This is the second location that I have used at Extra Space and my experience was Awesome at this location. Sheneka made sure to always listen with concern, very patient and was there to offer other suggestions if need be. I had an issue in my unit and she offered her assistance and follow through to the end. You can always count on Sheneka to be very professional and friendly. She’s a great representation of the company! Everyone needs this type of Service with Class!I am editing my review to add don’t bother getting the extra insurance to cover your belongings. It is a rip off. I contacted the acm claims sent them the damage and they have yet to follow up with me since April!!!! They will call and say it’s under investigation but never respond. I’ve even contacted the manager on the property. You pay this to make sure in cases of circumstances. I did not cause the building’s roof to leak and damage my belongings. 😢

I rented my unit for a little over 3 years and every few months they would increase the price with no warning. I was so happy to be able to finally move all of my stuff out of there today. I will NEVER use them again. I even went on their website and saw they were offering the same size unit I had for a cheaper price. If you need a storage unit dont come here unless you have money to throw away. And please extra space owner dont send me the same pre-written response you sent to everyone else who had an issue with the cost.

Excellent experience with getting info and the rental process with Sheneka at the Extra Space Storage in Austell. Very professional and courteous in providing info on the total rental process and answering all questions involved. Went back to her the 2nd day and transacted the rental and she was just as professional and courteous as she was the first day. Thoroughly went through and explained all aspects of the contract I was to sign, answered all questions and took me through the process of using the entry code, locking and unlocking the rental unit and anything else that matters. Would highly recommend this facility for rental as a result of her good service work.

Sheneka was extremely pleasant and made the rental process easy and quick. She was flexible with my changing availability and thorough in the explanation for the expectations. Very very pleased with my choice in this facility.

I signed up online overnight. I had a phone call from Sheneka the very next day. Sheneka was able to get me a unit right then. Great service, super friendly, clean location!

They have a process where you have to put your code in and then hurry to the elevator. It is ridiculous and hard to do if you have a lot of items and you are alone. I was there maybe 45 days and they went up on the price of the unit. I will be glad to move out. The staff is always nice though.

It started off rocky with the call center giving false information (please provide training on that). While I do understand that the call center is trying to get business in the door, giving inaccurate information is simply not the way and frankly, unethical. There needs to be adequate training and communication between both the call center and store locations.The 5 stars goes to Makalia and Sheneeka (apologize for possible misspelling) for smoothing things over and making things possible. I have used Extra Space Storage at Tramore Pointe for the past three years. It is a spotless, well-managed facility. Recently, I needed an additional unit and spoke with Makalia who helped me through the rental process flawlessly. She even sent photos of the empty units I was considering, so that I could see them without going there in person. Makalia handled all the necessary paperwork through secure email, and she even put a lock on the unit I rented, and sent me the keys. Throughout the transaction, Makalia was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and patient. (It a while for me to decide which unit would work best for my needs.) I cant imagine a better customer service experience. Thank you Makalia! :)

When I first moved my items in, I was extremely pleased with the service but as I moved out the service was terrible and the setup is horrible. They only have one elevator on each side of the huge storage facility. Imagine paying movers by the hour to move two 10x10 units while sharing an elevator with everyone. The carts were almost NEVER available and the access is extremely limited to the units. The staff was incredibly rude, when I asked about the carts due to there only being one available at the time, I was told “ You toured the facility before you moved in and didn’t have to move in” . I would not recommend this facility to my worst enemy at this point.
