Stop by and meet them, you’ll be glad you did.I have bought guns from many sources and had great experiences, but the real test of character of your gun store is when you buy that gun that just seems to have the dreaded gremlin that returns intermittently. Well, it happened to me with one of the guns I purchased at Storied Firearms (specific gun not important, as this review is on how it was handled!). Charlie and Cherie immediately took action to make it right, and gave me several options to choose from as to how I wanted to move forward. They took care of everything, and even when it required a couple trips back to the manufacture, they stood behind me. Like I said, what else can you ask for from a business owner. I would highly recommend them, and I have bought several guns from them. I also enjoy just going in to “window” shop now and then and to say Hello. I traded my handgun for a better carry weapon. Every single person, including the other customers, were very welcoming and helpful. I have long awaited to find a true Gun Store in Austin that has knowledge and a kind culture since arriving from Louisiana a couple years ago. I will not be shopping anywhere else. Charlie was honest and very helpful. Hard to find that now a days. Would recommend Storied Firearms any day of the week!

By far the best experience I have had with a gun store. I was looking for a very difficult to find lever action, storied firearms was the only store in Austin that could get it for me. I put down a small holding fee to special order the gun and a week later I had the rifle. Charlie was fantastic and treated my wife and I very well. Background check and transaction were both quick and smooth. Dont go to mcbrides or reds, if you can get it from Storied go through these guys.

Living in North Austin there are plenty of firearm stores around me. However, shopping around I found Storied Firearms had exactly what I was looking for and at a better price than all the other stores. Not only that, Charlie and his wife worked with me over the phone until I could get down there from work to tidy things up. The way they conduct business is nothing short of superb.Safe to say Ive found my gun store in the Austin area and will be giving this couple my business for the foreseeable future.

This is a neat little shop with some very good prices. Decent selection of firearms though not overwhelming. The employee I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful.

Ive been to gun stores all over the country. They are by far the nicest, most helpful owners Ive ever come across. They had the scar 17 I was looking for. I was in and out quickly and will definitely be buying more firearms from them!

Purchased another gun from Storied Firearms today, and Charlie also fixed my shotgun for me at no additional charge. The owners are wonderful people, very kind, and always willing to go out of their way to help you. I will continue to buy from them.

I have collected guns my whole life, and the guys at Storied are awesome. Great couple, really knowledgeable, fair prices, and they always get me exactly what I need! For the beginner or the experienced this is the place to go. Skip the big stores in Austin - lose the obnoxious attitude.

Its run by a really nice couple who are always friendly and generally just pleasant to deal with. They have an interesting selection, too, so I like to stop in when Im near by just to browse and talk to them. Their prices are competitive as well. Its an all around great little shop and Im glad to give them my business.

Bought my 2nd weapon today from them. Customer service was spot on. He even walked me through care and procedure on it. I will continue to buy my weapons from them. Charlie and his wife are great people, good prices and make you feel comfortable and dont act like they are bothered to answer questions. Excellent experience.

Stopped in for the 1st time today. After going to multiple shops in Austin (Houston, Dallas and San Antonio...I travel for work) I will definitely buy my next firearm from Storied. Ive never been in a gun shop where the folks were so nice, informative and genuine. I didnt even buy today but they sold me on their shop, have my business from here on out.

Visited a few times before I purchased my first firearm. They listened to my needs and showed me a few different models then encouraged me to try them at a local range. No pressure to buy!After I figured out what I wanted, Sig Sauer P320, I shopped around and found that this gun was hard to come by in 9mm, except at Storied! They had one in stock and the best price to boot.Ammo prices are also on par or cheaper than Academy. I highly recommend you support this small business.

Friendly people, fair prices, but terrible customer service.I traded in a handgun for a new handgun (my 3rd purchase here in 1 1/2 yrs).I was given a tiny receipt that only showed the small amount paid after trade-in. No specifics, like serial # of gun purchased--and no mention of trade-in. It took me 3 months to get a receipt (which was a one sentence hand-written note) showing the model and serial # of the trade-in. This is an important receipt. If a handgun is used in a crime and recovered by police, they will come looking for the person it is registered to. You need proof that you traded it to a firearms dealer. This firearms dealer did not understand why I wanted this.

First time customer, definitely will be back. Great customer service. Friendly staff.

After doing research and actually using the weapon they sold me, I learned it was a perfect fit.Polite, fun, and most of all HONEST.
