So, I had been having these difficulties getting this lithium bank added to my system, searched near and far but couldn’t quite find anybody dependable to get it done. I was wanting to improve the output of power that can be projected to my system so that it could perform like it was meant to. I made a call and was told to bring it on by. Not knowing what the outcome would be, I was met by the highest level of customer service and professionalism! Now I’ve been coming to CS over and over since 1998! In all that time I have never seen customer service like I’ve seen at the Research location, and believe me, I’ve been at all of em! On the install, it was much more work than anticipated, and the technician there was able to get it done in an adequate amount of time! And not only did he get it done, but he went above my expectations of what it took to get it done. Even cleaned up some wiring and placement of components in my system! And when I tell ya, I’m above satisfied with the performance of my system! My overall experience I’d say was a five star ⭐️ performance by the whole staff as a whole! I’m very appreciative! Purchased a new computer interface (zz-2) for my 2019 Lexus so I could get Android Auto. Custom Sounds did a great job. I am so happy I went to these guys.Car looks the same as before, and now I can use Android Auto.

This was my second time at this location. The staff was very welcoming and got down to it. My jeep has tha beats and an upgraded security system thanks to the team.

Complete waste of time. Went there to get antenna base installed on my car. They gave me an appointment for one week out, saying it will take 1-2 hr to get this done. After a week of wait when I go there first thing in the morning for my appointment, first they are like hmm, tech is not sure how long this will take. Then I showed them pictures for how this will be done (telling myself maybe I should just do it myself). Then the front desk gentleman comes back and says, Sorry our tech is just too busy today (probably on some high $$$ job), we gotta reschedule you again...REALLY? Guys at the front are nice but handicapped by their techs who definitely have no concept of commitment or customer care. Go to best buy instead at least you will get a consistent service. And by the way, I installed antenna myself in less than an hour. What a shame Custom Sounds!!!

Ive got a 1999 Toyota Camary that was in dire need of NEW sound system.walked into the 183 location and was greated by Wyatt F., explained my situation and he knew exactly what Miss Daisy needed to make my driving with sound a better experience. He typed up the quote , we walked into the display room, listen a bit and I said lets do this. Appointment scheduling was easy, left car overnite so I wouldnt miss work the following day. Courtesy call when vehicle was ready. Wyatt was helpful with setting up my new bluetooth to have hands free phone. I am enjoying learning how to use all the bells and whistles of the KENWOOD KDC-BT378U CD-Receiver and the KENWOOD eXcelon front speakers are a great new sound. thanks.

Overall happy with both the install and the equipment. Decided to upgrade my 2000 Tundra that is still going strong rather than spending money on a newer truck. Now have a nice Pioneer display with Apple Play, back up camera, replaced the factory speakers, added a remote start and alarm. Now have true hands free. Siri actuallyunderstands what I am sayingnow with the new mic! One issue - had a weird buzz but the tech resolved that on a return visit. No fault of his - finding a good ground has always been a problem for me with this truck. I normally do my own work but glad I did not tackle this project. Leave it to the pros!

Daniel Estrada helped me in getting my windows tinted on my vehicle. He even saved me some money by stating that my back windows were colored and not tinted and therefore I did not have to get my back windows tinted. He gave me several options of film to choose from that included low end film all the way to high end film. His knowledge of high quality window tint films made me feel comfortable in spending money with him and at the store! He also got me booked for an appointment and I was able to be in and out very quickly!

The work I had done to my Camaro has turned out to be a nightmare!!! It takes a LOT for me to post a negative review about a company but after spending over $4500 to have WATER DAMAGE all throughout the trunk of my car, I feel obligated to warn others! Part of the install was a custom sub box which was paneled off through the trunk entrance. That, in addition to the amp and wiring, ended up taking up my entire trunk space, which I didnt mind initially... But after some time i noticed the sound quality of the system starting to diminish. Went ahead and unbolted the enclosure to evaluate only to find that the placement of the box had knocked apart the sunroof drain hose, allowing water to flow into the trunk and damage the sub box, RCAs, rust my spare wheel well, and potentially the subwoofer itself from the box moisture. I decided to look at the rest of the system and noticed how poorly mounted the tweeters were as well as how unprofessional and poor quality the install is as a whole behind the glitz and glamour (wires hanging, electrical tape everywhere). I would never take any vehicle back to Custom Sounds!

