I came in the store looking for Rihanna’s Fenty products. The young girl assisted me and said that this other young lady would be able to Asian me over there. So she pointed at the other lady and I happened to walk all the way over looking to where the girl at the front told me to go. I went looking for the lady to help but she walked off. So I looked for the foundation and found it after walking all over the store. I didn’t even have a way to test the product. I took it home and,. I was not happy with my purchase. The staff there isn’t friendly. It was so unwelcoming. I didn’t go back to Barton Creek Sephora to buy anything. I went to the Sephora in Georgetown and bought more stuff with a beautiful staff.

Had a great experience. I spotted this store on my way out of the bookstore nextdoor. I didnt know Sephoras had stand alone stores. I needed primer and they had such a great selection. I really like that they had mostly better quality products. I feel like Ulta definitely has everything for every beauty want but lets be honest, the lines are ridiculous. Everyone at this store was incredibly friendly and really helpful. Great selection. Usually at Ulta I quickly just grab and go with what I know I want then go wait in a 20 minute line (on a slow day)...I got to shop without bumping into someone in a tiny crowded isle. Totally different experience than at Ulta and I got $10 off for spending more than $50. That doesnt happen at Ulta until you have like 8000 points. I havent shopped at Sephora in years. 5 stars all around. Will be going back because they sell high quality makeup products, theyre friendly and no line.

Thank you JT for your help at Sephora! I came in a bit of a hot mess express. Not knowing which products to purchase. JT recommended some options based on what I described but I was still unsure how they would turn out with a fresh face and in my daily routine at home! After going home and tested out the products they worked like a dream. JT might have thought I was a bit particular and needed some SOS saving at the time but I am thankful he continued to give me recommendations and his time! He gave me great recommendations that I am obsessed with and so glad I had his help, I really needed it!

I like to return my items here because the staff is really, really RUDE.But TODAY was the worst. Today the lady was excessively rude to me AND my family. She made it sound like we can’t afford Sephora items. I almost slapped the attitude out of her.That’s why I always buy from other Sephoras, and return the items I dislike HERE.Eat my shorts w/your bad attitudes :P

Absolutely horrible experience! I understand with covid stores have limits of how many are in the store at a time but they take it to a whole new level. Before you are allowed to go in you have to give a valid reason and specific product you plan on purchasing. When I couldn’t remember the name of the product I was met with a nasty attitude and a phone to my face by an employee who told me to find it. When I told her I could just browse until I found it she wouldn’t let me in. After going through all of my Sephora purchase history we finally found the name and she let me inside with specific directions where to go. The moment we get to that isle another employee walked up to me and started bombarding me with questions like what I’m looking for and what color and I told her that it’s okay I’m just looking and she continued to stand over my shoulder trying to tell e what to by and that I need to get color matched. I ended up letting her know that I was just going to leave and walked straight out.

Please educate yourselves on allergies & eczema before requiring customers to use store provided hand sanitizer. 31.6 million people in the US - 10% of the population - suffer from some form of eczema with varying sensitivity & severity. No one should be required to expose themselves to likely immunosuppressant & toxic chemicals without informed consent. Customers aren’t even allowed to touch anything that they aren’t purchasing...

I came in because I was wanting to get a shade match for a foundation. As soon as I walked in, I was asked by a Sephora employee if I needed assistance. I told her what foundation I was searching for and she took me to it. I asked if I could get a shade match so she called her associate over to help. Victoria was the employee who shade matched me, and she was so sweet and professional. I was very pleased with shade match and the assistance that was given to me. I would definitely recommend shopping here!

Nice clean store with a huge amount of items. They really have anything you could want. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They dont try to push you in to buying expensive stuff which is rare when you are shopping for make up/skin care items.

Please consider how it impacts your customers when you have several employees following them around and repeatedly checking in on them. Not sure if this is protocol but it is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, esp for POC. I shouldnt have 3-4 separate employees check up on me and then linger when I say Im fine. There are so many reviews that talk about being racially profiled, maybe do something about it?

Terise was incredible! Extremely helpful. She was patient and provided us with samples on things we weren’t sure about purchasing yet. The lady who was the cashier on this date on the closing shift was also very sweet. However the associate named Winnie (wearing a scarecrow look for her make up on 10/26/2019) was extremely rude. She wasn’t willing to give actual recommendations on products, and simply said that all products are great, rather than giving a genuine suggestion. I understand wanting to rush me out because it’s late, but if she was more efficient with her responses, I would have left a lot quicker. Mind you, on my receipt, the time that I left was 9:02pm, so I did not hold them back late at all. She was rude to both my mom and I, and my sister. There were constant complaints coming from her whether it be about showing us where the trash was, as if we were in kindergarten, to complaining about product placement. As a frequent Sephora customer, it is extremely unpleasant to be followed and to have products taken out of my hands to be put back when i am not finished testing them out. I hope this review serves Winnie as constructive criticism because treating customers like that is not good customer service at all.

