Southern Turf Co. did an amazing job on my recent side yard project! This space had the potential to be perfect for my puppy to run and play but it flooded every time it rained becoming a muddy mess which she then brought into the house! Now its our favorite space; she chases the tennis ball and has no problem going to the bathroom on the turf. Its very easy to clean up as well. Susan was quick to respond, always up to speed on trends and helped me plan out what I was trying to do and even connected me to someone in my neighborhood that had one of the turf styles that I was trying to decide on. Amazing! We’ve always been told, you gotta choose between grass or trees. With Southern Turf, we’re getting BOTH. They did an amazing job covering our entire backyard including a great job removing a stump and adding a putting green. Adam was incredibly communicative and answered all our questions promptly. Very strong 5 star review for Southern Turf Co. I have a fairly small backyard, about 350 sq ft. I had zeroscaped the area a few years ago but stubborn Texas weeds took over and had my yard looking like the jungle - which isnt ideal when you have a dog.Susan at Southern Turf came out for an estimate very soon after I requested a quote, brought a ton of turf samples for me to choose from, and had a lot of good ideas and guidance for me on the process, etc. We scheduled my work for a few weeks after that when her crew was free, and even after a few rain delays Susan kept in touch and we found a good day to get the work done. Im honestly a little shocked by how great the quality is - not just of the turf but of the foundation they build up beneath it. My yard finally feels cohesive and the turf is comfortable to walk on and feels 100% solid beneath my feet. My dog finally has his space back.Cant recommend them enough!

We are in love with our new Southern Turf (Barton Springs Turf)! It has changed the way we live. Having two large dogs and a toddler, we were constantly cleaning because we were bringing mud and dirt into our home. Now we dont have to worry about it or pay a large water bill to attempt to keep the grass green. We went with the Barton Springs turf and love it. It really transforms the area from almost unusable to a new outdoor play area. My kids were out doing cartwheels on the turf ASAP. Southern Turf did an amazing job installing the Barton Springs turf in my courtyard for my new pup! Not only does it look beautiful, but the drainage is exceptional when it comes to rain and my puppy using the yard to potty. They were even able to install turf between the concrete pavers to make the entire yard look really seamless. Ive had several guests comment that they did not even realize this was artificial grass, which is a testament to the high level of quality that Southern Turf provides. Im not typically one to share reviews, but picking a company for a job like this can be tough and I definitely looked to reviews for help early on. If you are ready to start getting estimates, you should at least talk to Southern Turf Co.First off, Im very pleased with the end result. My yard was totally and completely dead and now the surface is pleasant and usable again. I met with 4 different companies to get estimates and the Barton Springs Turf I went with was my favorite material of all the options I was presented. The material feels soft and the color variation helps it look a little less artificial. I have no complaints about the quality of installation at the time of writing (roughly 6 weeks post-installation).Secondly, Southern Turf Co and Chrissy specifically were the most organized and eager to please of everyone I talked to during my search. She addressed all of my questions and concerns and critically worked with me to keep costs reasonable. Specifically, they were able to put down stone in the rarely used and narrow side yard sections to help manage the cost of the project. The crew took about 1 and 1/2 days to complete the installation and were pleasant and communicative.Lastly, I know a lot of you are looking for details on cost. The best thing you can do is just have people out to your yard to get an accurate estimate. That said, my project averaged out to just under $10/sq ft but keep in mind that stones were installed for around 1/3 of the total area of my yard. Its hard to say exactly how this compares to the other estimates I received, as no other company suggested using stones in the side yards and as a result were higher across the board than Southern Turf Co.

