on a bar for pickup, with no heat source to keep the drinks close to temp. If you do not pickup your drink within seconds of it being finished, it has already begun to get cold.3. No stoppers for their cups. Thats right - the

Cool place to chill, just not the biggest fan of their coffee. If you like strong, somewhat heavy coffee this should be the place for you. Moon milk is a great addition to the coffee. Porch is awesome on nice weather. If you tip, hard to get out of here for under $4.50.

My go-to place when Im trying to make a coworkers day just a bit brighter. I recommend Summer Moon to many people that are newer to the Austin area, and in several years of doing so I have not met one person who was not as equally as impressed with this place as I always am.

I first tried Summer Moon many 5+ yrs ago. I really enjoy the 1/2 Moon lattes, the Moon Milk is great!I didnt/dont like the politics (real or perceived) connect to it, so I never went back after the first visit. I finally decided to visit again - but still dont like the politics (real or perceived).Theyve been great about COVID-19 safety protocols!

It is a great cafe and you can ask for their Moon Milk in your cup of joe. I usually get the drip coffee, which is their wood-fired specialty. I wish they accepted cash like the Fort Worth location does. Also make sure to bring insect repellent if you are sitting outside, there are many mosquitoes here in the summer!

I had forgotten that they only take cash (since Covid) and didnt have my card with me when I went in. The barista asked what I wanted and made me a free coffee! They are SO incredibly nice and chill here, love this place.

Awesome coffee, service can be a hit or miss but for the most part theyre great ...sometimes the wait could be bad even online orders go over theyre target time as much as by 15-20 minutes which is terrible seeing as they charge a service fee for it least they could do is have it on time maybe hiring more staff, also could use better cup quality multiple times where my cup caves in from the lid portion

Ive been a Starbucks girl ever since my son introduced me to them years ago. When my niece suggested a coffee as she was driving me home from eye surgery, I was surprised to see we were at Summer Moon Coffee. All I can say is, Move Over Starbucks!!

A quarter summer moon was all the sweet I could do but really enjoyed a coffee beverage unlike the normal go-to as they are harder to find these day. Friendly staff and were patient with my kiddos questions. Clean, masks worn, quick pickup outside option which is a new perk but a perk nonetheless.

The moon milk is enough to come back from Hawaii to have another cup. Lol

I absolutely love Summer Moon, but here is why I will rate it a two, this isn’t the first time I order online & every time I pick up my cup is like halfway not sure if that’s a thing but why charge a full price when we only get 3/4 full as if someone was sipping on while I got there, who knows. But please provide a full cup just like we pay full price.

I literally drive from my job in Lakeway to stop here to find out that the turn off the steamers 30mins before closing. So you can not order anything hot outside of an Americano.