I recently got my car stereo installed at Custom Sounds on 183. I know nothing about car stereos and wanted a system that sounded clean but not over powering. I went to Custom Sounds and met with their manager (Daniel Estrada) to discuss the options.I had some initial reservations about whether an aftermarket system would still look “factory” and work seamlessly with the existing functions. Daniel assured me that it would so I decided to take the plunge.I’m happy to say that everything worked out great. Even better than I expected actually.Custom Sounds installed the entire system in just a few hours (on Christmas Eve no less). They walked us through the new system, explained the various options and even answered a few follow up questions over the phone after we left.Great product!! Quick and friendly service. Daniel Estrada was extremely helpful today at the Research location when I went in today for tint on my SUV and shopping for some audio upgrades. Even though he was helping a handful of other customers and answering the phone he made sure to answer my questions while asking about what I was trying to accomplish and making suggestions that would likely work for me. He walked through a couple of demos on some stuff and ultimately made some suggestions on a setup I hadnt thought about. You cant get this kind of service online and it is one of the reasons Custom Sounds is a place I have continued to shop at over the years. Daniels expertise and attentiveness will continue to bring me back in.

Daniel the manager was excellent. I got window tint and a new sound systems installed. Everything was done quicker than promised and at a great price. I will definitely bring any of my other cars to this location if I have any more custom work done.

Daniel Estrada for many years has been our go to for car and boat stereo equipment! Knowing nothing about what I wanted in 4 vehicles and a boat he asked me questions to better understand what I was hoping to achieve. Every time he would show me multiple prices ranges and if one brand was better quantity he would encourage us to buy that one, even if it was a less expensive product. He always scheduled our install promptly and personally made sure everything was installed correctly before letting us take our vehicle. I will never use anyone else!

Great options, great setting an appointment w Daniel, competitive pricing, plenty of products to choose from, they’ll install equip you bring, however the 2-star is for one particular reason; time.I dropped off my sedan at 10am for a 6 speaker upgrade. This appointment was set a week in advance. They didn’t complete it until 7pm.So if you’re thinking of coming here, plan to have your vehicle here for the day or longer.

Went in looking for a quote on subs and window tint for my truck and Daniel Estrada helped me come up with a good one and something I had not known previous that was better than what I had in mind at the same price point. and I have 10 years experience with car audio! He also set me up with window tint the way I wanted and the install team did a great job had all the back windows 5% and front 30% and got the truck back looking great in under 2 hours.

Had a 15in skar sub with a 1500watt skar amp. Took it in at 10am and it was done at 1pm. Very fast service. Great customer service. Sub had a lot more bang then I thought and they took it right back into the garage and turned it down for me and its prefect. Thank you guys so much.

Gave them clean normal car to fix the sound. One speaker wasnt working 100% of the time. Now i have only one speaker working and picked up my car dirty inside. I don’t recommend this place if. They are not professionals - when it comes to more complex fixes. It will be much better and more professional if you work on your car by yourself. They didnt fix anything, they spent a week working on a car and i payed them miney for this! Unbelievable!

Custom Sounds installed equipment in my 2003 Pilot a week ago and I left very pleased with the service. It became apparent the next day though that the equipment was not quite what I expected. I called Daniel the next day and he arranged for an immediate solution to my problem. The experience was great; and, it appeared evident while I sat in the waiting area that Daniel delivered the same courteous service to all the other customers that came in while I was there.

Just do it yourself, this place rips you off and can’t schedule at all, waited 2 weeks and was there at 10am yet they just asked if i could just reschedule

Went in to see about getting my factory radio replaced with something that would do Nav and install a backup camera. They were nice enough and worked up a quote for me, but then refused to supply me with an itemization of the quote to consider and educate myself before making a decision. THANK YOU AGAIN!***I went to this shop with a question, my amplifier is showing an orange light. I ask can they check it out to see why. They took my truck to the back. After two hours and they said they had to rewire my subwoofer because they was done improper. I got them wired up at cartoy. So unless they wire them wrong. Everything should work fine. However I let them rewire my subwoofer because they claim it was wrong and I couldnt go to the back to see for myself. So then they came out and said it could be my amplifier. The salesman took a different subwoofer to the back and checked it and said it is not the amplifier. It was the subwoofer wiring. I said ok did you fix everything. I was told yes everything is fix. I asked did you test it out he said yes. I left the store and did not get into the street god and noticed the orange light was coming back on. I turned around and the salesman said it has to be the amplifier because the subwoofer are good. I had the amplifier returned in for service and it turns out the amplifier was good .so now I have to wait 3 week for it to return from the manufacturer. I would not be upset or hurt if they did not loe to me or just tell me they do not know. I would pay to have it checked and the results were they did not know. But to tell me its one thing and that is not the case is wrong and I can not pull myself to trust this location to do more business with. Because they will not tell me the truth, they will take my money and lead me down the wrong path.

These guys are the BEST!! I had a strange wiring set up to get my speakers to work and they were able to solve the problem and did it at a great price!! Would highly recommend.

