I’m from PA , I came here with a flat tire . They didn’t have the man power to help me so I would have had to leave my car behind but being that were not from around here I couldn’t leave it there till the next day. It’s the only car we had . After I got the bad news I walked out to my car and I tried to figure it out . I started calling other places in hopes that someone would have same day service . As I did that I saw the cashier walk out the store and walk over to me . He asked what my tire size was and longer story short , he told me to come inside that he would try help me out the best he could . My tire got changed and I was out of there in a matter of 30 minutes . They didn’t have to do that , they had other cars they needed to work on , this hit me in a way that left me amazed. These are very good ppl , that was going above and beyond , and I will take this and the next person that I find that needs my help I will do the same . Thank you very much .

Lairs! Be aware! My check engine light was on so I paid for a check engine diagnostic. They told me all my car needed was a tune up which was about $1333. Come to find out it’s my Catalytic converter. My car probably didn’t even need a tuneup

Make sure that you get a second opinion after visiting this place. My friend was told by a lady named Donna that they needed multiple repairs that amounted to almost 600 dollars. After going to another mechanic the price was barely 70 dollars. When are these places going to learn that honesty and transparency prompts customers to return? NOT UNETHICAL CON ARTIST OUT TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AT THE EXPENSE OF INNOCENT DECENT HARD WORKING CUSTOMERS.

The lady that helped me did not prioritize my concerns or answer questions properly. she was too much in a rush and just throws a big ol’ amount at you and expects you to pay without any reasonable explanations. It’s okay to upsale but listen to the customer and what they want . Try to adress their issues let them feel as though they are at the right place. I would never be back here.

I used to do all the maintenance to my cars in this place, for comfort, service and speed ... but in recent months the attention has become very bad, the people who attend there are very unpleasant, they say that an oil change takes 2 hours and Ive been waiting for my car for an oil change for more than 8 hours. Good service and high price, I pay for it, but bad service and high price, never again. One less customer

I made an appointment with the location on 2045 MacLand Crossing Cir SW, Marietta, GA 30008, after they confirmed an appointment at 9A the day prior, they did not see fit as to why they did not install my 4 tires. I called this location, they were able to get my truck in, installed the 4 new tires, within a reasonable time. Thanks again Mrs. Donna. Greatly appreciated.

Terrible service, took my truck to have it checked and we went to pick it up the next two days because they told that they were busy. They told us the issue and said it’ll be 10k for a change of engine.We took it back since we don’t have that kind of money especially because they were trying to rip us off. As soon as we turned on the truck it was making a very loud noise which was strange because it never did that before so we took it to our personal mechanic and it was because we had a piece stolen from the truck. We went back to pep boys and the manager here was so nervous once he saw us come in. I DON’T recommend leaving your vehicle here.

Visited this PepBoys twice today I guess my money is not good enough.. Early says walk-in welcomed. Earlier I came he said it was a 2 hour wait , for an oil change, so I come back at 6pm ... and it stays open to 7pm.. he says it’s too late he’s actually working on appointments for Monday. Online it say no appointment needed for an oil change.. I’ll go the competition from now on.. I’m sure there’s a Black Owned establishment in this area..

Never again had my son vehicle towed to them to get a dianostic done,called to check on it Fritz the store manager told me what the issue was I asked for the price he quoted me a price and I said to him I thought if you get the work done that the dianostic fee is waived he says thats managers discretion.I called corporate the fee was waived not that customer service was any better they guy act like I was annoying him when I called.I was told the the vehicle would be ready in 2 days well 2 days turned into 3 weeks.I would call them every other day to check on the car because they will not reach out to you unless you have called them first, and even then theyll tell you that theyll call you back once they find out whats the hold up on the car and never do.I can go on and on about Pep boys and my bad experience with this location but its waaaaaaay to much they have been crossed off my list forever.

I called and was hung up on by the female MANAGER on April 28th. I called to make an appointment and was rudely told to come in AND WAIT. Even after I explained that I much rather make an appointment, I was told that twice and hung up on twice. She refused to give her name. This is NOT how a business should operate.

Came in for an 12-volt outlet replacement. Spotted some other safety issues and repaired them for me. Great service team. Very friendly staff. I will definitely come again.

They did a great job, my brakes and rotors were a mess. The front desk was very helpful and thoughtful. Just wish the pricing was a little better. But this place is great.