We have our dream backyard because of Southern Turf!! They did an amazing job bringing our vision to life. We have spent every day enjoying our backyard, we haven’t seen the yard this green in years. The crew is fast and efficient, even on a rainy cold bad weather day. It took them one and half day to finish, only because it got dark early and they didn’t want to make any mistakes. After several years of trying to get grass to grow on the rock hard clay that was my back yard, I decided to research artificial turf. Ive seen it at several different houses in my neighborhood and was impressed with the appearance and durability of the turf; even after several years. (as is the case at a day care center just down the street which installed it in the front yard about 5 years ago). I called 4 companies to give me an estimate. They were all within several hundred dollars; however, one representative stood out in professional presentation and follow up, Southern Turf Company. Their representative, Chrissy Edwards, explained in depth the process of installation and the durability of the turf; offering a warranty substantially longer than the other companies. She was the only one to follow up after the estimate, she walked the crews through the area to be installed, checked on the work and followed up with me after it was finished. She answered all my questions and made sure I was happy. Very professional. As you can see from the photos, the yard is not your typical 4 cornered square. I was concerned that the curves in the yard could cause extra seams which would affect the appearance. However, the crew did an excellent job and the yard is beautiful. I should have done this years ago, instead of wasting time, energy and money on grass that just would not grow. I recommend Southern Turf Co. to anyone considering artificial turf, they are professional and do an excellent job.

Southern Turf Co. installed turf in a small, but technically difficult (because of a gazebo) area of our yard. They were able to complete the project quickly and efficiently. The installation technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. We previously had turf installed by another company in a different part of the yard and Southern Turf did a superior job from start to finish. Better price, quicker install, and clear and timely communication throughout. The turf looks amazing and they left the area very clean. We also have a pond that is right next to the area of installation and they were very careful to not get debris in it. Highly recommend- call them first!

We used Southern Turf Co for our backyard turf and LOVE it. They were very patient with us and they offer flexible payment options. I worked with Adam and they were truly wonderful to work with. Southern Turf is the way to go for adding turf to you mud pit where you’ve planted grass that didn’t make it a half a dozen times. Not only was their bid and price 20% more competitive than the lowest bid I received from their competitors, they went the extra mile comping additional landscaping needs their competitors changed heartily for in their bids. Finally, when my turf was damaged a week after installation by a college athlete visitor doing power cleans and dropping the barbell on it... THEY FIXED IT FOR FREE!! Don’t bother using anyone else. Southern Turf is the top of the TOP.

My turf journey began when I realized that I wanted to give myself and the dogs something more appealing and less hot in my backyard than the “heat rocks” that came from the previous owner. The dogs go in the backyard to handle their business so I wanted to make sure that not only they could have a space that wasn’t as harsh on their paws, but a space for me to entertain and enjoy on my own as well. I started to conduct a search for turf after considering a couple of alternatives. During my search, I found the advertisement for Southern Turf Co. on Facebook of all places. Go figure! I decided to do some research on the company and found nothing but positive, glowing reviews. I decided to reach out and got a hold of Scott. The initial conversation helped me see why this company got so many great reviews. I ended up scheduling a consultation with Scott so he could come out, survey the backyard, and gave me an opinion and estimate on the project. Scott came to our consultation early (very impressive) and came very well prepared. He had 2 different types of turf samples with him and began to walk me through the project and what all it would entail. He gave me a brochure to follow as he gave me the rundown of which turf would work best for my specific needs, how much lead time he’d need for the project, what the project would consist of from start to finish, and what the post-project engagement would look like. I was impressed with how thorough and meticulous Scott was during the whole consultation. He then took measurements of the space, gave me an estimate of time to completion and cost. He even asked for a follow-up call/email which showed me that he was very serious about earning my business. After this, I didn’t need to see any additional proposals and decided to move forward with Southern Turf Co. We scheduled the project for a week and a half later. Once the day came, the crew came on time and immediately began to get to work. They completed the project in about a half a day. Once completed, I reached back out to Scott because I wasn’t sure how he would collect payment. He let me know that he would not accept payment from me until he came by and personally inspect the project to ensure that everything was done up to his standard. That right there solidified that not only would I never use another company again for any future turf projects but that this would be my first and only recommendation for any other friends, family, or acquaintances that have a turf project. Scott came the following morning to take a look and ensure everything was completed. The team forgot to leave a rake for the turf so he ensured that he would personally bring one by when he was back in the area. He asked me to do a quick video review for the project (which I happily volunteered my boyfriend for) and went on to his next appointment. All in all, this was a 11 out of 10 experience and I cannot speak highly enough about Scott and Southern Turf Co. Hire them for your turf project.

Southern Turf Co. installed turf for our entire backyard. This installation was for a rental property that was constantly flooding and pooling water. The yard looks fantastic and no longer gets muddy. We have happy renters thanks to Southern Turf Co. The crew and project manager were polite and professional.
