Scott was very helpful with activating my new iPhone. He took the time to explain along with helping answer all my questions about new accessories. The only bad experience was a gentlemen claiming to be the store manager ink g over and was very rude. Scott asked him to come over and help him and without listening to the entire story he said I needed to go to the corporate stairs to return phone. I wasn’t trying to return my new phone, was trying to set it up.Other than the other man’s unfriendliness and his lack of empathy, Scott was amazing.

The customer service at the store is superb. All the settings and carrier information had been wiped clean off my device and I honestly thought there was no easy way to fix it without having to send my device back to technicians. Fortunately the Hunter and staff at this location is extremely knowledgeable and equipped to take on any Challenge but they fixed it without a hitch. Thanks a bunch for saving me!

I was originally frustrated, because I struggled to get in contact with the store on the phone and the hours posted were off, but once Will was able to work with us, he was great; explained all of the options we were considering and made sure all of our concerns were addressed before moving forward. Only downside about this location is that, being brand new and just starting to open, they’re not very well stocked just yet. I recommend calling ahead to see if they have what you’re looking for.

Hunter was fantastic to work with!!I popped in the store in a panic.My wifes Android phone died, and needed an immediate replacement. I had to take a replacement to her ASAP.On top of that, we had been thinking about changing our phones to iPhones. I purchased two iPhones on the spot.Hunter explained the new iPhone features to me and transferred our info from the droids to the new iPhones in under one hour!!!This was customer service at its best!!Great job Hunter!!!

I visited Russell Cellular at the following location on 1/6/2020: 10930 Lakeline Mall Dr, Austin, TX 78717I purchased a blue iPhone 12 mini. I wanted to pay for the phone outright but was told that I could only pay for the majority outright and the rest would be added to my monthly payment. I ended up paying $774.70 that day with the remaining amount added to my monthly bill.On 1/10/2020 I returned this phone. The employees were having problems issuing a refund. I was told that the way that the phone was sold was non-standard and was causing problems with the refund.That day they took my phone after working with them and told me that it would be credited back to my account. It never was.I have now been to this location 4 times trying to get them to return my money and every time I am told that they will have somebody call me back. The people there dont have the authority to refund me and are unable to contact anyone who does.I have taken time off work to get this solved multiple times. I have never received a call back from anyone. Everytime I go there I am told there is nothing they can do. I have even contacted their online support weeks ago and never received a response. It has now been almost 2 months that they have had my phone in their possession and are refusing to give me my money back. This is theft and its illegal.I will be going to this location one more time and I will record my interaction as my final piece of evidence, along with text messages from staff. If they once again refuse to refund me the money, I will be taking them to small claims court and requesting reimbursement for court fees and time lost.I highly suggest avoiding this place. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a business in my life.

Disaster - SIM cards not in the correct phones - rebates not applied correctly - put us in the top tier plan even though we requested the lower tier plan. Go to a real Verizon store. Ill take a refund of the $25 setup for success fee for all 4 lines that you charged at this store!

This used to be my go to for anything Verizon but now the past couple times I’ve been in their customer service is just nonexistent. This time came into the store nobody said anything one worker on the phone setting up another phone another one with a customer which I understand. But not even a single hello will be with you in a minute nothing nobody said a word. After 10 minutes of people trying to ignore me I decided I would walk out the door and then and only then did one of the workers ask if they wanted to check me in which I quickly responded no. This is twice in the past week I’ve had issues even though I’ve wanted to upgrade to phones and possibly upgrade a tablet on top of the thousands of dollars I’ve spent at this store over the past several years and this is the service they have now. They now lost all my business never again will I go to the Verizon store

My husband and I needed new phones. Jennifer was very helpful and courteous. He told her exactly what he wanted from information on the Verizon website. She explained what options there were and what she thought was best for us according to our usage. We even were able to trade in our old phones for credit on products for the new ones we got. She was very attentive during the whole time we were there even though they were busy. We are satisfied with our new phones and the service provided by Jennifer.

I’m not quite sure this is even an actual Verizon Store anymore. I stopped in here for a repair on a covered iPad device... and I can only describe my experience as similar to walking into a MetroPCS reseller location at a local mall in Waco Texas - circa 2005. This guy... bless his heart.Was answering the phone, cursing about it and writing down on a sticky note an 800 number I should call.He was not in charge of his surroundings and I think he may have walked out from under Lake Creek bridge to run the store that day.There are no phones here, just blank spaces that used to have phones. It’s a weird dystopian society of what once was a Verizon store.There is no Verizon rep here, just someone that stuck the name Russell Cellular on the door. So weird...