I mistakingly came here to get an oil change, not realizing that I made an appt at their other location down the road. But since I was there, I asked to have the service done. The young man quoted me $88 for a high mileage oil change. When I told him that I had called and got a different price, he insisted that a coupon was factored in, which was incorrect. I left and went to the location where I had actually made the appt, and they completed the oil change at $55 and gave me an addition $10 off.

I genuinely love this Pep Boys location. As long as they are here I will never go anywhere else for automotive things. This applies directly to retail as I havent needed any work done to my vehicles outside my own abilities yet but anytime I go in there I get the best service. I have purchased everything from windshield wiper fluid, car wash materials, batteries for the vehicles, etc. I havent had one bad encounter. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. This place has good vibes. If I am ever in need of service I will likely take my vehicle here as well just because of the overall good energy at this particular location. Bonus is if you sign up for their Pep Boys Rewards membership you get great coupons mailed directly to you. $40 off a $100 or more purchase?..... Sign me up! Saved a ton of money on a big ticket item I needed for my car. Thank you Pep Boys for putting your best employees at this location. It definitely shows and makes a huge difference!

Terrible sales! the lady donna is looking for work to do on our vehicle. 2019 Lexus does not need anything, as we just came from Lexus the day beforedonna told me i needed oxygen sensors and brakes.Lexus said they look to pull monies from unaware customers.Terrible experience!!!! This Pep Boys tries to price gouge there customers. I went in with a busted radiator hose and needed a thermostat. They tried to charge me 900 dollars!

Good service. Nice people. SOOOOO. SLOOOOWWW. They only have the repair service available. Because of covid-19, you cant purchase parts in the store. Soooo sloooowwwww. Quality work, but soooo sloooowwww! Oil change might be 4 hrs. I was forced b/c I drive a corporate vehicle under contract. Be prepared to wait or have a friend / Uber on the way.

I was very pleased with my recent first-time experience with the Austell Pep Boys. My car was having an issue that my dealership was trying to charge me twice as much for. They ordered the part, fixed my car, and even took me back to work when I had to drop my car off & picked me back up when it was finished! All at a VERY reasonable price! Jose is a very knowledgeable, understanding & friendly manager, and both Tyler & Ted are super awesome and go above and beyond. I will bring my car here from now on!

I have visited this location on several occasions for service and can honestly say that I have only had good interactions with the staff. Bud gets my vehicle scheduled and in and out with ease. Tyler always provides excellent customer service and helps me keep up with the maintenance on my vehicle. The prices are affordable and you can find everything you can think of for your car car needs.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PEP BOYS! I came in for a standard oil change and they left the cap off of my engine. My car was smoking bad and my engine light was on. When I returned to get the issue fix they were not trying to compensate me for their mistake and they acted as if nothing was wrong....they could’ve messed up my engine. I’m highly disappointed in the service and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!

I ordered a part on Wednesday and called the store twice to see if the part had come in. I gave them my info and they gave me an attitude because they couldn’t find the order. They then told me to call the store in piedmont to get the part because they didn’t have it and the store is closing. I’ve never received worse service in my life and don’t recommend dealing with them at all.

The service is great. Friendly, professional, and handled in a timely manner. Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

Frirtz is very inconvenient. Ive come up at least 3 diff times 2 get my vehicle diagnosed before my warranty expires. Instead of him bring thorough, he gives bits and pieces. Only reason I come here is because my warranty is thru them. 0 stars

I should have read the reviews before coming..... But since I came once before and no problem I didnt think anything about it. First off they have young assistance manger and a young manger who needs to learn how to communication with customers first off I was told that a part was not in my warranty and paid for a job that my warranty would have paid for. When I discover that I had paid and was still in my warranty I call and talk to. Eric the manger he acted as if he didnt have a care in the world and knew nothing of what I was talking about. I feel I was taken advantage of because I am a female. Its people like them that, make it hard for hard working women to take their car to a shop without having a man with them. I would not recommend this shop to any one. What they did was wrong and I plan on taking legal actions

At one point in time I prided myself on taking care of as much of my familys vehicles maintenance needs on weekends as I could; oil changes, gasket replacement, electrical, brakes, tune ups, and so on... Then, the company I work for assigned me a company truck and told me to charge any work that needed to be done on that truck to the company but, that I couldnt perform the labor on that truck myself due to insurance reason. Thats when I visited Pep Boys Austell Rd. for something more than a parts pick up. After a few consecutive 5-Star visits with my company truck, it dawned on me that the time Id been spending on my familys vehicles on weekends could now be spent with my family. Because Bud, Jose, and Tyler have an attention to detail and an appreciation for quality and a job well done that is second to none. Ive been an extremely satisfied, multi-vehicle customer for several years now, and I have my weekends back.If you are in Austell and are looking for a place that will care for your car with the same passion that you would, I highly recommend Pep Boys on Austell Rd.