We made an appointment a week before taking the car in, made it for 10am, the earliest we could make one. The idea was to be there first to get it done.When we went to the store to drop the car off we were told they dont actually have anyone at the store that does tint, they call someone else to do it for them. They said because of that they cant promise it being done until 7pm.My questions are; 1) why do they call this place Custom Sounds & Tint if they dont actually have anyone there to do the tint? and 2) why even take an appointment for 10am if they are going to keep it all day anyway? and 3) why not tell me when I called to make the appointment that they didnt have anyone there that does the tint, that they call someone else to do it?I only used Custom Sounds & Tint because of a Groupon. I would NOT suggest this place for a tint job.

Miserable experience from start to finish. Told Daniel the only reason I was replacing my current stereo was to add sirius. Wasnt ready when promised so I had to leave it overnight. When I went to pick it up, I tried to tune in Sirius and he told me that it wasnt working because I said I didnt want the antennae....really? Again, the ONLY reason I replaced the original was to get sirius...so an additional $70 for the antennae and $75 installation....no offer to forgo the installation charge at all. So my $199 stereo was a mere $675 out the door. Avoid this place at all costs . Unfortunately zero stars is not an option.

They had the gear. The price was right. Im a fan. They were helpful, and courteous, even though Im a deal demon. Rock stars.

Im sure service is fine, but it was a little disheartening being a single female getting quoted $300-$400 , then going to Pro Audio and paying only $120 for the same issue and am beyond happy. Customer service is also about being FAIR. I understand more corporate places have to go by prices, I just find it odd I was quoted 4x the price then somewhere else.

Great price and sales on window tint, only improvement I would suggest to get a 5 star rating, is after the job is done leave the interior and exterior doors and windows clean....they were streaky with residue when we picked our car up.

Dont even bother going there. I called in asking for their pricing on window tints for SUVs and they said $150. I proceeded to go into their shop and not only did none of the staff greet me, but they saw that I was there and continued to ignore me for several more minutes. I was fed up and asked them about the window tints for SUVs and they said that it was not $150. I asked them why, and they said its just a script they have to follow. Not only that, but the staff had the most monotone, lifeless attitude Ive ever encountered, and I will definitely NEVER come back to this store. I would give zero stars if I could.

Good products. very pricy though. staff is veru knowledgeable and confifent. I think I overheat $200 an hour. Thats the price of an attorney. not someone installingy car speakers and/or stereo.

So this place really sucks. Here’s the too long didnt read of this;Payed $2000 total for this system and install, they didnt put the rail covers back on the back of my driver seat, they ruined the dash pieces around my head unit to the point where they need replacement, there’s a constant white noise in my car that shouldn’t be there, a possible incorrect install causing my battery to drain, glove box wasn’t put back together when I got my car back, and now (2 weeks later) the mounted amp has fallen.We reached out to this shop to fix the issues because it has a lifetime warranty and they blew is off. They tried to tell us the white noise is just “the nature of the beast.” They told us to come down on a Tuesday afternoon to take care of it and when we got down there whoever helped up told us to come back Saturday to take care of it.Dealing with them left a bad taste, so I contacted the manager who got me an appointment at one of their other shops to fix it. I’ll be leavin a review on that shop as well, because they haven’t helped me either, and have been quite rude.

I called this location and made a appointment the day before my service was done, I work 10 hour shifts so I had my friend drop my car off when they opened at 10am. When my friend left he told me it will be six hours because they’re customers in front of me, which made no sense because I made my appointment for the time they opened. They called me after 5pm and told me my stereo system was done but not my tint, because their tint guy was backed up then proceed to offer me a higher tier for the same price and could do it the next day. When I arrived to pick up my car they then told me it would be a week before they could do the tint so I declined. The total price they quoted me for stereo system install and tint install was $600 total, when I asked how much I owe for the system install the price was almost $600 by its self. I said thats not what you quoted me over the phone, they took off less than $50 for the inconvenience. My car was there over 7 hours, and I’m sure the system install only took 3 hours max, I could of had it taken somewhere else so it would of been done before I got off work but they waited until the end of the day to tell me. Don’t take your vehicle here unless you want to pay more than the price they tell you, wait all day and still not have your work finished.

Horrible communication. Left bare wires exposed on my boat wires and almost caused a FIRE!!!. Went to go back and rectify but they had another boat in the bay and asked me to waste my Saturday AM trailering a boat around town as I waited. Why didnt they call? I had an appointment, so why have me show up and then tell me they dont have a bay. Took to another location for the warranty work to fix the burned wires. Could have been really bad if we were not on the boat. PLEASE AVOID!!!!

They mounted my amp onto the back of a seat and like 2 weeks later I looked at the amp and only 2 of the 4 screws were in and no my amp is getting all messed up when I drive cause its moving all over the place. I wanted at least 30 minutes for the guy to stop answering phone calls.

Took my ride in for warranty work on a MESA Remote Start they installed a year ago. Turned out the issue had to do with a conflict with an ODB2 unit I had added. No charge, and they took care of it quick.