TL;DR - trade in deals were not honored, horrible customer service, understaffed.Horrible customer service experience with them. I have been in the store 4-5x and every time they refuse to resolve any actual issues and instead point me to Verizon customer service. Not only that but every single time I’ve been in there is only 1 employee working and more than enough customers. Twice I’ve had to leave because the employee could not process the customers.We recently switched on a Black Friday deal. The phones took 10 days to arrive and I was never contacted or notified, even though they assured me they would. When I tried to trade in they said the trade in period was only 15 days of which I was NEVER notified. Not only that but I was promised $440 for trade in on three phones. Upon arriving to trade in they said “$75 take it or leave it”.DO NOT COME HERE. Go to Verizon directly, I hope these retailers go out of business as every single employee there has been useless and only made my life harder.

A laundry list of disrespectful events. If you don’t want to read this just know it was HORRIBLE dealing with these people.I walked out WORSE than how I walked in. If I could give them less stars I would. They are only authorized retailers from version they are not corporate offices from version. This means you get charged a $25 just for doing business with you. They is always one employee MAYBE two employees helping everyone. I went in a five times and I was only able to get service once.I ordered a phone and it took ten days to come in, then no one called me when it was ready. However the employees failed to inform me I only had 15days to exchange my old phone. Then once I tried to exchange it in stores they told me to do it online. I tried calling customer service but I was on hold for 2 hours. At the end of the day I wasn’t allow to exchange my phone but I was charged for the “service”The list goes on.Overall HORRIBLE experience

Terrible service. Had to make multiple trips to pick up my new phone saying that they couldn’t let me pick it up even though I received a message that it was ready. Also took my trade in phone for weeks and then called me to say that I had to pick it up and send it myself. I asked why it took so long to tell me that I needed to send it, they said that they were busy. I even conformed multiple time to make sure they could send it and they said yes. I should never have trusted them. Will never go back. Worst customer service ever!

When I explained to him the technical issue we are having with a phone he proceeded to tell me it is not a technical issue and talked to me like I was a child. Im sorry. I think I know what is going on with the phone. I walked out of the store extremely irritated and no answers to the issue we are experiencing. Worst customer service by the Manager Joe! He won’t call you back when you call and doesn’t follow up or through with his responsibilities. December 23 My new iPhone 12 Pro had issues with the speaker and no one could hear me on the line. I went in and asked for a new phone and it was like pulling teeth to get resolve. He said it would be here Dec 30th. It’s the 7th of January and he won’t respond to my calls or texts and the salesman is at a new store and won’t help. Beyond shocked after buying a $1200 phone!

STAY AWAY - The staff does not understand the deals they are proposing and once your Verizon bill hits a month later, you get charged for much more than you were promised. And when you try to resolve it, you have to sit there for hours and watch the immature staff goof off around the store while you sit on hold with Verizon (because they cant do anything themselves).I was in that store twice trying to resolve an issue they screwed up on my cel phone plan and I still needed to have multiple hour-long chats with Verizon at home to get things straightened out.Honestly, this place should lose its Verizon store badging... Very dissapointed.

This is the worst store ever. All the employees are new and cannot do anything on their own. Avoid this store at all cost. If you must go, especially avoid the mornings when the employees are hungover (Mikoa). They will send you to a corporate store to avoid helping you. I’ve never had a worse experience then the 3 times I’ve had to use this store. Never again.

Im difficult when I spend money. Christopher was very patient and helped me get what i wanted. Very helpful. I kept asking questions and changing my mind and he kept giving me answers and switching the devices Haha.Gave me a honest advice on the plan I would need for my line of work (saving me some money). It was AWFUL, the salesman named Matthew lied to my daughters face then walked off. I personally have bought 2 phones at this store and will NEVER buy another one here. I live in Kansas, but I used this store because our daughter ( who lives in Austin) said it was a good store. I am totally appalled at what happened at this store. Cory was a really nice guy and he definitely helped us get the phone we wanted and did his job efficiently and quick. We werent there very long at all and left the store completely satisfied.