The guys at this store are really good. One instance in particular I had a problem with the shifter not going into Park all the way. I had already spent 850 dollars on a brake problem and was told that the dealer would have to fix this, and I didn’t have that kind of money to spend on anything as I had just been diagnosed with cancer and had to pay Dr bills. They took it apart from the steering wheel to the transmission, fixed it and then didn’t charge me anything for the repairs. Since then I’ve spent a lot of money and they’re always more than fair

I highly recommend this Pep Boys! Jose and the tech on duty helped me RIGHT BEFORE CLOSING after my driver side rear tire got punctured by a screw and developed a slow leak. I wish I got the techs name too so I could give him a shoutout, but I hope he knows I appreciate his work! I was over at Firestone and they told me they couldnt patch it that day. I needed my tire to be in a good way for my commute so I called up this Pep Boys while sitting in my car at the Firestone parking lot and Jose said if I could get there in 20 minutes theyd see what they can do. Got there at 7:40 20 minutes before closing and they fixed my tire right up and got me back on the road. Im extremely grateful and will definitely choose this Pep Boys for any service I need in the future!

Service on the retail side is still a challenge. There was a couple in front of me waiting for 5 minutes to make a purchase. I didnt make mine as I did not want to wait. There was no one else in the building.

Outstanding customer service and Speedy auto service. These guys are awesome! My car was the first one in the shop, and i was told it would probably take 1&1/2hrs to be completed, it actually took less than an hour. I left another location after i was told it typically takes 2&1/2hrs for an alignment and oil change. Ill definitely be back.

Great service. The Store was closed and we needed a battery b/c our car would not start. He let us in to buy the it and drove us back to the car. William came along and checked our battery and the car n it started with out needing the new battery. Above and beyond great service.

Mechanics did a good job, but the people in front desk were too slow taking extra steps taking too long.

This place has no regards for my personal time ever! They are always very slow and relaxed with no sense of urgency! Everytime I come here, there seems to be alot of unhappy mechanics coming to work on cars, who dont want to work or wont come to inform the customer of the progression on their car. Once a customer asked them about whats happening with the work status on the car theyll get attitudes quickly! Theyll do very piss poor work on your car in dirty and unorganized work area! They will pull your car into the bay then take 15-20 minutes every hour it seems. They tell you that they completed the job but then when you get the car home, youll come to find that the work was not completed but was charged to you on an invoice! They do this a lot to women! So If one have options, I would advise you to go some where else unless you have 3-6 hours to sit up here and even then there is no make it right quarantee that your car will get worked on when they say or be ready in that time!

I came in for a new battery. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the staff. I told them what I came in for and was escorted over to Tammy. Tammy took great care of me while I was there. Purchased my battery and got it installed in no time at all.

I ordered a new auto battery online to be installed at the Floyd Rd location. When I arrived, the assistant could not find my order despite confirmation email. Also that they did not stock that particular battery, and they were not very helpful, but suggested I go to Austell store. Angry at the poor service I received, I proceeded to the Austell location. To my good fortune, I was assisted by Service Advisor Tyler Day, who-seeing my irritation-promptly and easily found my order and immediately resolved the problem. He did his job..yes..but the care and concern he showed me was exemplary and showed that Pep Boys does care about good service and customer satisfaction..Thank you, Tyler. Will be back for future service.

We went to this location even though there is a location in Hiram much closer to home. Tyler and the staff were very kind and efficient. They had Moms car up and going in less than 2 hours. Thanks for the service guys.

The service manager there, Chris McGraw, gave me outstanding customer service. He did NOT take advantage of the fact that I am a young, female that came to receive Pep Boys services alone. Chris made sure I knew the good, bad and the ugly literally. He also provided me with the best, most affordable solutions. Before that day, I had never went to pep boys before, but now thats the only place Im willing to go too. You guys are amazing.
