I’ve been coming to Crank Auto ever since I moved to Austin. Fateh is the most honest mechanic shop owner anyone could ask for. Recently my check engine was on and I couldn’t pass inspection. He could’ve taken me for a ride, instead he dug around and showed me exactly the small part that was the problem, told me the name of it and to shop around online for it to save money. I was able to easily fix it myself too as per his suggestion. Any other mechanic could’ve took me for a ride and done me in for hundreds of dollars easily.Fateh’s shop does all our inspections too. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes tops. The added bonus is that I have a 2005 Tundra, and Fateh has a 2002 Tundra. This guy REALLY knows his way around Toyota trucks. He can just listen to it for like 5 seconds and know exactly whats going on. It’s like he’s one with Yota.It would have to be a cold day in hell before I’d take any vehicle in our family anywhere else than to Crank Auto. No BS, super knowledgable, fair prices, awesome service.

I was sent here after my battery gave up on me and Fateh immediately got to work on my vehicle. Made it a very simple process for me and which was great since I am usually one to stress out whenever Im having car troubles. Definitely will be returning here in the future for my other auto needs.

What a great auto repair shop, these guys are awesome! They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and they cared about me and my truck. They fixed my trucks engine after a different mechanic couldnt figure out what the problem was. I got my truck back really quick and it runs better than ever. I think that the best part about my experience with Crank Auto Repair was the price. It was much less expensive than what the other shops had quoted me. I also want to mention that they had a Courtesy Loaner Car that I got to drive (at no charge!) while my truck was being repaired. I will definitely return in the future, they have earned my business.

What can I say? Showed up for an unscheduled inspection with wife and 3 kids in car. 2 in car seats. They pulled me up to their bay and got to it. They didnt try upselling anything. It made me want to buy much needed wipers. Standard time taken on inspection. Overall, fast and took care of business.

Bad salesperson if you make a promise to hold a car for somebody but you sell it anyways. Why would I trust you to go under my hood? This man lied to me about selling a car. Such a bad salesman he could of least called me and told me to come now or it’s gone.

My Husband and i heard about owner (Fateh’s) good reputation as a Mechanic in Austin. We took our 2000 Toyota Tundra to his shop. He was such a professional and did everything he promised. He also did a few extra things for us to help make our vehicle safe as our Daughter, Son in law and grandson would be the primary occupants. The work was TOP notch and he was so easy to work with. After taking my car to the dealership, receiving this long list of things my car needed done to it, with a price tag that put me into panic mode. My friends husband Ahmed told me to take my car to Fateh and I am so glad that I did!!!! The list of things my car “needed” was actually not necessary. He helped put my mind at ease and gave me a lot of reassurance. There were a few things that needed TLC and Fateh took care of it. He provided exceptional service and I had my car back the same day! I appreciated his honesty and not trying to scam me. The shop is a little hard to find but if you take your time and actually pay attention you won’t miss the entrance into the area like I did haha. Friendly and efficient

Really upset with our car. We have taken it back more than once to have our AC fixed. Before our AC broke our air blew hard through the vents and was perfectly cold. One day it broke so we took our car here. After 3 attempts of trying to fix it Fatah got the AC to work but now the AC isnt working in the passenger side. It barely blows any air and it makes it incredibly difficult to sit as a passenger in the heat. Its almost like there is something blocking the vents from blowing as hard as they should. There are vents only in the front so we rely heavily on all vents to work so the air can reach our small children. Very upset and very dissatisfied.

Its so nice to find an honest mechanic!AAAs tests indicated that my alternator was broken, which wouldve been a $300-400 repair. Someone recommended Fateh at Crank Auto Repair to me.He told me it wasnt the alternator, but just a little part that broke. No need for the big repair.Fateh easily couldve taken advantage of the situation but isnt that type of person. It was so nice! 5 stars!