Wouldnt come back here ever again. Been going to this place for like 5 - 6 years and the staff always following me and constantly ask me do I need help like they suspect me of stealing, im not the type of person to do that. Even stop going there for like 2 years because it made me super uncomfortable, went back there the other day and still are following me around and it’s disheartening because I gave that place thousands and thousands of dollars.

I went in today for help with skincare, and AJ was so accommodating! She sat me down and showed me all these products that help with super sensitive skin, and she demoed everything on me, and she was so professional!! I highly recommend going to her with your skincare needs! She was incredible!

I always experience great customer service here- I have been helped many times finding the right color of foundation, or the right brush for my budget. Their store manager is awesome, and the whole staff seems to be knowledgeable and are all very helpful. I would definitely recommend this Sephora.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with Sephora. If its last minute makeup for an event to picking out the appropriate shade for your complexion Sephora has it all. Tge associates are very knowledgeable about their products. They are also very honest about if something works well with you or not. If one person cant help you another is right there to pick up. Its affordable and whatever you select will go into your client profile so you have it for next time. Love...love..love.

The BEST Sephora in Austin. They went into the backroom to dig out some new products that werent on display yet. They even let me test them out before I purchased. I was the first one to try out and loved that they did that for me. Cant beat this place on customer service.

Bad customer service. The employee who helped me was not nice. I was interested in foundation, and needed help finding the best match. The employee who helped me wordlessly chose a shade and put it on my face before handing it to me rudely and walking away. Almost as if it was a trouble just to speak to me. I’m not even sure it is the best shade for me, as she didn’t even try any of the others just to check.

I hate going to this Sephora location because mostly all off the employees are rude. They blatantly follow customers who they deem shoplifters and worse will go through peoples stuff to check if theyre shoplifting. I felt belittled by an employee after I asked about the sale price of the mini Natasha Denona palettes. Ive done the surveys and called the store to let them know about my experience but I havent seen any noticeable changes. Please do yourself a favor and visit the Sephora at Jcpenney next door. The employees there are super friendly.

I was trying to find a foundation that matched me and I was walking around trying shade, being ignored by employees that were literally standing around doing nothing and talking to each other. When someone finally came up to me 20 mins later, I asked for help finding a shade, and she said two words to me the whole time and when the product I wanted was out, she didn’t recommend any others and basically just left me there.

I absolutely hate coming here because it is always a horrible experience. Ill see employees everywhere yet the line will be ridiculously long and only one employee will be checking people out. Once someone was helping me and she walked off after I told her I had the product she was showing me. Another time someone was telling me about a product and I was going to by it but after talking it up she walked off without even telling me where it was in the store. Ive left this store empty handed multiple times and just bought whatever I was looking for online because the service in store is so awful. Just shop online.

Countless times I’ve entered and been straight ignored or when I am given service to help looking for where a beauty product is located, I’m looked at with disgust as if the employees who are paid to do their job don’t want to help me at all. I was told that employees here would try to pick people apart to get them to buy more makeup and thought it was funny. Then I, a guy, went in with my wife and was told unsolicited that I had dark circles under my eyes. I said I didnt want makeup, but she insisted on a particular product that could help with my nonexistent problem. Youre not going to squeeze a dollar or of me be trying to make me feel self conscious. I feel bad for the young women who fall prey to this scheme

It’s really stupid that you can’t exchange something just because I bought it from the jcpenny and y’all are owned by different companies that’s not my problem and your website does not specify this as far as returns and exchanges go. Manager was a rude insensitive lady who kept calling me love, babydoll just a tip when your telling a customer something that’s absolutely absurd and makes no sense don’t keep calling them love because that will just piss the customer off more. Will never be returning to Barton creek or jcp and will continue to purchase my makeup from Ulta!!(Updated to 3 stars since the store director called me back and told me the associate was mistaken and I could have exchanged the item) the experience was still awful and I came back the next week and the store was crowded there was like 10+ people in line, one cashier. I went to my old faithful JCP Sephora and got help from an extremely nice man who helped me pick exactly what I needed and I’m obsessed with the product. 💕

Worst sales experience ive ever encountered. I was only in the store for about 5 minutes but as soon as i walked in i made eye contact with two employees who BOTH looked me up and down and turned away. No greeting or anything, not even a smile. So i continue to browse into the store, a makeup artist bumps into me pretty hard and continues to walk without apologizing even though i had already apologized. I then needed help being matched to a foundation, every employee ignored my request. Several employees were touching up their makeup in mirrors or gossiping. Very unprofessional, wont be returning.

Oh man, the service is awful. Ive been here several times and Im constantly ignored. I usually have to run around looking for help, even when theres plenty of salespeople around.Somehow I wound up a VIB Rouge member (oops!) and the cashier actually got mad at me because I didnt want to cash in my points. I prefer the Sephora in the Arboretum area.

On saturday the 29th. 2016, I bought some ítems. At 2:04pm, I paid them with my credit card. The cashier gave me my items just with my bill . I had to request for a bag, and she gave it to me in a bad way. I had to request her, to put the items into the bag, What she did in a bad mood. I told her that all the clients should be treated in the same way. Before I leave the store, I look for the manager who apologize and told, will talk with that employee, what I hope she did.
